The pizza we ordered was thin crust and it came to the table greasy as all grease. It didn't smell like pizza nor taste like it either. The manager said it looked as usual to him, said the cheese was making the pizza greasy, what? The salad bar was still good so that is all we ended up eating and leaving. Was comped the pizza and asked if we wanted to take it home- not sure why we would want to take it home to only toss in the trash. Never seen this manager before, again the ingredients changed on this place, I'm sure due to the cost of everything today they may be seeking lesser valued items and it sure tastes like it. Anyone who is a tea drinker knows that tea can go rancid and get moldy. Well this tea was NASTY. I took it up to the bar and asked to speak to a manager and told her they needed to dump and clean the tea because it was going to make someone sick. I was literally trying to help. A bit later the waitress brought out a new tea - SAME NASTY TEA! Now it wasn't the waitresses' fault since I gave it directly to the manager. Obviously the manager didn't communicate to the staff that the product had gone bad. I took it back up to the bar and, admittedly, was less happy about being served disgusting tea this time. The waitress then tells me the tea is fine that she is pregnant and drinks it often. The manager agrees and says it is cleaned daily. I asked her to go give it a try and she then tells me she doesn't drink tea. You'd think they'd simply have just dumped it if a customer told them it was moldy tasting but they continued to serve it and argue about it being fresh. It's water and tea bags for goodness sakes!

I'm disabled though and delivery is extremely expensive (The cost of the pizza I wanted would have been double). I called the Papa John's corporate customer service number, and I asked if I could order a pizza for pickup and then they would bring it out to my car for me If I drove through the store and parked my car in front. The customer service rep told me that was no problem, all I had to do is order my pizza on the app and then call the store when I showed up to get the pizza delivered out to my car for no extra cost. That seemed reasonable enough, I was even going to give the person who delivered the pizza to my car a small tip. The corporate customer service also gave me the phone number to call the store directly. It was 3:00 a.m. on December 5th btw. After I hung up with the corporate customer service, I decided to call the store just to make sure it was okay with them. I asked The person that answered at their store if I could order my pizza and pay for it in the app And then call them and tell them when I was outside So they could bring the pizza out to me and put it in the car. THEY SAID IT WOULD MOST LIKELY BE TOO BUSY TO DO THAT WHEN I WANTED TO PICK UP THE PIZZA. So they refused. I decided to call Little Caesars in Kankakee, and they said they would have no issue with bringing the pizza out to me as long as I called them when I arrived. The pizza was also $1 cheaper at Little Caesars, and the quality was about the same, as well as the toppings. I'm familiar with the taste difference of Papa John's versus Little Caesars as well ( I know what to expect from Papa John's; It definitely isn't my favorite place to locally to order pizza, but the deal was decent, and I wanted to try something different) I was more than happy with the pizza got from Little Caesars and the service was a thousand times better than the service I got from Papa John's; That place will definitely be crossed off my list permanently because i felt that they were being lazy and losing my service because of it). All in all, I was actually kind of happy that Papa John's treated me like crap because I was more than satisfied with my Pizza from Little Caesars, and their pizza had stuffed crust, And the pizza from Papa John's would not have.
