Have had nothing but problems since coming here in January or 2023. Originally came for eczema…read moretreatment and after my first visit the doctor "forgot" to send my prescription in and I was completely forgotten for 4 months until my eczema flared up so severely I had to contact them again and ask them to fill it! I went in again in June of 23 and was seen by a PA, Shawn, who was very nice and helped me get started with Dupixent's QuickStart program, as well as an emergency sample to help calm my skin. However, 3 months later I was dropped for some unknown when I moved from Visalia to Exeter even though there had been no change in my insurance. In addition to this I was also unable to fill my normal acne prescriptions as well. I was told the person originally running it moved so that patient volumes had increased and Shawn couldn't see me, no big deal. When asked if they could simply refill my prescriptions over the phone I was told I had to come in (even though I was already approved for the Dupixent in Nov) so instead I booked another appt with Dr. Lutzker who happened to be the next available. I left work early and when I showed up for my appointment I was informed he had left for the day and that the staff forgot to call me and inform me-thanks! Not only did I have to take off work, drive from Exeter to Visalia, but now I had to do it a second time because they forgot to call me?! Fast forward to my appt with Dr. Lutzker. He was incredibly rude and did not once let me speak or inform him of my problems or concerns. It was so bad that even his assistant apologized when he left the room. Not only did he completely disregard my request to fill my prescriptions, but he sent me home with 7 new ones! Why? Why is that necessary when 1) I already informed him I had tried them and they didn't work and 2) I JUST wanted a refill!!! I was told to come back in two weeks and if it didn't work I could have an emergency kenalog shot even though "it is incredibly bad for women." Then why prescribe it to a woman?! Having already received one from a previous doctor at another practice, I had no interest and instead asked for a sample of the dupixent, since I had received one at Luxe prior to getting approved for the medication from my insurance. I was told no. Fast forward to my next appointment with Dr. Lutzker again, and I was informed that I was approved of my prescription back in November, "and why didn't I say so?" I DID! He had just interrupted me so many times I couldn't actually say it! But at least I could finally get some relief and get my shot I knew that worked-or so I thought. So it was sent in to Walgreens for pick up. I drive there to pick up and was informed it was not sent. I called the office and they informed me that they would send it right over so again, I drive across town to Walgreens the next day because it's the only pharmacy that carries it but again, nothing. After going back and forth with them, I was finally put into contact with Devan, their patient coordinator. At this point I feel as though she knows exactly who I am because I have called with so many problems regarding my prescription during the first time when I was trying to get approved. I last spoke to her two months ago and she assured me she would take care of everything and help me get the treatment I need. Since then I have not heard a word. At this point I give up and am going to seek care somewhere else. I work for the state and have the best PPO plan they offer, my insurance is not the problem, this office is. Hopefully they can get their act together soon, a patient shouldn't have to beg for treatment! Posting this review so others can save their time and money and find providers who actually care about their patients.

I was a new patient dealing with pretty bad psoriasis. I went to LUX two times. Both times I was…read moretreated by a Physician's Assistant. Never saw a doctor. I won't go back.

Holy Moly! Compassionate Care is the single best home care service in Visalia. I'm a 65 year old…read morewoman with an above-knee amputation. I'm currently in a manual wheel chair with a smart drive--and every time I hit a bump outside in it, I was getting dumped out, unceremoniously, into the street whIpsy taking my wee dog out for walk. This was happening about 3-5 times a week and when my physical therapist (Drew Branch: he's awesome) heard about it, he did some kind of magic and now I'll be getting a brand new, safe, appropriate-for-my-needs wheel chair! I've got significant damage to my arms from falling, and I'm looking at serious neck surgery. I really can't manage any more damage to myself. Whatever your need, in my experience, Compassionate Care looks at you as a whole person and not just another check to be marked off. I'm so grateful for the excellent care and support I'm receiving. CC has already made my year better! Happy New Year, still, to everyone!

I want to start of by saying I have been going to compassionate family health since 2018 after…read moremoving to Visalia. Initially I had no issue with Dr. Soloniuk-Tays (despite hearing horror stories) I never had any prior issues & thought she was great at addressing my needs. Brenda Kent was my absolute favorite, kind & COMPASSIONATE, always listened & patient (sadly she retired). Since Brenda retired this place just seems to be falling apart. I've experienced so many issues with them never answering the phone (if you are a patient I know you can relate). Their voicemail is always full & they seem to be having a revolving door of new staff (I'm sure that there's a reason they can't keep their staff). I stopped feeling heard & felt like visits turned rushed & like I was just another insurance claim for them to bill. I recently had the worst experience I have ever had with any "professional" establishment. I still can't believe the way their staff (office manager, front office staff, & Dr. Soloniuk-Tays) treated me as I am dealing with a stress-related disorder & post-partum depression. They were extremely rude, unprofessional, & HEARTLESS (anything but COMPASSIONATE). They tried to say I was confrontational for simply trying to explain to them what I needed and because I called them out on a mistake THEY made & refused to take accountability for. Dr. Soloniuk-Tays straight up told me there was no diagnosis or documentation of a diagnosis I was given by her staff & they "lost" copies of important documents I needed. She was so condescending & rude, trying to belittle me. They had the nerve to laugh at my face as I explained to them how I was at a vulnerable time in my life dealing with some horrible medical challenges with my son and my own mental health as I was dealing with their cruel behavior towards me. NOT COMPASSIONATE as they claim to be & I honestly felt discriminated at that. I've spoken to several people who confirm that these facts are in fact true about this place & their staff & I advise you to leave now & don't stick around because you are just not wanting to start over with someone else (like I was). There is good doctors & good people still out there it goes back to simple human decency & empathy more than anything & I feel bad for all their patients specially all the elderly ones they treat hopefully they can advocate out for themselves & leave asap if they're also experiencing issues. I will pray for these staff members & this place because I am not EVIL like they are and I hope that things get better for them because their patients deserve the best possible care
