I can't praise this daycare enough. my son has had a pretty terrible experience with previous daycare's from incidents that no one had answers for to being abused on camera by his teacher. we decide to give this daycare a chance and I was so nervous to enroll my son once again to another daycare but this is by far the best daycare. from the directors at the front desk to the teachers, everyone is so caring and my son actually love coming here! every morning his teacher ms. Cory has breakfast waiting for him but before he sits down, he runs to her for a hug and seeing the at she embraces him every time makes my heart melt. when I pick him up, I always peak inside before getting his attention and he is either reading a book with me. Inez his evening teacher or dancing to music! he has learned so much since he has been here! he hasn't even turned two yet and he knows his alphabets, his colors, and can count to 10! he also knows when to say " please ", " thank you" , " sorry" and " excuse me". I can't thank miss Dee the director enough for reassuring me my baby is in safe hands and really meaning what she said. This place is huge on reading and have a book of the week every week for the kids to read. This week they are having a boo fair for the kids that we are excited about. My son will be starting preschool soon which makes me sad we will be leaving but if and when I have another baby, this is the extended family we will be back to and that's coming from someone who drives from San tan. Trust me, they are worth it. They treat these kids like they are their own. read more

We have been with Arizonans Children's Academy since my son was 8 months old and now my daughter is going there. I've had my son here since 2. He is now 4, turning 5 in December, enetering Kindergarten with after school care still at this facility. My son struggled with speech and confidence. It took a little while to adjust to the environment but he has since thoroughly enjoyed his time and looks forward to school everyday. He absolutely loves all his teachers. The two managers are super sweet. They are very accommodating and have worked with us on our schedule and hours ever since COVID hit. My Personal Experience: 2's -2018 The 2's are split into upper and lower. Although there may be a bit of kids, it's the ideal age for daycare so I can understand the overpopulation. However, I have never seen more than 9-10 kids and almost always 2 people per room to assist with diaper changes, potty training, and activities. My son was potty trained at 2 and I credit this school for their assistance with this. The children are learning how to follow direction, how to socialize, fine and gross motor skills, they are read to, they do art projects, and tons of finger painting! I absolutely loved all the art work from my son. He knew all his colors and shapes by the end of this time in this class. On occasions, the children had scuffles and he came home with ouch reports detailing what happened. Most of the time it was just fighting over toys. One time a bite mark, but I don't blame the staff. Toddlers are aggressive little smeagels who can't quite communicate and have yet to learn boundaries. 3's-2019 They will not swap you over until your child is potty trained. I noticed a huge change in his behavior and development here. He was much more communicative and used a lot of different vocabulary words we didn't use at home. It let me know he was learning them at school through the books they read. He made so many friends in this group. Terrible 3's was a thing. There were many mornings he threw fits, wouldn't go into the classroom, threw food, cried. He was testing his teachers but they were all patient and understanding. He learned about good manners, proper eating etiquette, his letters, counting to 20, recognized colors, shapes, some letters, etc. 4's-2020 My son is currently in the 4's and headed into early Kindergarten testing for the 21-22 school year. I can't tell you how much of a positive experience he is having now that he is in the 4's classroom. He absolutely adores his friends, Mr. Matthews and Ms. Suzy, and everyday he's got a story about what the teachers are doing to enrich the kid's experience. They have had fun activities like planting flowers, digging for worms, releasing butterflies, Dr. Suess day, holiday parties, the list goes on. With full time tuition, kids have breakfast, snack, lunch, and snack. There is a menu that is posted on the wall but for the most part, lunch is pretty healthy. It is not easy being an early childhood facility but the staff does best everyday to serve our community and take care of our children. I am also an academic for higher ed and definitely 100% credit this facility for the early childhood curriculum my kid has received to be kindergarten ready. read more

My son is Jack is 3 about to be 4 and has apraxia (slow speech delay). We wanted to move him out of home care to give him the extra push I needed. I did a lot of research before finding Arizona children's Academy and have never regretted the day we started since we've been there. He's Exceller rated in the learning part of speech language and social skills. The staff is amazing. I highly recommend and rolling your child! read more

My grandson has been going there for a few months now. Everything started out pretty well. Within the last month my grandson came home with a terrible bite on his shoulder. Mom called and they new nothing about this. That day they said he was aggressive and pushed another kid. Maybe the reason why is because he was bit. The last day he was there, I was picking him up. He was sprawled on the floor crying. A teacher said to him, "that's what you get." She saw me and moved away real quick. My grandson had been coming home grumpy. I think I now know why. We never got any of his art work. Why? Don't know. I could go on, but I won't. My daughter has found another place. My grandson enjoys it. The teachers are engaged with the kids. They even sent my daughter a picture of him playing his first day. read more

I was employed here 2/10-2/13/2020. My children were free because I was employed. My daughter was in the young 2's and my son was in the 3's. I was informed my son needed to be potty trained so we trained him in a week and then I started. My son came home his second day with poop in his underwear. My daughter wasn't changed for 5 hours which they blamed on not documenting. I do not believe it as my daughters butt was very red from sitting in her last BM diaper. My kids constantly cried on the way to the center saying they were scared and didn't want to go. Our first day, my sons teachers yanked his blanket out of his hand. None of this is acceptable. This is neglect and abuse. I worked in the One's class and they have no toys except some ripped up books and a piano or two and some box cars. The kids fight, beat each other up, and bite. All. Day. Long. We were always writing incident reports and sometimes the teachers didn't even write one. The kids were so frustrated they had nothing to do. When the kids wouldn't lay down to nap, they held their heads on to the mat and covered their heads with a blanket. They were rough with how they handled them. Yanking them off tables, off each other. Feb 14, I left for an appt at 1:15. My appt was at 2pm. It went over and I got back to the daycare to finish my shift at 5. Sherri, the director, sent me home. Said my shift was covered. She then wrote me a week later and said they are deducting $90 from my check because the kids were there and I wasn't. But also told me employees kids are free. I was wrong for not showing up the next day but I couldn't stomach my kids (or the other kids) being treated poorly. It's such a scam. They abuse and neglect kids. I would steer clear!! read more

My 1 yr old has been attending since Aug 2017. Prior he was baby sat by family. I was nervous about a facility, but all in all I've had a good experience over the last 3 months. The facility is new (less then 1 yr). The staff is nice, the place is clean & secure. There is a key pad lock to access the childcare rooms. Only reason I'm giving it 4 & not 5 stars is due to a few hiccups I experienced in the beginning when my son was still being breastfed (no formula). It wasn't as smooth as I would have liked. read more

We enrolled our children when they first opened this location. (There is a second location within a mile or so - Kids World Learning Center) There were high turnovers in teachers and it took their administration too long to establish a solid curriculum! Unfortunately, we could not wait any longer so we decided to remove our children immediately! The owners seem to care about their business, but the two administrators that are in place are questionable as they lack strong leadership qualities. ALL THAT GLITTERS AINT GOLD! read more

They only get 1 star due to having to put one. We have had our kids her for a few months. When we started we were told that that there were going to be low ratios and now they have as many kids as they possibly can. The infant room is constantly freezing and the kids arms and legs will be changing color from it, this is not considers an issue to them however, the director even covered the thermostat so that the teachers can not adjust temperatures. They will not allow the use of blankets for the younger children, claiming that it is a state licensing policy, it is not. We provided a sleep sack for our child which they put into another child's crib. I went in to pick up my kids one night, my daughter was alone up front with the assistant director and there were other older kids playing around my infant in the infant room. When I brought up these and other issues to the director she scoffed at me saying "whatever." I stated my concerns and asked for proof on things they said were licensing issues, while quoting the licensing rules put forth by the state. I told her I was done talking to her and she came back into the hallways to argue with me, I told her again I did not want to talk about it with my kids present, one is almost three and is observant of everything. She still continued to follow me out to my car, outside of the clinic, leaving the front desk empty yet again, and try to argue with me. I feel that we have been lied to about everything and that they do not care about quality of care and only money. If you are considering bringing your children here please reconsider, there are many better centers out there. The teaching staff has been great for the most part, Jean, Cinnamon, and Vickie are amazing! Other teachers not so much, they sit around watching the kids wander aimlessly, music in the afternoons is not kid friendly, and frankly they look like a bunch of slobs. The other great teachers that have been there have all been run off due to management. read more

Very nice facility . I met both of the owners and the director and they were all very nice. The owner spent a large chunk of time playing with my daughter while I went over enrollment. I'm very excited to have my children start. This is the best daycare I have seen in this area. read more

My child is currently enrolled at this center. Our experience so far has been less than spectacular. There doesn't seem to be any stability in the teacher that is assigned to my child's class, and I am starting to believe that they are not preparing my child enough to transition to Kindergarten. The customer service here is very lacking, and I find the two current directors complacent and not concerned about the day to day operations of the facility. Even walking in half the time they are tied up in conversation (related or non related to the Academy) and no hello or good morning to parents or kids. We will be evaluating over the next two weeks to see if any improvements are made or will be removing my child to enroll somewhere else. No excuses, this center has been open since January. I should be able to trust you with the most important thing in my life, and right now I don't. read more

My son attended this daycare for about 6 months. He loved it at first and then things quickly got out of hand. When I would drop him off he would cry and want me -- I now know why. The way they treat the kids at this preschool is horrendous. My son was blamed for pushing and hitting kids when it turns out he was being bit and not one teacher knew about it. I sent the owner a picture of the bite mark via email and never got a response back. My mom picked up my son one day and found him sprawled on the floor crying and a teacher was saying "that is what you get and that's what happens." The curriculum is not what it says it is. I never received anything and he was never sent home with anything either. The communication between the teachers, office staff, and owner are horrendous. Any issues I had with my son, other kids, or the staff were brushed off and I was given the ride around with everything. I am glad I took my son out of this preschool immediately. Please do not take your children here. read more
