Since we were in the Detroit area last week we swung over to Canada for some Windsor Pizza and got half/half "Super!" And "Good Night". We got the pizza and drove to a nearby park next to Detroit River to dig in. The staff was very friendly and met Jimmy (who was on the documentary). I even got a t-shirt from the restaurant . Overall it was super TASTY and when we are back in area we will make sure to pop in again!!!

Admittedly I typically go for a plain ol' pepperoni but they were sold out so I went with what I think might have been a daily special, a philly cheesesteak slice topped with thinly sliced steak with peppers and onions. It was really good! I took it to the alley and ate on their picnic tables back there and it was a really fun atmosphere. Haven't dined in in the main dining room yet but if it's anything like the slice counter, I can imagine it's gonna be great!

BUT the manager was very welcoming, our server was great and the pizzas were amazing. Every time I walk in, the energy and community feels warm & alive. It's the kind of place that reminds you that hospitality is more than service; it's tone. And they set it well. One of the things I appreciate most is seeing local young men leading the space with professionalism, care, and personality. On my most recent visit, I had another great interaction with Stephon, who always brings genuine hospitality, great service excellence, and good energy to the experience. From greeting guests with kindness to curating the music and keeping the vibe right, he makes the space feel intentional and welcoming in a way that stands out. Good pizza bring people in. The toppings were plentiful and I definitely feel like I got my money's worth. I was a little disappointed with the crust as it wasn't cooked all the way through, the store's atmosphere was in need of some updating and paint to give it an overall better appearance of cleanliness. The staff were polite and helpful, even to the point of letting me know the mushrooms were canned and not fresh. Overall I would recommend Krusty's and only give it 3 stars due to atmosphere and under cooked dough. Both are easy fixes and I will adjust my review when that happens.

To me, no other place to go than Buddy's, which has been called one of the five best pizzerias in the United States by the Food Network. Buddy's offers a few pizza sizes: 4-square, 8-square, and 8-square all-corner cheese. My sister and I decided to get the 4-square pizza - each creating our own. Because I am lactose intolerant, I did a mixed cheese blend - Wisconsin brick cheese and Daiya vegan cheese- and for toppings: chicken, spinach, and mushrooms. Wisconsin Brick cheese, a staple in this pizza, is a semi-soft cheese with very low lactose due to its unique production and aging process. It was the best Detroit-style pizza I ever had. Did you really go to Detroit if you didn't have Detroit style pizza?…read more Elephant & Co was the perfect place for my friends and I to unwind after a long day! They're a great place for groups. They have a big dining area and each person is able to set up their own tab to manage their food and drink purchases. When you arrive, you get a wristband. This allows you to scan into the wall taps and fill up how ever much or little you want. They had a great selection of brews and I was especially impressed by a few local beers that were absolutely delicious! The pizzas are huge, so my only regret is not ordering one to share with a friend. I was able to only finish about a quarter of the small before having to call it quits. Detroit pizza is thick, so come hungry. While the pizzas were a hit, I have to say, the fries were a treat! They were so great! All in all- an excellent spot centrally located in Detroit!
