    Poodle

Missy has been wonderful with our "moyan"-sized standard poodle. The price is great and he comes out looking cute every time. He loves Missy too! We haven't used any of the other groomers in the business, but I'm sure they're great as well.

    Ralphie & his toys!

Ralphie is an old one eyed & bad backed Pekingese! Even with all of that...he's still the worst dog to groom and has anxiety through the roof. These guys take amazing care of him with patience and love!

    Pampered princess

I have been going to Lisa's pet styles for the last 6 years and for good reason. Our stylist Nicole has always gone above and beyond for all of mine and my mothers dogs, who I've also brought in. Huskys, poodles, and lab mixes, all taken care of and with no complaints. I'll never forget when my dear lady, who was regularly pampered at Lisa's, past away tragically Nicole showed so much love and compassion towards our family. Lord knows the holidays can be stressful with everyone trying to get their pets in before the family visits, but everyone at Lisa's had a smile on their face when I came in today!

Sad cause I really liked this place for the last two years but the last two months have been a circus! Three cancelled appointments and I'm so disappointed Your hours are listed open at 8:00 am, and your doors are locked? Don't leave people assuming, it's bad for business. Also, so rude to my friend who just picked up his little dog... why?

It hurts me to give even one star! We made an appointment. Yes, an appointment! He was there at 9:00 am. We were told he would be ready in 2 to 4 hours and they would call us. Firstly we didn't receive a call. We returned at almost 2:00 pm. That is well over the maximum time THEY indicated it would take. When we arrived to see if he was ready, the groomer was still working on him!! When she handed him over to us, he was still damp! And, the cut was atrocious! She didn't clip the head at all, but where the head and neck meet, the line is jagged and chopped! She left tufts of hair in the navel area 1 1/2 to 2 inches long. His legs have tufts of hair sticking out all over. She didn't clip around the bum, or any of the tail! We have taken Dexter to groomers for years and he ALWAYS came home beautiful, looking like a puppy. The woman that clipped him is a terrible groomer!! She should never be allowed around peoples beloved pets with sharp implements! Lisa's Pet Styles should only be considered, if you are planning to enter your dog in an 'Ugliest Dog Competition'! As I am writing this, I've been reminded that when we got him back, he was acting timid and he didn't eat for a day and a half. Lisa's Pet Styles............NO!

The trama, damage caused by cutting his nail too short and exposed the nerve and then not even inform me that they caused my dog trauma

I have taken my dog there about 8 years now and Andrea was his groomer and she was great. Also the groomer who took over grooming Cash when Andrea moved, was really good too. I took my boy in today and since Andrea isnt there anymore i got a different groomer and i cant remember her name. So im going to refer to her as Her. I am absolutly pissed with "Her" for a few reasons and none of them are frivolous complaints. So i get Cash home and set him down and i notice he wont put any weight on his right front paw. Upon examining his foot its very apparent what is causing him pain. His middle nail was cut past the quick ( the nerve) it is also obious that it was bleeding as well.Cash has very clear nails and its easy to see where the nerves are in the nails so there is no excuse for cutting that nail that short. But most and worst of all, There in NO F'ing excuse to, not only hurting my dog, but then to not be perfessional enough to tell me about it. Not a word! No apology! Nothing! No i have find out about it by seeing my dog in pain and not bearing weight on it. I tried to call even tho it was after 5 when i got home from picking Cash up because they use to have a voicemail to be able to leave messages, so its no wonder why they shut their phones off completely. I really am disappointed and that groomer shouldnt be cutting pets nails if she doesnt know how. She should be ashamed for not telling me she caused him trauma and chose to not be a professional or even a decent person and take responsibilty for the careless mistake. I certainly wouldnt have given her a $20 tip. So, really, thanks for making grooming appointments even more of a scary place for my sweet boy to have to go. I will not be going back there ever again and im going to make sure the nearly 30 people that i know who take their dogs there know about this so they can avoid having what happened to Cash done to their dogs. What was once a great, trustworthy, dog friendly, ethically professional place where one could be comfortable leaving their best friends for a few hours, is no longer the same safe place. Last thing i want to say is, if they have no problem causing real trauma to a pet and not inform the pets owner about what had happened, then there is no telling what other horrible things are being done to our dogs that we wont ever know about unless our dogs have physical evidence that something tramatic happened. If it gets infected and or it doesnt get better in a day or two i will take him to the vet and if they dont offer to pay the vet bill then i will file suit. Had they been decent and told me that an accident had happened even if it was cash making it hard for her to cut his nails, i wouldve understood and i wouldnt be writing this, no, its the not informing me that a mistake was made which caused my dog pain and caused him to bleed, its the complete unprofessional cowardly way you handled things that if he needs to be seen by a vet and you dont offer to pay the bill is why i will go to greater lengths i.e law suit Couldnt be any more pissed and disgusted with the unethical and unperfessionalism at that shop these days. Certainly missing Andrea right now

She's tired now... but she's pretty!!!

Lisa is amazing she fixed my baby girl and she's a lot less stressed. I will continue to take my girl there she turned out gorgeous. Lisa was awesome about fixing her and very prompt getting her done... she took a bad situation and fixed it when she really didn't have to... I came home very happy and so did sweet pea. Thank you Lisa!!!

My pup looks live a movie star now!

I took my shaggy pup, Gizmo, to Lisa's for the works. Erica groomed her and we're super happy with the results. Normally we've been seeing Faith and have been very happy with her, but she was overbooked this day. I was a bit apprehensive going with a different groomer, but Erica didn't let us down. Gizmo looks so cute with her summer cut I might keep her styled all the time. My only suggestion to folks with less than positive results is..... Communicate! Just be sure both you and the groomer are expecting the same results. As for Gizmo and me... We'll definitely stick with Lisa's!

His face and muzzle look horribly uneven.

Do not bring your family pets to this groomer. I had booked an appointment well in advance, almost a month out. I brought my dog "Chicken" for a groom and nail trim. What I got was the worst cut I have ever seen. They should be embarrassed. I dropped my dog off at 11 am, only to be told 2 to 4 hours. Okay, I can live with that. But I called at 3:30 and she said they needed 45 more minutes. Why? Probably because they shoved him in a kennel and forgot about him. He looks horrible. We asked for a Mohawk. Instead, he has an uneven strip down his back. There are spots missed all over and and no nail trim. They don't know what they are doing. I will never go back. And will tell anyone who asks what shotty work they do.

My sister came here to get a "small trim" she wanted her dog still fluffy but with shorter hair. When she got to this place she said " I want him to get a small trim not too much I want him to be fluffy" the lady said "no, we are going to shave it all off" My sister again said "NO. Just as a SMALL trim. The worker said ok. 3 hours later when my sister came to pick up her dog the look of her face was unbearable. THEY SHAVED OFF ALL OF HIS HAIR! They did a terrible job. He was so ugly. And I'm pretty sure they mistreated her dog because when we got him he was so feisty and he was also limping. The point is, they did not leave my dog how I wanted.

I have a beautiful long hair cat, she has never been to a groomer. But she was getting very matted so we had to do something. The groomer Amanda was very polite and I was on a tight time schedule that day. Amanda was able to get my cat done so I could get where I was need on time. I was very happy with the way my fat little cat looked. She seamed very happy

Upon check-in, I spoke with the front desk groomer who explained they likely wouldn't do a full haircut due to her age, which I completely understood. However, shortly after they took her to the back, we heard her screaming and barking, which already felt like a red flag. We left the store but received a call within 30 minutes saying they could no longer complete the appointment because her abdomen had become extremely distended and hard. They claimed she drank too much water and expressed concern about possible worms or other health issues, which was frustrating since she had just been cleared by our vet, and there was zero indication of any health concerns when we dropped her off. She was fine. They told us we would need to get her re-evaluated and bring written proof from a vet before they would groom her again. We took her home and, shockingly, she began having seizures within hours. We rushed her to the vet, which resulted in a very expensive emergency bill. I can't say for certain that the seizure was caused by what happened at Petco, but it's hard to ignore the timing and the fact that she was left unattended long enough to drink excessive water, enough to dangerously bloat a small puppy. Whether it was negligence or a lack of proper supervision, it was extremely upsetting and could have ended far worse. We will never be returning to Petco Grooming and will not be bringing our other dogs either. If you have a young or sensitive pup, I strongly suggest going elsewhere where they're better equipped to handle the care and supervision young dogs need.
