We talked so highly of this place and suggested them to our friends and it ended up being a complete flop.

So for whatever reason my apple pay off my phone was not going through on the machine. I forgot my wallet at home. Absolutely did not have to do that, but that simple gesture goes a long way with me. No matter how small you may think it is, simple acts of kindness resonate immensely with some folk. I'm some folk. I greatly appreciate that.

The cheese was not melted and the toppings were not cooked. And it was very soggy in the middle. If gas wasn't so expensive I would take it back for a refund. This is a sorry "hurry up I have shit to do" pizza. Very disappointed. UPDATE -- Returned pizza (gas be damned) -- They eventually exchanged it for a plain pepperoni and wings. But only after I had to argue with the manager that the pizza was not cooked all the way and that additional toppings shouldn't make the pizza soggy (she said soggy middle was normal). : 0 So I went from 1 star to 2 stars. The pizza that was in the display case looked to have been sitting for some time and when we asked if we could have fresh pizza the staff said they'd have to make a whole new pie and that would take some time and besides, the pizza that was in the case was just brought out. So, we just got the pizza that was there (not under a warmer btw). We waited another 10 minutes for them to take the pizza from the case and reheat it in the oven. The pizza itself was a disappointment. I couldn't eat it. The tables were so disgusting, some with crumbs and dead bugs! First, I'll explain what I do or don't like as far as pizza. I prefer a medium crust, not too thin,…read morenot too thick, although I can go thin or thick on occasion, but mostly, medium. I don't like a ton of cheese. Too much cheese is just a gooey mess and slide off the pizza. I DO like a sauce seasoned well with Italian spices (Dion's is a good example). Most sauces have a pinch or two of sugar, I do not like a real sugary sauce (Dominos is a good example of too much sugar!). I DO like pizzas that seem like homemade dough. What I got at Marcos - A medium crust pizza with that homemade dough taste (you can smell the dough as soon as you walk in) with the right amount of cheese, and their sauce wasn't real sugary. So that's good. What I didn't like was there was not very much pepperoni on the pizza. The sauce was ok, but not as good as Dion's. So overall, it was good, not the best pizza I've ever had, but it was good.

This Jersey Mike's experience was honestly disappointing from start to finish. First, it took…read moreforever just to place my order because two employees were busy talking behind the counter while people were waiting in line. When they finally helped me, I clearly said I wanted turkey and mayo on bread, but they kept repeating "#7 Mike's Way" instead of simply listening to what I was asking for. What really bothered me was seeing the sandwiches being placed on receipt paper instead of the counter or cutting boards. That seemed extremely unsanitary, especially considering receipt paper contains BPA and shouldn't be in direct contact with food. Then at checkout, I mentioned they had run out of pink lemonade and asked if I could just grab a Gatorade instead after already spending $45 on three sandwiches. The cashier looked at the other employee, they stared at each other awkwardly, and one of them said, "I'm not doing it." The other finally rolled her eyes and said, "Just give it to her." The whole experience felt unprofessional and uncomfortable, like customers were inconveniencing the staff just by being there. This location seriously needs higher standards when it comes to customer service and food handling.
