Extremely disappointed!! Girlfriend pre-ordered a pizza for around 5:15-5:30 so that I could pick it up after I was done working. She then received a call at around 4:40 asking when she would pick up the pizza as it was done. She then reiterated that it won't be picked up until after 5. They then proceeded to keep the pizza on their cold counter for 40 minutes. When I arrived and said I was here to pick up the pizza ordered for 5:15 they made no comments. When I mentioned it was cold they made no comment and had me pay full price. When checking the pizza it was grossly overcooked and lacked cheese. I am extremely disappointed and will NEVER be returning. read more

It's Windsor's unique answer to the fast casual pizza movement that is becoming so popular (Blaze, Pieology etc) This place is unique because it is pizza Neapolitan style. Great crust - different from those other fast casual places. Gigantic Italian pizza oven is the centrepiece of this restaurant. Fresh ingredients that are unique as well - lamb pancetta and smoked salmon anybody? Great value. Didn't try the gelato but supposedly amazing. The place was super busy when went - I can see why they are expanding to two other locations in this area!!! read more

Great Neighborhood place (need to add Lasalle location). We were able to ride our bikes for some gelato on this trip. Previously pizza! Both visits were spot on. My family and I checked Yelp reviews for great pizza while in town and we also asked at the front desk at the hotel and they agreed that this was a great choice. We loved watching our pizzas being made. We each had our own. Super delicious and the gelato afterwards was amazing as well! Black vanilla was a unique choice. Stopped by at 7pm tonight and walked in to a big lineup. Luckily the staff were prepared to deal with the crowds and were super efficient from the stretching of the dough, to the operation of the oven. It took us a total of 25 minutes (max) to order, grab our pizzas and walk out the door. Service was friendly and the pizza was delicious! Love that you can build your own with a whole display case of toppings. I loved all the great cheese options too! Not sure if you feel like pizza? They even have beautiful fresh salads in warm pizza dough bowls. If you've been to the Caboto Club members lounge for pizza, this is the exact same concept (and from what I understand, the same owners) but a more modern vibe. Just a heads up, there aren't a ton of seats inside so keep that in mind if you visit during prime time hours and want to dine in. read more

This is one of the best places to eat pizza in the Windsor and surrounding area! The crust is nice and thin and the pizza sauce vs cheese ratio is perfect! I usually order a 14" recently changed to 7" marguerita pizza, it's is a nice vegetarian option. I usually ask for chili flakes and chili oil to give it that kick and it does make the pizza taste delicious. read more

After hearing raves about this place from my nieces, we decided to see what the hype was all about for ourselves. Think of this place as fast food pizza...you enter, go to the counter, pick your pizza size, pick fresh toppings, watch it being made in front of you, watch it get popped into a wood burning oven, pay and take a seat and sit while it fires up. The restaurant also offers panini sandwiches, gelato, but the main thrust is pizza. Two of us opted to "make our own", rather than select from some of their recommended pizzas. As it was a late lunch we decided on sharing a 14", with sauce, mozzarella and Romano cheese, pancetta, hot salami and hot peppers. Cost is $14 for a 14" (which is an 8 slice pizza) with 4 toppings. They have smaller, personal 7" pizzas and party size pizzas also available. When you order your pizza, they roll the dough out in front of you...then you follow it down a counter and add your items. By the time we selected our drinks, paid, got our napkins and sat, we were called up within 5 minutes as our pizza was done. The oven itself is circular and the pizza goes on a stone lazy susan that turns in the oven..buy the time it does one complete revolution (360 degrees), the pizza is done. The most important part is taste..and I have to admit it was pretty awesome. The sauce was flavorful but not overbearing, the cheeses fresh, the pancetta and salami salty and the hot peppers (not those pepper rings from a jar) were mildly hot...all cooked perfectly. We have not had good experiences with the 'brilliant' pizza in Windsor so far so expectations were not particularly high. We keep going back so our behavior indicates that we have found something that is on the right track to being great pizza. Update: We tried Vito's in Olde Walkerville at the beginning of the year. It is now our pizza place. Try the margherita at each place and you will know why. read more

Ok, so I'm a real nut when it comes to pizza. My wife does not care if it taste like cardboard or not but I do. I love love love wood oven pizza. The crust should be thin and crispy slightly charred and the toppings should be epic. So we visited Chatham to see my boys and decided pizza for dinner. I'm not familiar with Chatham so I went by the ratings. I ordered a large I guess because they dont have medium??? Anyway small detail, Ordered my usual, and was told it would be about half hour. That was surprising, are they not busy? Maybe the pizza is not that great for the locals, I thought uh oh I made a mistake. You cant cancel the order right? That would be rude. So I said ok and sure enough 35 minutes came and went and there she was. Poor girl from Winnipeg out in the snow delivering pizza. I bet she had to get used to the snow around here :) pleasant delivery person, she mumbled something about stupid drivers cant drive when they see a bit of snow...anyway we laughed and laughed...not really. So I gave her her money and a decent tip (I think) said merry Christmas and parted ways. Went inside and I think I know what happened on the way to our place. She must have slammed on the brakes somewhere and the pizza must have fallen on the floor. We opened the pizza to eat it and all the toppings were on one side of the pizza. We laughed and laughed...ok not really but we did put 2 and 2 together and figured that's what happened. Did that ruin the taste of the pizza? heck no! Once we put the pizza back together again, it was epic. Loved it. Awesome pizza guys, I will order again. Watch the brakes though ok? read more

Excellent Pizza- the crust is Neapolitan style, so it comes out very light and thin after baking, and is softer than some other pizza crusts I've had- but that's to be expected with this style of pizza! The crust has an excellent flavor. Pizzas come in two sizes- 7" and 14". I was able to eat an entire 14" pizza myself (I was also really hungry!) You can choose from a menu of pizzas, or "create your own" with up to four toppings. They also have gelato available, which I did not try on this visit. Fantastic pizza. The perfect crust, chewy and slightly crisp. The sauce is spot on and the toppings are fresh and great quality. 14" with chicken, carmalized onions, smoked mozzarella and Parmesan. Drizzled in olive oil and sprinkled with oregano, jalapenos are a nice addition if u like spice..PERFECTION! read more
