I truly hate to write a review like this, but as a fellow business owner, I believe in the importance of customer service. I always strive to treat people well, even in moments where I may feel I'm right. That's just part of doing good business. Back in August 2019, I rented the Dripping Slime bus for our kids and nephew to make slime. The owner was kind and respectful, even though the air conditioning wasn't working in the Houston heat. I chalked it up to growing pains since she had just started the business, and I appreciated her professionalism and warmth. Fast forward to yesterday, I was excited to bring my 3-year-old daughter to the storefront for her first slime experience. She wasn't born yet during our first encounter, but she's really into slime now, so I thought this would be perfect. When we walked in, the initial staff was welcoming, although they didn't seem to know about our reservation. No big deal they got us started right away. There were a few teenage boys working, and while it was clear they were still learning how to engage with customers, they were polite, helpful, and attentive. Everything was fine until the owner arrived. The moment she walked in, the energy completely shifted. I instantly recognized her as the woman who helped us in 2019, and I was genuinely looking forward to congratulating her on the success of opening a storefront and offering encouragement. But I never got that chance. She came in with a visible attitude and immediately began loudly scolding and cursing at the teenage staff, right in front of customers and children. Her language was inappropriate, and the tone was aggressive. There were only two customers present: myself and another mother with her young son. My daughter is just 3 years old, and the other kids in the space couldn't have been more than 10. None of us were acknowledged or greeted, just subjected to that energy. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and extremely disappointing. The entire atmosphere shifted in a way that no parent would want their child around. What hurts most is that I intentionally chose this business over other options, like Slimoo, because I wanted to support a Black-owned business. But as a community, we have to do better. Success isn't just about having a great product or idea, it's about how you treat people. And the repeated complaints in her reviews about poor customer service suggest this isn't a one-time thing. Unfortunately, I won't be returning or recommending this place. The teenagers there did their best, and I feel for them, as well as for the customers who experienced that energy. But ultimately, the owner's attitude will be the downfall of this business if it doesn't change. People will go out of their way to support great service, even if the product is just average. But if the service is bad? Customers will go elsewhere. I sincerely hope the owner takes this as an opportunity to reflect, seek some customer service training, or perhaps reevaluate if this industry is really the right fit. Not every path is meant for everyone, and that's okay. But treating people with kindness and respect should never be optional. read more

I want to start this review off my stating that I read most of the Google reviews when my sister (in love) told me this was where she was having my nieces 5th birthday party. I was definitely skeptical however, I am sooooooo glad she did!!! The party was cute, unique, the hosts were attentive and they made great use of the time that was given to celebrate the birthday girl! At one point, even the owner was helping out! Honestly, as one of the parents watching and taking pics of the kiddos, I was secretly hoping someone wouldn't show so I could get in on the fun! This is a small space and I must've bumped into one of the hosts at least 5-10 times over the course of the party (taking pics and tending to guests) but never once was an eye rolled or any inclination that I was in her way! She politely smiled and said, you're no bother at all! Her patience with the kiddos was unmatched! And we had some eager little ones! Lol. There was also a moment where guests were uncomfortable with the temperature, I asked the host if it was okay if we lowered the air just a bit... I was truly expecting her to be like, REALLY?!?!? Lol! But again, she said oh yeah, I can do that right now (and that she was warm too )! This review is getting lengthy, I know, so I'll wrap it up... But in closing, don't let previous reviews stop you from enjoying this experience! Our kiddos and parents had a great time and I'm planning to return with my daughter for some mommy and me QT! I'm so glad I didn't listen to the previous reviews because we had an INCREDIBLE experience. This is a sensory heaven! Great for the ADHD, autistic kiddos or even adults. The owner was so nice and cool and so were her kids who helped us out. They were so professional and helpful the whole time. My 3 year old son loved every single minute. My husband who complained about the idea of coming here in the first place enjoyed it more than I did. Such a unique experience. It's affordable, fun, a cool shop to be in, and cool that you get to walk away with your own custom slime. Kid favorite, easy and affordable for the parents, and you get to support a local family with your business. Definitely check this place out. There's nothing like it out there! read more

Sadly we cannot recommend this place. We booked the Extra Drip party package on Feb 23rd, for an April 5th party date. I called the same day we booked (6 weeks in advance), to confirm the date and to notify them that this was a double birthday. I asked her if this would be okay, stating that it could be around 20-25 people. She said it was totally fine and all good. She stated that a week in advance they would text/contact me to confirm details and get more information from us. About a few weeks after booking (mid March), I called back to update her (the owner) that roughly 30 had rsvp-ed, unexpectedly, and I wanted to ask and make sure she had enough space. The owner, T, tells me that it should be just fine, as she can add a 3rd table. About a week before the the party date, I called her again to make sure I didn't miss her text/call that was supposed to happen (but never did) and to confirm date , time, and number of guests to make sure it was still all good. She stated yes. Day of party, 25 total kiddos arrive (plus 3 siblings of party guests, that did not RSVP) . At about 10 min post arrival time, all kiddos were present. Her assistant was present, but told us we needed to wait until T arrived, stating she ran up the street to grab more supplies but should be right back in a few minutes. 45 min later, T arrives. Leaving us now an hour and some change left (of the 2 hours we booked). When she finally comes in, she begins to be rude to all the parents and guests there asking them to move and get out of the way. She tells me that all the parents need to either wait outside or in their car. Several party guests (adults) complained of her rude behavior. Prior to T's arrival, while waiting and knowing the party would be behind and now start late, I asked the assistant what time she thinks we will start so that I can push the pizza arrival to a later time so that it doesn't get cold, now that the start time as been delayed (since it was pre-ordered set to arrive at the original time). She tells me to push it back 15 min, assuring me that since two of them would be helping with the party, that it would not take that long to get through the slime activities. Not knowing how long the slime would take, I did so. The pizza arrived at the time she recommended, but sadly was sitting here for 40 minutes. It was cold by the time the kids ate it. Again, we had things planned according to time. But T's extremely late arrival, pushed everything else back. Then, T (owner) had the nerve to rush us and try and kick us out while the kids were eating pizza and cake. She tells me another party is waiting outside and has paid. Then tells me "next time a party this big needs to book the whole place." The nerve to show up and start the party 45 min late, then try and tell us we ran over time and boot us out? Not even acknowledging her tardiness and being unprepared? Then tells me a party this big should have booked the whole place, when a month in advance she knew the number of guests and not once said it was a problem? If she was unable to accommodate a large party, she should have said that when I called her 3 times to confirm party size. She knew at least 3-4 weeks in advance that roughly 30 were coming (and not even that many came. It was 25 just like we told her from the beginning). So to leave the day of the party to go get more supplies and be almost an hour late, then blame us for running over time? Why are you leaving the day of the party to get supplies for a party you knew about over a month ago? She is absolutely not good under pressure, and it showed. Being unable to handle that many people does not warrant unkind and rude behavior towards kids and parents. We paid for the party in full at the end, despite the guests saying we should have gotten a refund. I respect small businesses, being that we have one of our own, but poor customer service and a bad attitude is the quickest way to run your business into the ground. Word of mouth works fast. I paid her the full $750 and kept it moving. So unfortunate, as I was looking forward to supporting a small, black-owned business in our area. Especially something as cute and fun as this was supposed to be. I do have to commend her assistant however, as she remained calm and respectful the entire time she was there running back and forth helping everyone. I did not witness her being unkind not once. She may have been stressed, but we could not tell. The owner however, should take notes. Cause her attitude was not it. Very unprofessional. read more

Reserved this business for our in-house field trip for our center. After confirming and providing our address several times we received a call at 10:00am informing us they had went to Sealy, TX (?? since our address is 77406 not sure how this happened) After not showing up we called several times at their business number with no call back, follow-up or return call. We tried several times and finally they answered at 2:21pm to say "That because they open at 12:00pm and went to the wrong address they simply returned to the business location". When asked if they simply could have called and told us that I was told that ahhh well yes but anyway. This is poor business management and simply a waste of time and disappointment for all our kiddos that waited on them to come. My girls 4 and 2 had the best time ! Such a cute shop with tons of options to make different kinds of slime . It's a sensory lovers dream. The girls that worked there were amazing and were so hands on with my kids. They didn't want to leave. I even had a great time with them and felt like I was just hanging out with good friends . You could not have made me and my daughter feel more unwelcome in your shop. Sorry to bother you while you were cleaning and eating, thought I could pop in really quick and ask about some birthday party packages. The fact you had a problem with my four year old daughter taking a few steps forward, the way you said she can NOT go over there she was literally two steps to my left in that tiny space, squatting to look at something. The way you didn't put your food down at all and asked me did I look at your social media yet... Because all that information was there. I told you yes! I have looked but I couldn't find too much information specifically about parties, had checked Google and Yelp. I'm on it, why were you talking to me like you didn't have 5 minutes to spare? I'd have preferred you just passed me that pamphlet, let me know it was by appointment only, and I would have taken it and said, great! I'll call if I have any questions. Also the way that you stopped talking mid sentence and smirked and gave us the cold shoulder because I was addressing my daughter quickly to please let me talk, the smirk on your face was COLD. If that's the way you act around kids well DAMN. We weren't in there more than a full 5 minutes, I really wanted to support local businesses and Black owned businesses at that but, lady, you gotta get some people skills. If I could give this establishment a -5 star review, I would!!!! I'm visiting from out of town with my daughter and she came across this business she was very excited to try. So I went online to schedule and appointment for today 7/3/2022 @4:30. We were running like 10 mins behind so I called the place to inform them and also ask if I could move my time till 5 instead. Apparently this owner has her kids working the phone as well because a little girl answered. When I was explaining to this little girl what I wanted she then told me to hold on and then passed the phone to her mom (which is the owner of this establishment). Right away I caught her attitude as she proceeded to tell me "that's are last appointment and that they're employees who want to leave " "imma have to rush through the service with you" right then (me being a business owner myself) I knew this woman had no customer service skills what so ever and really didn't care about her customers! As I was talking to let her know I'm not from here and we're from out of town this rude owner (Terrance) or whatever her name is hung up on my face!!!! When I called back to get her name she then had her little son answer and try to play dumb talking about " I don't know what you're talking about, I just picked up the phone" while I hear the owner (Terrance ) or whatever talking in the back "if she ain't here at this time we're leaving @ 5:30" then she grabs the phone as I'm speaking nice, I ask her what's her name is! RUDELY tells me her name and says " I'm the owner of this business " I told her thanks I'll be making a Yelp about this and hung up while she is laughing. WHATEVER YOU DO! Great place to take the kids. Visited with an 11 and 8 year on a whim and we had a blast.The staff were amazing. Every table was full and yet they made you feel like you were the only one in the room. The process is quick and they offer lots of options. The slime is not like what you make at home.
