This Ploughman's Board was literally the most putrid pile of shit I have ever been served in any eatery, anywhere in the world. The chutney was the high point and it went rapidly downhill from there. The selection of local cheeses included a clumsily huge block of blue vein cheese which had the nastiest of undertones, overtones and a brutal assault on my palate. The salamis only reference to its manufacture was salt, salt and more salt. The paté, OMFG, what in gods name was this gritty in texture muck...I cannot actually relate this taste to anything I have ever put in my mouth and not in a good way...just thinking about it is making me shudder. The pickles were bland, underdone and contributed nothing to the board other than a respite from the woeful cheese and that paté. The flatbread drizzled in honey sadly reflected an over stretched kitchen staff suffering from delusions about their capability....The coffee is not bad though. Sadly, I simply could never recommend the tin shed based on this meal...At least this pretentious, clumsy effort at preparing a platter gave my wife a laugh watching me fight my gag reflex, over and over again.
