The lamb is sautéed with peppers and onions in a slightly spicy pungent sauce. It was very tender. The mushroom dish is stir fried with basil and Fresno Chiles. My Orange Beef was excellent. I asked for for it to be spicy and young lady taking my order said that it was already spicy. It definitely had a lot of heat to it. It was crispy, tangy, hot (feugo) and downright yummy. You could see the chunks of garlic and slivers of orange peel throughout the dish. I wish they were closer to me. Service: 5 stars While there was a language barrier between my very American fiancé and I and the friendly Asian lady running the counter, she did her best to communicate the spiciness of dishes and offered us the option of chopsticks or silverware once our food had arrived. Ambiance: N/A This isn't actually a restaurant, it's really a takeout place. There are tables and they were clean. But there's no music, no decorations, and nothing to make you want to eat there. Dish 1: pork with scallions - 5 stars This dish was incredible. It was salty. A tad spicy. Succulent. It seemed like such a simple dish that MAYBE one could make at home, but there was definitely something special about it. We will absolutely order this again! Dish 2: sweet and sour ribs - 3 stars These ribs were delicious but they had tiny chunks of bone or gristle in almost each piece. Not realizing this, I shoved a piece into my mouth and had to chew around a tiny bone and spit it out. I was unsure how to consume the rest of the dish until my fiancé gave up using a fork and chewed on the tiny pieces of meat as if they were actual ribs. This worked much better... but since the meat was so small, it seemed so weird using my hands to eat. Otherwise, the dish was delicious but the tiny bones definitely made eating it a tedious affair. Sides: 1 I know this is a more authentic Chinese restaurant, but it would be nice to have smaller items to order. I'm not sure what they'd offer if they're not offering egg rolls, but it would be nice to have a side or two other than white rice. Will we be back? Absolutely! Will we order the ribs again? The soy sauce they use is the cheapest junk you can buy. That tells you how cheap they are with their other ingredients. Before I cook chicken I cut off the nasty parts. They don't!
