It was good, but my God it was salty lol I was a bit sad in the amount of anchovies that were on the pizza as well. Was hoping for a good amount Had a mead before the meal that was tasty as well, just not a fan of the half pour, since it's treated like a wine. My friend got the 3 taco plate. She loved it. We were visiting family in the area and decided to go here again. This time was a DISASTER of an experience. The pizzas are still good. We had Coreys Fav and the Sweet and Spicy, both were really great. Flavors are good and the crust is nice. Seating wasn't bad, weather was great for a late June day, the large doors were open in the seating area, a nice breeze blowing. ... some really nice ambience. Where this goes horribly south is the LARGE automatic gratuity that they decided to impose on us because we had 7 adults and 1 infant at the same table, even tho we came in 3 separate groups and paid as 3 separate groups. 20% they wanted to charge us, not the state define 15%. Both of which I think is both unethical and not right in any way, as a gratuity is supposed to be based on the level of service received and not as an automatic supplement because the business doesn't want to pay the employees adequate wages. The service we received WAS NOT worth anywhere near even the 15% the state recommends. The server takes the order, and delivers the order, the same as any fast food chain. We had to get our own water and drinks. They don't stop to ask if we want anything else, refills, more cider/beer, desert, NOTHING! Yet they want to auto bill a gratuity of 20% for services that are NOT rendered. We did talk to the server, and he said that's how it was and there was nothing he could do. So we asked for the manager. She finally came and said she could remove it but it would take a while. However, all she did was provide a discount to lower the price to "compensate" for the gratuity, which wasn't a total discount, as it was still 88 cents more than the original bill, AND the auto gratuity was still in the bill! Ok, guess who didn't get any extra tips. So this server got his normal hourly rate, we were there roughly an hour, as well as an additional $30 + in auto gratuity to simply take an order and have someone else deliver it, he did absolutely nothing else for us to earn that level of gratuity. Keep in mind, we were NOT a group of 8 as the small print on the menu states. This was very aggravating and very unprofessional. read more

Surprisingly, my kids are picky even when it comes to Pizza. This place did not disappoint the kiddos. Great food, great service and just a lot of fun people doing karaoke in the back room. We came on a busy night and we had to wait for 20-30 minutes. During that time I hung up by the fire outside and met some great people. Seems like people come back here every year, cloudcroft is a destination where families meet up during the holidays. Not a great place if you're planning on having a couple beers and driving back to town, it's on a twisted mountain road. Nice atmosphere, outdoor picnic tables. Indoor tables also off you prefer. We sat outside. Ordered an house salad and a pepperoni pizza. Both were good and expensive. The pizza was about 12 inch diameter but really good. The pizza is quality, they do a good job. My wife and I split everything and were full, not stuffed, but full. I do like the outside dining area and apparently they have live entertainment at night, there is a stage and the inside is open to the outside via a large opening to view the raised stage. It's a large space and it looks like they have a small stage for live performances. They have plenty of beers to choose from so we shared a few flights and were able to try most of them. They have a few guest beers as well. What better to complement your beer than with a pizza, and theirs are great. A very busy brewery and restaurant. They don't serve very much food, their menu was one page. I think that means they focus more on the beers they offer. We showed up early so we could play games in their brewery area as we wait but they told us we couldn't do that because we had a newborn. (Kinda dumb in my opinion, the kids had to wait outside in the cold, but I get the law). We were already on the waiting list for a table so we didn't have to wait that much longer. Our waitress was kind & fast. We ordered 4 pizzas and I tried two of them. I don't really recommend the pizza; the Greek one tasted odd, had too much pesto, and the Margarita one had way too much cheese & burnt the basil. But my family liked the other two, the Corey & the sweet & salty pizza. My sister who lives in New Mexico made it seem like this was the hopping place to be, which explained why it was so busy for a small town. Stopped by on a Sunday just for noon, not too busy. Only had the beer, so take this review with a grain of barley! Plenty of indoor seating, some outdoor seating, and a bar area. Sat at the bar, and the bartender working was very nice. I got the flight of beer. They do add a 50 cent surcharge for a guest brews (which I found unusual). I got three house brews of orange blossom mead, train wreck IPA, orange peel IPA, and a guest brew PB pecan porter. Unfortunately, I did not like any of the house brews, which was surprising to me. However, the PB pecan porter was great. Overall, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, but the beer was not great. Didn't try any of the food, but was disappointed by their house brews. I will start by saying: The wait staff is great, the ambiance is wonderful, as to the food, I won't ever eat there again. Reason, I have an allergy to peppers. It's not a common allergy. So if you are allergic to peppers, you might want to think again before you partake at this establishment. The menu had a fabulous selection. BUT, the only thing on the menu without peppers was the cheesy bread it consisted of pizza dough and mozzarella cheese. Bland but edible. Everything else they serve with the exception of the beer, mead, tea, sodas ... etc... has some sort of peppers cooked into it. Jalapeño, reapers, bell, etc... It was extremely disappointing in the fact that I was told they were absolutely unable to make adjustments to anything they served to accommodate someone with food allergies. So if you suffer from food allergies, especially to peppers, you might want to avoid this establishment altogether, unless you just like eating cheesy bread. read more

Another great experience at CBC! Only the second time here, but I'm always pleased with the beers And the pizza here For me anyways, the beer was cold and delicious. If I had more time, I would have had more. Thank you Hanna for taking care of us, despite all the musical chairs. You got me my beers and got our order out quickly. Chris Baker was excellent live entertainment for the evening. We sat in the big hall for a bit, Nd I thought his originals and covers were fantastic! CBC always invites great talent. We enjoyed the Greek, which had olives and artichokes and spinach on a pesto like sauces pizza. The Zia had chorizo tomato and cilantro (had a little bit of a kick). I live their dough. If I were to add a tip, is to see if they can add a hot honey pepperoni to the menu. It's easy and a fan favorite of most. Wow! What a cool place is a very cool town! We were visiting and this was recommended by a local. It was a great choice! Super cool indoor and outdoor atmosphere. Brewery and restaurant on one side, then a small space for the distillery. We ordered pizza and cheesy bread. It was super good!! I got sausage, chorizo and bacon! One of the few places open to eat dinner on a Saturday night in November. We actually walked up the hill to this great place. There was an hour wait but many choices at the bar to check out while listening to live music. The salad is great sized and we shared it. The pizza is one size only and wood fired. In this case it was mostly screamo metal which seemed laughably incongruent with the clientele for lunch on Thursday. To their credit , I guess, it was not overly loud , but just loud enough to be intrusive.I asked about eating outside, but it was not an option yet, although I think they could have accommodated us. Went to the town of Cloudcroft after exploring White Sands National Park and the Space museum Hall of Fame in Alamogordo New Mexico. Cloudcroft is high altitude in the mountains at I think 9000 feet. (Kinda feels like Tahoe in California). This pizza restaurant was highly recommended by everyone encountered on our tours in Alamogordo. Wow! This restaurant has excellent staff who greeted and seated us upon our arrival. There are several craft beers on tap with flavors to please any beer drinker as well as hard ciders for those who like them. The pizza is thin crust (which isn't my liking), but oh.... the ones we ordered tasted excellent. You can build your own, or order their listed ones. We ordered the "Zia" and the "Greek" pizzas. Both tasted really good and paird well with the beers we ordered. Two pizzas are enough for four adults to share and not leave hungry. Oh, by the way, while it was in the high 90's in Alamogordo, it was in the high 40's in Cloudcroft. They are currently building an outside patio for fair weather dining. We came here after a nice hike on a good day. What a perfect ending! When we arrived, it was a bustling Sunday but there was still plenty of parking. This eatery is situated just off of the main roadway and wasn't hard to find. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a warm welcome and to the pleasant smells of delicious food! Most of the inside is wooden and there's a mural painted in the back of the restaurant. It's very inviting and has that "home" feel. Our server was prompt but also gave us the time we needed to decide on what we wanted. She checked back in frequently and was so sweet! I got the New England clam chowder and my husband and I shared the Cory. The clam chowder was to die for! It wasn't too overpowering on the clam side and just the perfect meld of all of the flavors. As a native New Yorker, this wood fired pizza is hands down the best I've had since leaving the East Coast many moons ago! The crust was so delicious! For the first time, I waited 85 minutes for a table and didn't subsequently question my life choices. I have been to many breweries and in my experience, the food is often much better than the overpriced craft brews. Not this time. Not only was the pizza unbelievable, but the beer far exceeded our expectations. I had the blackberry‍ or something cider. It was PERFECT! Not too sweet and very refreshing. I also tried my friends Peanut Butter Porter. WOW! It tasted almost like a Sweet and Smooth Irish Car Bomb. We had a whole mess of kids at our table (that's a different "life choices" story.) Cloudcroft Brewing Company is a very cool brewery in Cloudcroft, New Mexico, located on Burro Avenue behind the Fire and Rescue Station, not within walking distance from the main tourist village area. I visited on Labor Day; my party of five and I waited 30 minutes to be sited. They had enough tables but not enough servers (which I have heard is a Nationwide issue). Waiting was not bad because the weather and scenery outside were lovely. The brewery has an artsy cabin flare, and service was outstanding; Brittany, our waitress, gave us great suggestions and had the best smile. We ordered four different pizzas and three house salads; We loved them all. Two people at my party had beer, but I ordered a bottle of wine, and I wish I could have purchased bottles to go because I absolutely loved it (El Cabron Viejo Red Blend). We try to avoid this place because it lacks customer service. We had some friends visiting and we decided to take them for pizza and beer. We had to wait for an hour for a table, another hour to get the pizza and another 40 to eat. We wasted some much of our time here just waiting. The pizza is ok but, the wait time is frustrating for anyone. Some staff is friendly and some are rude. No body is smiling because everyone is frustrated. Instead of expanding the place they needed an additional oven. It takes 7 minutes to cook a pizza! Have a nice meal at another place and enjoy your meal. read more
