Such a missed opportunity! This is why I removed a star. The coffee: This is one of my new favorite coffees I have ever had! I got an iced whipped honey latte and it was DELICIOUS! The experience at this restaurant is weird. Show up at 11am…read more- you'll have a line out the door. That is understandable, as it's peak brunch time. You talk to the front desk, and they'll tell you there's an hour wait if you don't have a reservation. You look around and see open tables. You think: "that's odd". You check on the website and it says you can get a reservation for 15, 30, and 45 minutes from now. You select a reservation for 15 minutes from now, and magically there isn't an hour wait for you anymore. You note the still open tables and the line not moving. The restaurant is very loud. They're doing late 2010's industrial chic with not a soft surface in site and garage doors, so everybody's conversation bounces around indefinitely. You wait a while for a server to come. I find the way the food looks when it arrives is always different than the way it sounds when you read the menu - sometimes for better, and sometimes for worse. The coffee and bar menu is pretty decent for a brunch place. Prices are on the high end, though some are more reasonable than others. Then you get hit with a 3% credit card fee which isn't adequately disclosed on the menu or when you enter the restaurant.

I thought it goes without saying, but when a customer greets you, you should greet them back, not just stare. It would be even better if your staff would greet each customer first - make them feel welcome. Maybe I'm a millennial channeling boomer energy, but for years I'm noticing the customer service disappearing from a lot of businesses. I love that connection, but I'm understanding that some people see only a paycheck and skid by with minimal customer service and that is the new way. I don't plan to visit this establishment again.
