Lame, employees gate-keep the receipts like they're shareholders in LC. They're in the little trash can right behind the counter, where they throw away 99% of peoples receipts. Only a couple cool bros in here, rest of the staff bunch of haters. Just let the gamers have the codes man, the receipts are going in the trash anyway. Bought a pie one day just to at least get a receipt code for Black Ops 7, and the young lady working register just crumpled it up and throws it away without giving it to me. I had to literally tell her that the receipt was my only reason for purchase & she begrudgingly took the receipt back out of the trash and uncrumpled it to give it to me. Came here for lunch sat outside from 11-12 noon , no one's at the store so I called customer service they said just try back in 20 min I feel as if the hot and ready slogan only applies when the company wants to hire employees who care enough to open on time so others who work are able to find something to eat or find another place to eat. There's a few people out front so it almost looks is if there people getting service and then you realize everyone is waiting to get food from them while they're closed. Worst experience ever. Looked forward to enjoying a cheese deep dish pizza for lunch. What I got was just ridiculous. I got some bread with dried sauce on top, no cheese (the main part), and what looks to be pieces of pepperoni plucked off. They had me wait over 15 minutes for the order, which I would have understood if I received the correct item. Drove back and the employee was unapologetic. After speaking to a manager, I was told that I couldn't get a new pizza to replace my pieces of sad bread. So happy they reopened under new ownership! They have decent pizza at affordable prices. They just opened this past Wednesday and the staff was very friendly but definitely new and still learning so it's important to keep that in mind and be patient with them. This place has been shut down now for a while with a handwritten sign that changed from "no debit cards cash only" to being fully closed and "no truck delivery" or "no cheese". I think this guy got shut down either by the feds or the health board. Too bad. That Detroit style pizza, especially the deep deep dish is great pizza for $9. If you order online, usually works just fine although website is not totally user friendly. Pretzel crust is offered but could t tell if all pizzas can be made with pretzel crust. Wanted my whole order on pizza crust. Had to call to find out. If you order by phone, you will get a call center, staffed by people who don't speak clear English, speak very fast and seem to be working on volume instead of customer service. I stop by here about once every-other week or so. This review has three parts: The food is always good. OK, it's not the best pizza I've had, but it's good and ready on time. So I would give the food at least 4 stars. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They smile, ask how I'm doing, and always say thanks. That all goes a long way. I give the staff at least 4 stars as well. Now, we need to talk about the franchisee...the store is frequently out of things, particularly to make the cinnamon bites. Sometimes they run out of the icing. Sometimes it's the cinnamon itself. More often, though, they run out of the little boxes they need to make the dish. This is not the fault of the staff. It's in no way a bad reflection on the quality of the food. This goes back to 100% the fault of the franchise owner. Having owned many franchises myself over the years, I know of what I speak. This guy needs a LONG talking-to by corporate, ending in something like, "...and if you can't figure out how to order to keep things in stock, then we'll pull your franchise a week from Tuesday..." But that brings up another problem...three letters to Little Caesar's corporate offices have resulted in NO replies. So maybe corporate doesn't care? Anyway, the franchisee gets -4 stars. Not sure if it's a good thing but I come here enough they know me by name. We frequent the location in Alpine about once a week and out pizza is always "Hot and Ready"! We phone in our order since we do 1/2 and 1/2 normally and it is just that, "Hot and Ready"! Thr staff is super nice and the location is always clean and welcoming. Ordered the mosta pizza 1/2 sausage 1/2 pepperoni. I called it in so I wouldn't have to wait. Was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Made it there in about 12 minutes. Pizza was not ready, it will only take a few...it looked like they were just starting to make it. 10 plus minutes later it was ready and WRONG!!! 1/2 sausage 1/2 cheese. Historically Little Caesar's has made one of my favorite pizzas. In San Diego county they were closed for a long time because one man owned all of the franchises and he got sideways legally somehow. So I was happy to find a store here in Alpine when we moved. However... The staff do not seem up to the task. And this is consistent throughout every time I have visited which,as of today, has been 6 to 8 times over the past seven months. This evening when I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, the young man at the counter told me it was $6:45. So I gave him a $20, and he couldn't figure out how to make change. So I gave him seven dollars thinking that it would ease his burden. Nope. He gave me my $20 back and then tried to give me another $13 as if he were deducting seven dollars from $20. I finally had to help him figure out what the correct amount of change would be. He was embarrassed. I felt badly for him. I'm not sure who manages the store, but if you ever read this... One of the cheapest places to feed a family of 5. Costco food court is prolly the only place less expensive. The pizza is good, not greasy like Pizza Hut (not to mention horrifically over priced). I've only purchased their hot and ready $5 pepperoni and occasionally sausage. Their pizza has always been a little greasy no matter which location I've purchased from, but still tasty. I guess I like a little grease! Anyway, most of the time they have pizzas ready in the box, but sometimes they don't keep track and customers have to wait 10-20 minutes to run them thru. I've seen the trays full of dough ready for toppings, but they, again, seem to loose track of what's going on around them.
