These guys are always great, I usually order on the phone and then go pick it up, which is what happened today. I've been starving for one of their pizzas, well, the one in particular, my meat, lovers, thin crust with extra sauce and extra black olives. Perfect for Super Bowl parties ! Came here to buy a big pizza for football gathering. I ordered their huge 28' pizza and wings. The pizza I got was full Jalapeños, half chicken & half beef. The wings I got were lemon pepper and buffalo! This easily fed 10 ppl. Highly recommend for huge events. Price not bad! You won't beat for big gatherings. For myself I came back the next day with my buddy and we shared the white pizza and a Philly cheesesteak. The cashier Wally was helpful with my order. No. The best Greek salad? No. The best garlic bread? No. Although they might not be the best, they are all quite good. Listen, we're talking quantity over quality here. Where else are you going to get a 20" two-topping pizza, Greek salad and garlic bread for 25 bucks delivered? When I called in the order I was told it would be 45 minutes to an hour. The delivery guy showed up in about 30 minutes. Our order was prepared as we asked (well done pizza) and it was correct (pepperoni and sausage). The pizza was good. The Greek salad was the star of the show. Lots of Feta cheese and black olives with dressing on the side. The garlic bread did not disappoint either. This was a lot of food. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but it's also not the worst. It's just basic average pizza. My work ordered pizza for a party here today and I tried a slice of pepperoni. Our order was called a few hours in advance, so whoever made the pizzas made them way too early cause they were cold by the time they got to us. There's only a 5 minute drive between our work and this place, so they must have been sitting out. Again, not terrible, but not great. read more

I have eaten here in the past and it was great. The giant pizza we ordered tonight was obviously sitting for a while like it was an order that never got picked up. Due to the covid 19 outbreak they were bringing carry out orders to the cars waiting in the parking lot. When they called to let us know ours was ready we were already in the parking lot. I got my husband hooked the Giant Pizza King pizza! I stumbled across this pizza chain at work. As an admin coordinator, I was preparing to order lunch for a meeting and one one out of the two days, staff wanted pizza. So I searched using ezcatering and found Giant Pizza King in La Jolla. The owner personally came to greet me and gave me more than I even ordered. He was the kindest man and he really gave us a full layout of food in addition to the pizza and drinks. The owner was very generous and the food was a success! The first thing to go was the veggie pizza! It was so good. I had previously ordered from here via Eat24 and had no problems. The one hour wait is a bit much but I was willing to overlook that. Today I ordered, again through Eat24, and after waiting an hour my order was delivered wrong. I ordered a philly steak sandwich with no cheese and no mushrooms and also asked the bread to be toasted. Each of my special instructions were disregarded. I called the restaurant to either get another sandwich or a refund and the person on the phone claimed he made the sandwich himself and didn't put mushrooms. He also claimed that my other requests were not present on my order. I have an email confirmation stating otherwise. He offered another sandwich but it would be another hour before I got it. I asked for a refund instead and he rudely stated that I had to go through Eat24. So much for customer service read more

I have visited this place a few times, nothing notably discouraging to date. A few nights ago we ordered for a pick up. I was.told 20 minutes. (Took about 35) Ordered a "works pizza" aka meat lovers. The pizza dough was soggy and the cheese tasted rubbery. I prefer cheese that is light and almost creamy when melted. I was less than satisfied :( We also ordered a greek salad which seemed to be lacking in toppings. The chicken nuggets I ordered for the kids were just okay. I'm giving 2 *s because they offer something semi kid friendly. I also saw homemade lasagna on the menu but didn't get the chance to order it. read more
