    Dumplings

Great spot for a quick bite. They basically only serve dumplings and certainly do them well here. The chicken/bell pepper and pork/cabbage dumplings were great, both pan friend and steamed. I thought more veggies in the filling would've been nice; I couldn't really taste any. Only one table for 4 in terms of seating; which two people had spread out on long after finishing eating, which the staff didn't seem to care. There are standing tables around the area though. The cashier also looked at me strangely when I asked for a cup of water, which I don't think is that an unusual request.

Pretty good 7 pc, $11 plus tax & tip = &19. Still pretty good for the convenience tbh Can't complain, dumplings were good

$17 after tip (7 pc). Convince and taste was good so can't really complain, it's NYC anyways

Lisa and her beautiful family! Thank you, Lisa, for sharing your delectable dumplings with the world...

A Dumpling Marvel! The most exquisite, tasty and addictive dumplings ever!! They SHOULD be called, Lisa's FAMOUS dumplings: A buddy came to NYC to catch a Broadway show, where someone there, recommended a visit to: Lisa's Dumplings at 59th & Columbus Circle underground Market, where the service is ALWAYS impeccable and the ambiance is both creative and splendid; watching fresh dumplings, hand-made... worth the wait! I STRONGLY AGREE & RECOMMEND you take a bag of Frozen ones for the family to experience, as well! If you visit NYC, Columbus Circle is obviously on the list... Lisa's Dumplings are, too!

The worst dumplings ever ... I ordered shrimp & chicken dumpling ... the dumplings are full of chives all they give you is a half of a tail of shrimp & they just stuff it with chives ... what a waste of $31.50 never again this place sucks

These were some of the best fresh pan seared dumplings I've ever had . It's in the turnpike underground market , definitely worth a visit

I was definitively craving dumplings when I came here, but apparently not enough to ignore some of the primary issues I had with these dumplings. It's located in Turnstyle, which is the underground market in the Columbus Circle station. It's somewhat unclear, so just a note. I've walked through this market before but haven't bought anything before, so it was great to at least be able to see some of what it's all about. I ordered on their tablet, and they have a variety of different options either boiled or fried. My favorite part was definitely that they make the dumplings right there in front of you. Really adds something to the experience and made me feel like I was eating fresh dumplings. I ended up getting some pan fried pork and cabbage dumplings. Seven of them were $12 which is genuinely so crazy to me and I've resolved never to pay that much for dumplings ever again. I thought the filling was decent, and I enjoyed the crunch of the skin. My main problem was that the filling came to me cold. The meat closer to the skin was warmer, but as I bit down and got to the center, the filling got noticeably cooler. I love that dumplings have a little spotlight in such a busy area of Manhattan, but likely wouldn't come back because of the price and the weird temperature.

Keepin it real out here in the Columbus Circle Subway Station Saw bunch of high school students eating these on my lunch break and I had to try it cause they looked good. Expect 2X Chinatown price cause it is in a "food hall" kinda place, also right below billionaires row. The dumplings were good, solid, and they charge extra for pan fried. Overall hits the spot, pricey but pretty good.

3.5 - Walking around the Turnstyle at Columbus Circle, I'd passed by Lisa's Dumplings multiple times and finally tried the dumplings for the first time today. I ordered the Pork & Chinese Cabbage Hand Made Dumplings (7 for $9.99+). They asked me if I wanted Steamed or Pan Fried, so I chose Pan Fried, not knowing it was an additional $1. It's not a huge amount and is also indicated on the menu, but I'd never paid additional for pan fried vs steamed and it would have been nice if they'd mentioned it. The handmade dumplings had nice, flavorful filling, but the wrapper was a little too thick and doughy for me. For people who like chewy dumplings, I think this would be a good option.

Was looking for something quick for breakfast and decided to go for some dumplings! I got the veggie and pork/shrimp & it was good! I wish I got the pan fried dumplings but overall it was good and very quick service. The place is located underground near the train stops and depends on the weather because it was hot when I went but overall ambiance was okay!

Got off the E train and when we looked for Chinese food, this place popped up with good reviews and it was just a short walk from where we got off the train. My buddies ordered the special lunches and we also got two types of xlb's, beef chow fun, and some fried dumplings. The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. Bathroom was also very clean, which is sometimes rare in some Chinese restaurants I have been to. If you're looking for a good Chinese meal, stop here when you're in the Chelsea area.

"How 'bout there?" he responded pointing to Excellent Dumpling House. It was directly across the street. I pulled up Yelp, saw good reviews and readily agreed. At 3:30, the restaurant was empty. There were a few takeout orders, but we were the only people sitting down for late lunch. And y'know ... it was pretty good. Wonton soup is what I'd expect in Chinatown. Wonton wrappers were thin -- my preference -- the stuffing delicious and the broth flavorful. They were generous with the beef in our chow fun. Good, but the noodles needed a jolt. So I asked for soy sauce which was sort of a solution. Shrimp with vegetables was great. A lot of shrimp, too. There are lunchtime specials on weekdays, reasonable prices, and nice people work there. Next time it makes sense to try dumplings since it is, after all a dumpling house.

Located within the historic Chelsea Market building--a former Nabisco factory where Oreo cookies were first produced--the restaurant feels theatrical in the best possible way. The soaring ceilings, dramatic lighting, and energetic atmosphere create a sense of occasion from the moment you walk in. It feels less like simply going out to dinner and more like stepping into a beautifully staged production. I started with a Botanist Gin Martini with a twist, which paired wonderfully with the meal. The surprise star of the evening was the new Cucumber Tiger Salad. The balance of flavors was exceptional: bright acidity, a pleasant touch of heat, and just enough mint to make each bite feel fresh and exciting. Every so often the mint would come through and suddenly all the flavors would click together in a way that made me immediately want another bite. This is a dish I would happily order again. Next came the Edamame Dumplings. They were delicate and comforting, especially when enjoyed with the accompanying broth. The broth adds depth and richness that elevates the entire dish. My only suggestion would be the slightest touch more salt, perhaps even a finishing sprinkle of black volcanic salt for both flavor and presentation. I also found myself wishing there were a bit more of that delicious broth because it contributes so much to the overall experience. For my entrée, I ordered the Glazed Alaskan Black Cod, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. The fish was rich, buttery, and perfectly prepared. What impressed me most was how thoughtfully the accompaniments were composed. The pickled cucumbers brought brightness, acidity, and crunch, while the black bean and eggplant relish delivered deep savory notes and unexpected complexity. I'm generally not an eggplant fan, but this relish was outstanding. The cucumbers and relish sit at opposite ends of the flavor spectrum, yet both somehow make the cod even better. Looking back, I think a glass of Sauvignon Blanc alongside the cod would have been the perfect pairing. I finished with the Miso Caramel Milk Bar, which was spectacular. Decadent, sweet, salty, and touched with just enough umami to keep every bite interesting. The chocolate crumble underneath added a wonderful crunch that contrasted beautifully with the creamy ice cream and luscious caramel sauce. Every component worked together perfectly, creating a dessert that was both indulgent and sophisticated. From start to finish, the meal felt polished, thoughtful, and memorable. Thank you!
