Came here seeing all of the great reviews on a rainy afternoon to get a quick lunch while at Bridgeport. Love that location is close to a covered seating area. You can order then grab a table to sit at while you wait. The wait time was a little longer than I would have liked but that's just me being in a rush. Now for the food. I appreciate the foil package that makes this easy to eat without making a giant mess. The burro is rolled tight and cooked to seal in all of the fillings. Now for the not so good part. If this was Mexican food, it didn't taste like it. It was all around pretty bland. A burrito from Chipotle has more flavor. Maybe they are trying to appeal to the masses that shop at Bridgeport by keeping the flavor light? Or maybe I hit them on a bad day? The food options at Bridgeport are lacking so I may find myself here again when needing a lunch option. Maybe the next time my experience will be better.

This was a cute and convenient lunch spot in the center of Bridgeport Village. Food was good. My only complaint is that I was overcharged on the tip. I will have to reach out to the store after the payment settles with my bank account.

Hand burrito to go. Barbacoa. $9.

Second time here and still delicious! I don't usually buy chips and salsa but these for $3.50 are a great value. Warm chips and savory salsa. Well worth a visit!

Perfect handheld burrito. Kind a mix between a burrito and a quesadilla, the cheese was melted and delicious! The food service was fast, perfect lunch for on the go!

little burro is a cute little stall nestled in bridgeport. they're unique in that they serve juarez style burritos. order up at the booth and they'll hand you a buzzer. food was done at a reasonable time! we came here for lunch on a nice afternoon and ordered the asada and carnitas little burros. both meats were flavorful and worked well with the rest of the fillings. we also tried the papas stack, which were essentially loaded fries. its a good stop to fuel up for shopping, but otherwise, the prices were a bit high for the amount given. understandably though, this style of burrito is supposed to be thinner.

I was very surprised with the quality of this food! It definitely surpassed my expectations. My favorite thing off the menu had to be the Mexican fry's. It seemed a little pricey but was delicious. It was like fry's with cheese, peppers, and more delicious stuff. I would recommend if you were shopping around the area or out with friends for lunch.

Little Burro is a super cool little booth restaurant in Bridgeport. Located next to one of the new pavilions, it operators with a buzzer system to let you know when your order is ready. The menu is pretty simple with largely handheld burritos, but SHOOT. It was really good. And it was under $10?! When was the last time I had lunch for under $10?! Unreal. They've done a great job with their branding and they provided a delicious burrito to fuel our shopping experience. Come snag one and try it next time you're down in Bridgeport!

    Half a asada burrito.

Service was nonexistent. I stood at the order area for 15minutes while two employees ignored me, no hi hello, just said what do you want. Then tells me they are out of chips. When I got my "taquito" it was tossed at me and then no napkins no offer of salsa or plasticware. The food: I got half a burrito. Seriously, it looks like a taquito it's so skinny. See image. Sad.

the small amount of sour cream we PAID for

service wasn't there. she didn't speak to us until we started to speak. she didn't say anything about asking how our day was or about sides/side sauces. when we asked for extra sour cream she charged us for it but in the container there was the smallest amount of sour cream.. when we received the food she didn't say a thank you or anything. all she said to us was bye. customer service skills are clearly lacking. don't recommend. salsa was very bland and tastes like nothing.

Great for mall food. I removed one star as the tipping system is beyond overly aggressive.

Don't let the outside confuse you like it did me. Walking in they had tables with booths and it looked like they had a second room that had a tv that was showing sports on it. Everyone that worked there was very friendly. We took our seats and were served chips and salsa, they both tasted okay, I do like my chips warm, these were not. The person I was with really liked them though, the salsa could've used more flavor for my taste. I ordered the Chile Verde Burrito. The server warned me the sauce was much more spicy that day, but I was happy to hear that. The carnitas was very flavorful and the verde sauce was just right for me. The tortilla it was wrapped in was very good too, I would've liked the cheese on top to be melted though. All in all I would definitely come back and try some more dishes, I really enjoyed my burrito.

El Jefe Grill (Spanish for "the boss") isn't just another Mexican place for you to ignore, this is the real deal for street tacos and their signature fresh, mesquite grilled chicken. El Jefe opens at 8 am to tempt the breakfast crowd with giant burritos filled with bacon, sausage or chorizo. Come back for lunch and try the Taqueria side of the menu, all house made with fresh, quality ingredients, diverse fillings (birria, chicken, lengua, carnitas, al pastor (my personal fave) and even tripa). Along with flavorful salsas at the amazing salsa bar, El Jefe's preparation is simple and authentic. Our first visit we ordered the Whole Chicken Meal combo ($24): a whole perfectly seasoned and grilled chicken (cut up after grilling) with two sides and a pile of corn tortillas. We chose whole pinto beans & guacamole and chips. The chicken was fresh and we got one just off the grill. Juicy, tender, with perfectly charred skin. The whole beans were good but needed some seasoning, as did the guacamole. Plus we had enough for leftovers the next day. You order at the counter from the menu up on the wall. The place is small with a few tables inside but the outside seating area is covered and has heaters. I noted that the plastic panels can be removed for summertime when the weather is perfect for sitting outside. Everything is clean. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There's a small merch area where you can get an El Jefe T-shirt, travel mug or ball cap. Entrance is level, ADA accessible with no stairs or steps and your doggos are welcome in the outdoor area. Parking is easy and right outside the door. Definitely going to repeat a visit.

Prices - super reasonable - I can rationalize this instead of eating at home any day (thank you!)! Food was good! My husband got a chicken burrito; but with no rice or pico de gallo (he has the cilantro glitch) he said it was a bit dry. But I think that's his situation, not a general rule. I got the chicken tacos - they have all the sides and salsas you could ask for. YUM!!!! Beans and rice as a side - great! A two taco plate with rice and beans for $8. I'll do that any day of the week! I'd pass on the chips and guacamole in the future. Not needed. Thanks for a great lunch! And - we had zero samples at Costco and bought zero items we don't need!!

The layout is kinda interesting...it's just one large room with a bunch of tables. Then the open kitchen and bar to the side (separated by a wall). We got the carne asada fries to share and these were delicious. 9/10. Huge portion too! For my son, he got the ceviche. It's just shrimp, would be cool if they added more seafood. Dish was $25+. He said it was an 8.5/10. I got the garlic butter shrimp enchiladas, also for $25. Like why is everything so overpriced. For the quality / taste, def not worth $25. The enchiladas were just okay. Our waitress and the staff were nice, no problems there. The house made horchata is deliciousssss.
