    Big brekky. Very filling!
    Adam Y.

Stopped in here after getting off the train for a late breakfast..errr brekky before a day of walking around the local tourist spots. They were quite busy but we decided to still stop in. You order at the counter like most of the other places in Australia (this is not common in the states), and they bring the coffee and food out to you. The water was self serve. The food was plentiful and flavorful. The tomatoes were perfectly grilled and salted, the bacon (ham) and sausage were also good. I'm not a fan of bread but had a bite anyway and it was thick and had a decent flavor as well. Check the picture for what we got. Loved the French toast! Pretty much dessert. The coffee (flat white) was was good. The only complaint would be the size of the place. It's quite small so either come early, sit outside or be prepared to wait.

    Big bekkie and french toast

I came here with my husband during our trip to the Blue Mountains. It was a cold day that time when we visited and we needed a place to fuel up before our hike. Good thing is that the place is conveniently located near the train station. But it was extremely packed and did not have a lot of tables. We waited for a good 15 minutes before we finally got our seats. We ordered their Big brekkie and french toast. Their french toast is soft and gooey in the center. I typically prefer my french toasts to be more firm and crispy but their combination with the toasted shredded coconuts inside the toasts and topped with caramelized pineapples is out of this world. It was delicious! Price was a bit pricey compared to where I was from but decent when compared to other Australian places. Their service was very slow but it was nothing unexpected because they warned you on their menu :)

Museli, mushrooms, cinnamon toast open toasted sandwich

I've been searching for the place to go and eat in the blue mountains, and this is it! 2 adults and 2 kids and everyone ordered a diverse range of items. The museli was incredible, mushrooms amazing, cinnamon toast and open sandwich amazing. My daughters had chai lattes and they are very picky and they drank them entirely. The service is amazingly fast. The food arrived as it was made and it was made with love and amazing presentation. I ordered a soy latte and the attendant came back and checked that I am ok to have cows milk and yougurt on my museli. That lateral thought to check was impressive. The atomsphere is comfortavblr and is a jewel of Katoomba.

Super delicious breakfast at Katoomba. We had the Magic Mushroom & French Toast. Out of the ordinary. Must book.

2pm laaaaate breakfast. We're staying in Leura, but I've found Leura a bit hit and miss for a good breakfast, good seating, service, coffee and reasonable pricing. Pomegranate has all of that. About 10 tables indoors, it's cozy, without being too noisy or feeling too crowded. More than happy to have made the five minute drive over to Katoomba for delicious poached eggs (I ordered an extra, so three eggs) and bacon (again ordered extra), with some local sourdough toasted, along with some baby spinach on the sides. Portion size was excellent for a hungry fella - $18 and the same price as the big brekkie that I'd have picked stuff off (I don't need tomatoes and mushrooms, thanks). My significant other had two eggs scrambled, with bacon and said sourdough, etc. Eggs are scrambled with a little cream and some cheese. Overall a really nice feed, good value, and 'exactly' what I was looking for. Will definitely be back tomorrow, and for other visits to the Blue Mountains.

Cosy place with delicious coffee and food. Service was friendly with no pressure to move on even if olace was packed. Loved my Eggs Florentine.

Seemed lovely and had a good menu. Stops serving food at 3pm, so just had a raspberry smoothie, but that was delicious!

Still, I'm a big online fan because otherwise I can spend half a day looking for somewhere to eat. And the online menu does say they love people with allergies. However there is no mention of gluten or gluten free on the menu. Maybe this is related to the tightening of Australian rules into "gluten friendly" rather than gluten free. Since their specialty is hot sandwiches, I'm up in the air on the gluten front. If they will allow choosing from the sides and extras menu, that would be perfect. I also like how many of their prices have stayed reasonable, with five dollar coffees, I don't know if I can eat them but their egg sandwiches for Brekky look positively dreamy.

Can't eat it like a sandwich so ask for a fork :) Hubs had the Deli Rose and loved it. Ate every bit. Friendly service, lots of languages spoken here. Loved it Aussie 43.50

We started with coffees, that were very cute, coming with tiny bear cookies. I had the avocado toast with eggs and the husband had the waffle with chocolate and ice cream and the works. My avocado toast was quite tasty. The cheese on top was delicious! The waffle was not nearly as good. It had sprinkles on top that made it very crunchy. Anyway, if you're looking for breakfast, this isn't a bad place, but maybe not the best place in the area to stop.

It wasn't coffee I sought but waffles, and they did well. Their strategy is to offer small but inexpensive items and charge for toppings, which worked out fine for me. I ordered a presumably healthy whole grain waffle, a tasty cinnamon one, and split my maple syrup and kiwi fruit between them. These were thick, cake-y waffles, quite satisfying. They also offered potatoes with a range of savory toppings, and I rather wished I'd gotten one of those after sampling it. They offered some nice shake flavors and ice cream as well. As a non-coffee drinker, I can't vouch for that, but as far as food goes, between the customization, value for money, and premium location, I was very happy, enough to round up the 4+ stars for the rating.
