Great place to take your kids! I actually enjoyed the activities as well. Im 1/2 nerd 1/2 hood and I enjoy science and art! The hour went by quite fast as it always does when you're having fun. My kid had a blast! The ladies working were excellent too!

I absolutely LOVE this place. Such a unique concept, very fun and highly educational. We have been going for years now and are never disappointed. In the rare instance an item needed for an experiment is out of stock, one of the staff members will do their best to make it right. Buy more than just one hour, there is so much to do!

I had never heard of Little Beakers Science Lab for Kids before my daughter was invited to attend a birthday party her last Saturday. Upon arriving we were greeted by their welcoming friendly staff. They had me fill out the waiver and then showed me where to pick out a Lab coat and safety goggles for my daughter. I was impressed already because I knew they would be doing little experiments and making slime and in the back of my head I was worried about messing up her cute outfit. I was relieved they offered lab coats to protect the kids clothing and safety goggles. The hosts names were Elizabeth, Paul and Michael. Elizabeth was the main host that conducted and instructed the kiddos in their experiments. She was very patient and helpful and made it very entertaining for them. The experiments were very cool. They made yellow snow, made a volcano explode, a pop top pop open and fly and a bottle fizz to the ceiling and of course they all made slime which they could keep and take home. All of the girls brought their own American Girl dolls which we all took photos of. The party goers had a private room which the parents decorated. They did not offer food so they ordered Papa Johns pizza and brought in the beautiful birthday cupcakes. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The party was very interesting and a lot of fun. We went to the restroom before leaving and they had planets and constellations with all the zodiac stars on the was and hanging. It was super cool. I would definitely recommend this place as a great place for a little aspiring scientist to have his or her birthday party.

We went without having much information and I would say if you only have an hour or if you can set aside a whole afternoon, GO! Kids absolutely loved it, and learned a lot. I was impressed with the organized stations and helpful staff. The first step is putting on a lab coat and safety glasses. Then you are given a lab book with several experiments for each of the 6 sections. You get to choose what you do, and everything you need is in the section, clearly marked. We made smoke, created a tornado, created an explosion, measured density, fabricated a heart, made beach bubble gum, shot a rocket we created, created snow, made salt & pepper dance, and so much more. I can't wait to go back! I mean, er, I can't wait to take the kids back. :-)

This is by far the most interesting place you can have an educational-type birthday party. I love that it looks like a school science lab inside. It brings back memories of high school. There are chemical compositions written on the wall. In one room, they have the periodic table displayed on the wall. Set atop the tables are microscopes, flasks, beakers, molecular structures and more. In the bathroom, look up and you'll see the solar system. We attended a birthday party here recently. All the children donned lab coats and safety glasses. They had the children gather together at one table and an instructor led them through multiple experiments. Not only did he go through each experiment with them, he also asked questions and follow up questions, teaching them, as he went along. It's like being in a fun classroom! For the party we attended, my son was able to make snow, slime, volcano-like reactions and popping rockets. Lots of entertainment with a quick educational lesson sprinkled in. Every child participating got to take home two of their experiments - the snow and the slime. Afterwards, everyone washes their hands in one of the many sinks around the room and heads into the party room for food and cake. This is the most enjoyable kids birthday party we've ever been to. My son is still talking about it days later and wants to go back to play "scientist" again.

If you are looking for a fun activity to do with your kids, look no further. Upon entering you are given goggles and a lab coat (well the kids are) and a binder full of experiments to choose from. The various labs (science tables) are named after famous scientists. You can weigh at any station, unless there is a party going on. We had two 3 year olds, and one 10 year old in our group, and all three lived this place. They made goo, slime, explosions, smoke, and all kinds of fun stuff. You can take home anything that you make, like slime or goo. We paid $10 for an hour, I felt it was enough, but the kids definitely wanted more time. $16 for unlimited time. I agree with some of the reviewers, though. The owner seemed a little frazzled by all the activity (business) they had. She seemed stressed out. But, I don't think I'd deduct any stars for that, because the kids will still have a wonderful time.

We have been here a few times but this was a first for a birthday party. It was so much fun! Very organized and the kids got to blow stuff up and make huge bubbles. You could see their little brains thinking! They have fantastic summer camps.

The kids had a blast, ages 2.8 and 8. The place is big and i loved they have open available lab during the weekend. Is clean, friendly staff and organized. We purchased one hour and we made 2 experiments. If you are going with kids that need assistance you need an adult per child. Some of the needed supplies were not in the tables, therefore locating the stuff eats some of the time. The staff cleans for you, you leave the mess and they take care of the rest. My kids had a blast, i was tired but it was worth the time and money!!!!

Microscope bench with multiple slides in the middle so any kid can spend time choosing what they want to view! Great experience!

After he turned 3 we had parent teacher conference and his teacher told us he was not ready to move to the next classroom. Her reason was he did not meet the maturity and developmental requirements to move up. Less than 2 months later they told us he was moving to the next classroom (he had not shown improvement on the areas previously mentioned). There were inconsistencies at home and I expressed to his then current teacher, new teacher, and the director that I did not think he would handle the transition well at that time. They moved him anyway and he started showing signs of physical aggression which he never had before. I understand the need to protect teachers and other students, but this was poorly addressed. About 10 days into the new class we had a meeting with the new teacher and the owner stating we would need to pick him up early when he was having behaviors and have consequences once taken home. Later that day we were called to pick him up early. The following day they allowed him to stay a full day even though he was having behaviors and at pickup we were told he was not welcome to come back to the school. We were given 1 day, one early pickup to put into practice their action plan. The school did not take into consideration the parents concerns. They thought they knew better.

He moved to the next room after he turned three and it quickly went downhill. He spent numerous days in "the office" without any notification for me until I got there to pick him up. I would have appreciated some sort of communication that he had been spending hours in the office, which was a glass room with a dining room table. My son had just turned three, one day I came to pick him up and the "owner "said he refused to put his shoes on and told him he couldn't go back to his class until he put them on by himself. He's three, and it was literally the first day he had ever worn shoes with laces. He had no idea how to untie them, they were in double knots. Another day I went to pick him up and he had been in the office three or four times that day for random things, and the "owner " told me he was harassing other students. I was never called nor notified of this behavior. Just walked in to my 3 year old son in "The office" for idk how long. One day I went to pick him up, and they told me he wasn't welcome back. Again never called or notified until I walked in the door. The "owner " also complained in a letter to all parents that children shouldn't be getting out of their cars after eating food on the way to school, that they could make it from the house to school without eating. And that many of the parents cars look like bombs went off inside them. I don't know how this man is over a school, but it was a terrible experience. This may not be the experience of everyone however it was my experience and I would not recommend this school.

Our son transitioned to PDC from another school that was not as much of a fit for him. In the 3 years he has been with PDC he has truly blossomed and matured into a very capable and independent teenager. The school operates in a very hands on and interactive way. The children have many opportunities throughout the day to move, exercise and express themselves whether it's through yoga, martial arts, hikes, field trips or gymnastic classes. Education-wise, they have a wonderful staff that truly cares and supports not only the children but their families as well. PDC very much individualizes their curriculum for each child and makes adjustments based on the children's needs and interests. They also very much include attention to life skills such as cooking, cleaning, public speaking and social skills. PDC is a very empowering place for neuro-divergent children. Lastly, the school actively works to keep the tuition very reasonable as most schools of this nature charge you 2 to 3 times more than PDC. I highly recommend this little known diamond in the rough that was founded by two innovative and caring educators who created an affordable and out of the box school for neuro-divergent children. We love this place!

I began to see how isolating the school was and then proceeded witnessing an incident in real time via camera in which consistent bullying, isolating and lifting a child by the arm from the floor occurred all within the first 20min of the child entering the classroom. Immediately, I removed my child from the class. There was no accountability from the directors, who blindly believed the teacher without offering to review camera footage. I had to go above them to the district manager, even while we all watched the footage together the directors did not own their mistake which was clearly on tape! I will say the district manager apologized profusely, and was shocked at the behavior on tape and by the directors. So disheartening when you've invested YEARS and thousands of dollars in a school to just know in the end that does not matter even when faced with proof and facts you are nothing but a number and easily replaced.

We've spent a lot of time here this summer and have always enjoyed bringing our kids, but the atmosphere has noticeably declined to the point where it no longer feels welcoming or family-friendly. My daughter is 5 years old, and at one point she was simply standing next to me while I was with my younger child in the 3-and-under area. We were immediately told we needed to separate. I'm sorry, but I'm not comfortable forcing my children to split up when I'm actively supervising both of them. The interaction felt unnecessarily rigid and completely dismissive of basic parental judgment. The staff also suddenly became extremely strict about outside coffee, stating it wasn't allowed unless it came from the neighboring business. At the same time, I could clearly see multiple other guests with drinks from elsewhere that were not addressed at all. The inconsistency was glaring and made the enforcement feel arbitrary and unfair, as though certain families were being targeted while others were ignored. Overall, the staff came across as more interested in policing minor technicalities than actually creating a positive, welcoming environment for families. A children's play space should feel relaxed and accommodating, not like a place where parents are constantly monitored, corrected, or singled out over harmless situations. It's especially disappointing given how much we've enjoyed this place in the past, but after today's experience, the environment has become so unpleasant that we won't be returning.
