The food was absolutely phenomenal, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite. The drinks were top-tier = strong, flavorful, and perfectly crafted! On top of everything, the service was outstanding and made the entire experience even better with Gabe. It's rare to find a place that gets everything right, from the food and drinks to the atmosphere and service. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Each one somehow better than the last. I especially love the elote, the margherita, and the hot honey. They start you off with meatballs and salad, and then the feast begins. Save room for dessert, because the Nutella pizza is divine. Great bar too. The raspberry lemon drop martini is my usual. Service is impeccable across the board, and the servers are good about pacing so you're not buried in pizza before you've made it through the first round. I forgot to take pictures because I was busy stuffing my face, which is a great problem to have.

Just 1 mile south of Belt Line is New York Pizza Pasta & Subs, and before you think this is just another quick-serve pizza place, you need to give this place a try. Yes, they do serve pizza-by-the-slice at lunchtime for those that want a quick lunch, but they are much, much more. Perusing the menu, you'll find a large selection of Italian favorites such as Parmigiana, Chicken Piccata, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Penne Arrabbiata. Several Salads, Seafood Dishes like Linguini & Clams and Shrimp & Mussels Fra Diavolo, and of course, fine desserts such as Cannoli, Spumoni, Creme Brulee and, my favorite, Tiramisu! They also have a kids menu, as well as Gluten-Free Pizza and Pasta. There's a full bar, including many specialty drinks to pair nicely with whatever meal you choose. The service is excellent, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable, with indoor and covered outdoor seating, and the pricing is affordable. This is definitely a go-to for a nice Italian meal.

This is the first time I've had this salad drizzled with balsamic vinegar and it works. The sweetness and little acids of the balsamic vinegar compliments the blue cheese real well. As for my pizza, it was good but nothing that wowed me. It was still a decent pie. Staff checked in at the right moment and kept drinks filled. The restaurant has an open dining layout perfect for big group of diners and families with kids. They also have a small bar area perfect for patrons wanting to unwind while.

This was the only 'standard' item of the meal. Entree, had the Creamy Mushroom Tortellini with Veggies ($3.25 addition, charred broccoli, tomatoes, extra mushrooms). You can get Alfredo or a creamy tomato sauce. I asked the owner's recommendation, he said creamy tomato, I went with that. Oh sweet mama.... C-H-E-F-S K-I-S-S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could not fathom it would be a top tier of all time Italian dish. Totally not expecting, and totally blown out of the water. So much so, I told a buddy who lives 3 hours from Dallas, he & his kids could make a Saturday road trip just to eat a meal here & it would be worth it... I'm visiting from out of state (lived in DFW ten yrs prior), this was a fantastic surprise on the visit. If I'm back in DFW at any point, this will be on the extremely short list while visiting.

There were tons of people outside and I never heard of a restaurant closing the patio so early on a Friday. We were seated and it took well over 15 mins before the hostess came back and offered to get us waters while we waited for our server. The server came and she asked for our drink and appetizer orders, she then asked for our dinner orders as well because "the kitchen was really backed up" since we had sat there long enough to have read the menu u several times, we were able to order, assuming the food would be staggered. Wrong. The appetizer came out, we got the crab and Parmesan dip, it was ok, a little runny for my liking but the flavor was good. After one bite of the app, our entrees came out. The server looked at our table and said "wow the kitchen is really on top of it" so which is it? Backed up? Or on top of it? My wife ordered the crispy fish sandwich and I had the salmon and blue crab. I got the broccolini and she got the mac and cheese. We both got broccolini, we flagged down our server and let her know she got the wrong side and we still didn't have our drinks. She eventually came back with the drinks and another server showed up with the Mac and cheese as we were almost done with the meal. The Mac and cheese was the same sauce as the crab dip! Runny and just "ok" nothing exciting. The entrees were bad, the salmon was grilled well, but everything was kind of bland. Overall the experience was just "meh" for a $100 meal. I didn't hate it, but didn't love it.
