Came here for lunch with some coworkers that a local business took us to. At first I thought what's the big deal, the dining room was not impressive to me. The people who took us out picked the toppings. But when I started eating the pizzas I was impressed! It was so good, and I now understand that Windsor style pizza is a thing. We had canolis too, and it was one of the best canolis I've ever had. One of the locals ordered some to go because the knew how good they are. I took one home to my wife and she was sold. Heard that Windsor has great pizza. Chose this place as it many posts on Reddit list it amongst the fest in city and it's one of the few such places with indoor seating. I wouldn't rank it amongst the best pizza I've ever had but it is very good and different enough that I'll definitely come back again! Service is very good with friendly staff. Pizza is prepared fresh to order and takes about 25 mins. Ambiance is what you'd expect for a counter service pizza place but I really appreciate they're one of the few pizzerias with indoor seating at all (5-6 four top tables). read more

Always a hit for Antonino's. Unfortunately, my girlfriend doesn't like mushrooms so I couldn't order my queen with canned mushrooms. Opted for the Sicilian, thick crust. The extra $3 is so worth it. Came here based on Google reviews and recommended by an article in Food Network Canada. Ordered a medium sized Original Super pizza with extra shredded pepperoni (as known as sausage) and the2 garlic dips one of which is spicy. The pizza was awesome both in presentation and taste! Sausage was plentiful as was the diced green peppers and canned sliced mushrooms. The crust was very good and the pizza was baked perfectly. The spicy garlic dip was a. ice treat versus the original dip. However the pizza didn't really need it. It came to just under $37.00 We were greeted right away and the staff were friendly. This place use to be amazing... now it's super expensive (way over priced) 50$ for a lg with 3 toppings. That's ridiculous. Super skimpy on the toppings, we counted 6 pieces of chicken throughout the entire pizza and they also forgot to put the cheese on. Ended up with cooked bread with sauce on it. So we heard of this "Windsor pizza" and decided to give it a try when we were in the area. Basically the Windsor style of pizza uses shredded pepperoni instead of round pieces. I've have now been twice to this location. The pizza is now my new favourite. I ordered the Angry Hawaiian. Omg so delicious!!!!! You have to give them about 45 minutes to prepare and cook the pizza as they are quite busy but if you order ahead knowing this it's totally worth it. Yum!!!! read more

I had Windsor pizza for the first time this summer. On a recommendation from a co-worker, I tried Antonio's and I'm glad I did. The pizza was awesome. Crispy crust, without being "thing crust", fresh toppings, and just all-around delicious. I'm a pineapple on pizza kind of guy and Antonio's Hawaiian was excellent. The deluxe was pretty great too. This deserves 0/5 stars. Had a cheese and pepperoni slices for the first time. Also had the Marinera sauce and garlic bubis sauce. The taste gets a zero. I felt that I was eating a frozen pizza that was heated by the microwave, but not the whole way. I would never get slices again. The only thing that tasted good was the can of Pepsi. They've been around since 1959. You can't make it in the Windsor pizza game for that long unless you have the goods and deliver them consistently. Antonino's pizza is different than traditional Windsor pizza in crust, sauce and toppings. The sauce is slightly less spicy. They cut the pepperoni a little thicker and wider than Capri or Naples. They have no trouble with special orders - one of my family members even asks them to cut the pizza in a specific way yet they never balk at his request. It's pricey, I'll grant you that. They aren't very accurate in terms of how long it will be until your order is ready. I've called more than an hour in advance, shown up when they said, and still waited 10-15 minutes for the pie. Don't be surprised if they tell you that the wait is 90 minutes on a busy Friday night. It's worth the wait. This location is take-out only. read more

Not only the best pizza in town, but great customer service! Tonight my pizza wasn't up to their standards when they went to cut it. Not only did they insist on making a new one immediately, but also threw in some of their delicious cannoli for the inconvenience. This is Friday night, dinner time. And they are super busy! I was quickly on my way with perfect pie! While I was waiting, another customer came in to pick up her order, but had the wrong location (and quick possibly business). The staff called the other location, and when no order was found there, offered to make her the pizza she was looking for. ANTONINO'S! My family has been getting pizza here for over 10 years. Actually, ever since they opened up their store on Howard! Every time it tastes amazing, fresh, hot and freaking DELICIOUS. They've been consistent every time. Their crust is something unique, it's thin and crispy and I actually enjoy eating this pizza crust! I will definitely keep going back. My favourite pizza place since I've been a kid. It used to be the neighbourhood joint everyone rode their bikes to after school to grab a slice and hang out. The original location, the Howard one, was the place to be. Their pizza is truly the best in the city and I've fought for their honour on more than one occasion, probably even lost a friend or two to it. I'm serious when I say this is the BEST in the city. It's the epitome of classic windsor pizza with shredded pepperoni and a nice spicy sauce. My go to is with pepperoni, sausage, and bacon with onion and mushroom, and it truly gets super loaded with toppings. The sauce and cheese are so good on their own that it's even worth it to just get a plain cheese pizza. Thin crust the way I like it with just enough crunch. Excellent sauce and toppings - they even offer fresh mushrooms! Love the fact that they keep my last pizza on file. I've never been disappointed and the staff are always pleasant both on the phone and when I pick up. They are open at 10am which is another bonus, especially on weekends. Better than many other South Windsor places like Capri's , Armando's and Arcata.

We order from here all the time. The pizza is excellent however the last time I ordered they messed up our pizza. We ordered a king size half peperoni and mushroom and half veggie. We have vegetarians in the house and we order like this all the time. When we got home it was obvious whoever made the pizza was not careful and there was pepperoni on almost every piece of pizza. Out of a full king size pizza their were only 5 pieces that didn't have a few pieces of meat on them. The vegetarians went hungry. I called to explain what happened and the manager offered me 15% off my next order. Thats $6 off a king size pizza. Not what I would consider fair for the error. I'll still order from here, because the PIZZA IS THAT GOOD. but I'll be sure to look at the pizza before bringing it home read more
