Came here seeing all of the great reviews on a rainy afternoon to get a quick lunch while at Bridgeport. Love that location is close to a covered seating area. You can order then grab a table to sit at while you wait. The wait time was a little longer than I would have liked but that's just me being in a rush. Now for the food. I appreciate the foil package that makes this easy to eat without making a giant mess. The burro is rolled tight and cooked to seal in all of the fillings. Now for the not so good part. If this was Mexican food, it didn't taste like it. It was all around pretty bland. A burrito from Chipotle has more flavor. Maybe they are trying to appeal to the masses that shop at Bridgeport by keeping the flavor light? Or maybe I hit them on a bad day? The food options at Bridgeport are lacking so I may find myself here again when needing a lunch option. Maybe the next time my experience will be better.

Hand burrito to go. Barbacoa. $9.

Second time here and still delicious! I don't usually buy chips and salsa but these for $3.50 are a great value. Warm chips and savory salsa. Well worth a visit!

This was a cute and convenient lunch spot in the center of Bridgeport Village. Food was good. My only complaint is that I was overcharged on the tip. I will have to reach out to the store after the payment settles with my bank account.

Perfect handheld burrito. Kind a mix between a burrito and a quesadilla, the cheese was melted and delicious! The food service was fast, perfect lunch for on the go!

little burro is a cute little stall nestled in bridgeport. they're unique in that they serve juarez style burritos. order up at the booth and they'll hand you a buzzer. food was done at a reasonable time! we came here for lunch on a nice afternoon and ordered the asada and carnitas little burros. both meats were flavorful and worked well with the rest of the fillings. we also tried the papas stack, which were essentially loaded fries. its a good stop to fuel up for shopping, but otherwise, the prices were a bit high for the amount given. understandably though, this style of burrito is supposed to be thinner.

Little Burro is a super cool little booth restaurant in Bridgeport. Located next to one of the new pavilions, it operators with a buzzer system to let you know when your order is ready. The menu is pretty simple with largely handheld burritos, but SHOOT. It was really good. And it was under $10?! When was the last time I had lunch for under $10?! Unreal. They've done a great job with their branding and they provided a delicious burrito to fuel our shopping experience. Come snag one and try it next time you're down in Bridgeport!

I was very surprised with the quality of this food! It definitely surpassed my expectations. My favorite thing off the menu had to be the Mexican fry's. It seemed a little pricey but was delicious. It was like fry's with cheese, peppers, and more delicious stuff. I would recommend if you were shopping around the area or out with friends for lunch.

    Half a asada burrito.

Service was nonexistent. I stood at the order area for 15minutes while two employees ignored me, no hi hello, just said what do you want. Then tells me they are out of chips. When I got my "taquito" it was tossed at me and then no napkins no offer of salsa or plasticware. The food: I got half a burrito. Seriously, it looks like a taquito it's so skinny. See image. Sad.

Great for mall food. I removed one star as the tipping system is beyond overly aggressive.

I was originally going to go to taco bell (what a mistake that would have been). I saw this as I was driving by and thought I should give it a try. The beef tacos came out wonderfully like little steak bites in corn shells. Just the right amount of spice and veggies. I will definitely stop back when I'm in the Tigard area as this was just to tasty to pass up again. They do have indoor dining too I just didn't stop inside. So, I cannot comment on the ambiance of the dining room. Don't pass this one up.

Their breakfast burritos are tasty, simple, and while sometimes inconsistent, are still a nice warm meal first thing on a Saturday. However, in the last few months, every time I enter, there's a Sonos speaker that is playing music ON BLAST. It's been in a few different locations; over the condiment bar, or behind the register near the kitchen, and at such a volume that I could barely hear the employee at the register, and I had to raise my voice to be heard by them. Additionally, the employee that normally works the register does the bare minimum you would expect for someone taking your order at a register. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. I get my order out in in a timely manner, but I get the sense that, while this is a family-run restaurant, they're not necessarily including their patrons as part of that family. I think their main challenge is their drive thru. They seem to have one person working the register, drive thru, and handling incoming phone orders the majority of the times I've come in. I'll never skip out on this place, but I avoid dining in anymore. You don't come for the vibes or service, really just a quick and tasty meal.

When we walked in for a Sunday dinner, we were greeted with the smell of roasting chicken and charcoal, a promising sign from the very start. It was pretty busy inside, but after ordering at the counter, the food only took about 15 minutes to arrive. Whole Chicken Meal ($27.74) - The meal comes with two 12 oz sides, an 8oz salsa, and either corn or flour tortillas. For the sides we went with the classic Mexican Rice and the Refried Beans. Both are pretty standard stuff from a Mexican restaurant. The rice is tender with still distinct grains, has an reddish color from tomatoes, and adds a scant amount of veggies mixed through. The beans are mostly smooth throughout, fatty and creamy. We went with the corn tortillas, of which they provide a whole stack of twelve, warmed until steaming, making them hot, soft, and pliable, perfect to eat with the chicken and sides. The chicken is legitimately amazing. Basically the entire restaurant smells like chicken fat being charred over mesquite. It's a mesmerizing smell that made me salivate upon walking in. The chicken is whole roasted with the dark meat and wings being cooked until succulent and juicy. The interior of the breasts are a bit dry, but there's not much that can be done with this cooking method! Otherwise, the char is excellent, creating an almost crust-like nature to the skin and the spice mix imbues a yellow glow to the entire tray. They give so much food that we only finished perhaps a quarter of it. We ended up bringing the rest home on our drive up the next day and ate it for another couple of meals. (5/5) I especially love their salsa bar off to the side of the main counter. There's so much variety, there's surely something to please anyone. They have a mild tomato, a mild but smoky, a spicy and fruity, a green tangy tomatillo, a creamy avocado, a crunchy fresh pico de gallo, a smoky and spicy, and a tangy and spicy salsa - basically all combinations someone could ask for. Even the spiciest additions are still very tolerable to my tastes. We were impressed enough to visit again the next day for lunch: Supreme Burrito al Pastor ($14.37) - This is hefty burrito, almost Mission-sized, being around 4 inch in diameter with the weight to match. It's first filled with plenty of Mexican rice, same as with the meal. For some reason, this time, the rice is hard and tough, like they had reached down to scrape the bottom of the rice cooker. It would likely be the most coveted portion of rice in a tagine or clay pot, but in a burrito, the toughness doesn't work well. On top of the rice are the refried beans, spooned over intermittently. It adds creaminess and fat to the otherwise dry exterior layers. Then the layer of meat begins - cubed pork, marinated in a savory and sweet sauce, then mixed up with chopped pineapples. It's more adobada than al pastor, and is on the sweeter end of things with the pineapple. The spice mixture isn't the most notable; they definitely focus on the chicken at El Jefe vs. the pork. Veggies, including lettuce and a pico de gallo mix cover the meat, followed by thinly shredded cheese and sour cream, which is thick and rich, perhaps more resembling crema than cream, and some guacamole, tangy and fatty. It's not the most even application - for example, the guac only covers one end of the burrito while the sour cream covers the other end. (4/5) I have to say, the chicken served at EL Jefe Grill is perfection. I would revisit just for that. Bathrooms - Two unisex rooms Note: El Jefe charges a 2.9% credit card fee. This is displayed at the register, but they have their POS set up incorrectly. Firstly, they lump the cost into the menu item instead of separating it out into a fee. Secondly, they actually charge a random fee rather than 2.9%. For example, the whole chicken meal is 3.1% and the supreme burrito is 2.7%. Very bizarre. I reported it to their management so hopefully it gets fixed soon.
