The food and drinks are good but overpriced for what and how much you get. The ambiance is definitely an issue as they have a low-light date night vibes but welcome screaming kids with open arms at all hours. When you read the owners rude responses to the 1 star reviews, the state of the place makes more sense. I would recommend Relli's or Looking Glass Brewing Co. for better alternatives.

Unacceptable customer service from the a manger especially when the very next girl who comes in and is upset she tells her that she will refund her money, she will leave with something, and will give her a free meal the next time she comes in. To my disappointment, neither of them was even remotely spicy. It tasted like they were prepared near some cayenne pepper. whoever seasoned it should be working at Lacroix instead. In addition to this, the pieces of chicken were very small. I put one of them on a scale and it was under 2 ounces. It really only gets worse from there. The buns they used were stale and not even toasted. The fries were undercooked and had no seasoning whatsoever. Who doesn't even put salt on their fries? The coleslaw was mid at best and tasted like someone soaked shredded cabbage in buttermilk a little bit of mustard. I got 4 dipping sauces with my order: Ranch, bastard ranch, lucky sauce, and bleu cheese. I didn't even get the bleu cheese, the ranch was nothing special, and the luck sauce was more disappointing than the last season of Game of Thrones. It tastes like honey mustard got violated by vinegar and some chili powder. I can only assume the name eludes to the restaurant being lucky that anyone would ever even order it. This place is a solid 0/10 and huge waste of money. My food was $20 and I would have been better off tearing up the money and throwing it into the wind. A McChicken dipped in buffalo sauce would be infinitely more satisfying. Order: Hot tender and slider combo with coleslaw, fries, and lucky sauce. Extra bastard ranch, bleu cheese, lucky sauce, and ranch. I also added an xx hot chicken slider.

After wondering how a restaurant could survive and be so heavily promoted on one of the areas largest food delivery and taxi services I did some homework. The Lansing MI location doesn't even exist. The food is prepared at 2800 Preyde; the same address of Champs, Eastwood shopping plaza. A convenient way to avoid accountability for such atrocious food.

The meat was also dry and the batter did not help it. The fries were stringy and limp, didn't seem cooked at all. It took a very long time to get our food and orders were served out of order to the people in line. One good thing here was the Mac and cheese bites which were three dollars and only provided two. The only pure saving grace here was the elephant trunk which was delicious and the freeze had good taste but it needs a new vessel. If this place wants to keep up with the food truck quality in Lansing it definitely needs to step up its game.

I can't remember her name, but she made sure to tell us she's been there since the hotel opened 11 years ago, and is the longest standing employee. I highly recommend you find a job outside of hospitality...I'll start from the beginning of our terrible experience with this worker. We were not aware you need an actual key to exit the parking garage. I was using my phone as a key. Your phone won't open the gate. My husband ran into the lobby to grab a key, and was met with instant attitude. Programming a key is hard work I guess...let's go to Saturday morning. The hotel puts on a beautiful breakfast. My sister in law wanted iced coffee, so she brought a hotel provided cup to the bar and asked for ice. Again, was met with an attitude from the same worker. Was told she can get ice on floors 2,4, and 6. Again, i guess giving a guest some ice is rough work. Sunday she made sure to bring her own bucket of ice down to breakfast. Now let's go to the bar. My in laws went to the bar and asked for a manhattan. Guess who's bartending? Little miss attitude! Instead of nicely explaining the cocktails are premade, and they don't have manhattans, she went on a rant about how she's supposed to run the front desk, make food, and drinks, and coffee, and do it all herself. In my opinion, this lady should not be the face of your hotel. Doing her job is too much to ask from her. She ruined our experience, and next time we come to Lansing, we will look for a different hotel where we don't feel like a nuisance to someone that's supposed to be hospitable to your guests. Brittany was amazing!! So sweet, and willing to do her job! Thank you for making us feel welcome, Brittany!

The order time to eat was also slow, even though the restaurant was not busy. High/low-top booth seating and full bar seating with lots of TVs for all types of games. Clean. Pricey for what you get. But this willpower went out the window with the sandwich I got from Mancino's. I literally did not want to stop eating it. Every bite was delicious and satisfying. The sandwiches are huge, and although I was uncomfortably full halfway through, still I pressed on because I needed that grinder in my mouth (pause). I think what makes Mancino's sandwiches so good is that they are all toasted. I think you can ask for your sandwich not toasted, but why would you? The cheese gets all melty, the bread is slightly crisp but still soft in the middle, and the whole thing is just warm and delightful. I got the BLT (bacon, lettuce, tomato), which you'd think wouldn't benefit from being toasted, but you'd be wrong! This BLT sandwich also has a mozzarella cheese blend in it, which sounds super weird for a BLT, but just go with it. I suppose you could ask for a different cheese, or no cheese at all, but you should just trust that the fine people at Mancino's know what they're doing. After all, they've been doing what they're doing since the 1930s! (According to information that I gleaned from their website. Look at me using my journalism degree.) I was able to order ahead on the phone, and they told me it would take about 15 minutes, which was perfect. When I showed up, my sandwiches were hot and ready for me. And bonus: The people who work here are incredibly friendly and efficient.
