I first came in during Covid for a test. I have since been in a few more times like last week. You do get in nearly immediately and the Medical Assistant so sweet and her Pink glasses so cute . Dr Anthony is a good listener and very personable. I think he may end up being my new primary. I almost hate to share how wonderful they are for fear they will get to busy . Immediate Care Center, in my experience, has always provided great type of care/care quality/office experience for any medical issues I have been seen there for. No negative experiences in medical care to date.....until yesterday; Monday, 30 Dec 2024. Negative and humiliating experience with the young lady seated at the front desk. Please note that the lobby was literally standing room only-extremely understandable that ICC was extremely busy and I was happy to patiently wait until I could be seen. ICC was doing their best to accommodate the overwhelming influx of patients & was suggesting patients wait in their vehicles or at home; again, happy to wait as this was no fault of ICC. (Lots of patients who picked up the usual holiday bugs going around) When this particular young lady called me up to collect what I expected to be the usual insurance info & reason for visit; I was unaware I was about to be publicly humiliated. Please recall that the lobby was extremely full (still standing room only) and there's no privacy as entire lobby could hear any/all discussions occurring at the front desk . I was publicly informed that I had an outstanding balance I was completely unaware of. I responded that I was entirely unaware of this. She was even more thorough to advise me in front of entire lobby "audience" that I had received four statements and she repeated the amount of the outstanding balance. As I was unaware of this balance, wouldn't logic dictate that I had never received any of the four statements. I inquired if my secondary insurance had been billed and I was informed that ICC didn't have a record of my secondary insurance which I repeatedly mandatorily provided each time insurance info was requested by ICC. I offered to return home & return with the same 2 ins co cards I've had for 30 yrs and that I provided ea time ICC requested. I was informed that ICC care would be denied until I paid entire outstanding balance in full and that I could apply for a refund from my secondary insurer. I was there for a severe ear infection and instead of medical attention, the only attention I received was being publicly shamed in front of the entire lobby by a young lady who lacked the decency and common sense to conduct this privately. Had this same disparaging experience occurred to someone else yesterday, I would have appropriately brought this issue to the attention of an office manager/supervisor....privately. read more

I disliked going to the Dr. until one of my coworkers recommended me here. This facility and the staff are fantastic. I get can everything taken care of in one visit. Waited an hour and a half to be seen for routine bloodwork, when I asked for a co-pay refund I was referred to practice manager Karina which possesses a very condescending attitude and was unable to express a simple apology for the wait, instead I was greeted with attitude after asking about a signature.I too work in the healthcare industry and know that this type of wait, especially for an urgent care is both unacceptable and subpar. Supposedly open at 9 so I took my time getting there only to find out they opened well before that and the waiting room is packed already. Had I known I would have got there sooner. My daughter was put on the list at 9:05am. After sitting in my car for nearly an hour with a sick kid, they called to inform me that a form was missing so my daughter was never even added to the list. Nearly a 2 hour wait time before she was finally seen. Very unorganized and very poor communication, I would go somewhere else. read more

I found out for a friend that the immediate care Center provided a different type of service that I needed. when I arrived there, I was not disappointed. The place was spotless. everyone was so nice. Needed a check up, since I hadn't been to my doctor in over 5 years, so I'd thought I'd give this place a try. I was very impressed... I actually am going to be switching over here for primary care, as with my doctor, (which rhymes with Tetz), I had trouble scheduling appointments, waited for an hour in the waiting room with every appointment, and always was treated like a number instead of a person by his office staff. Staff is nice until you have an issue with something they have done. Then they become rude and condescending. The Doctors are always very nice but it's not worth the 3 hour wait. People walking in after us were called before us. I was told they all called ahead. Which is not true because I'm close enough to hear them sign in. Won't be going back. read more

What a difference a year makes! I went in yesterday for a bad cough/sinus issues. The building is in disarray, understandably as they are in the process of moving. I first waited about 10 minutes before someone even came to the front counter to check me in. Then after being called, an obviously new "student" nurse practitioner introduced himself and did a minimal exam. Then he had to go check with the NP, leaving me in the room a while. He comes back with an NP, Monica, who proceeded to do a similar exam. And wow! She made me feel stupid and I can only imagine how she makes this poor student feel if this is how she talks to people. Very rude and condescending. Good luck with the new building if this is how your staff treats their patients. I've been going here since it opened...I won't be returning. read more

We've used this place many times in the past but it has become VERY apparent that they do not value their patients time. It is extremely frustrating to hear people having cheerful conversations while you've been stuck in a room for over 40 min. Thinking to myself is that my doctor I'm waiting to see just chilling and shooting the shit!?!? Nobody came to check on us or let us know that we were up next. Even after I opened the door they are all just sitting and typing on computers. ZERO sense of urgency for people who have been sitting and waiting. If you are going to serve the community during an pandemic I would hope that you have more than one person available to see the many people who need it. I have been here more times than I'd like to admit, and every experience has been made to be a pleasant one, no matter how severe my situation. Typically, Marc Sizemore sees me. On a occasion, I have been seen by Valerie Sizemore. They are both exceptional PA's! They really take their time with you and make sure that all of your needs are met. If any testing is required, it is all done locally through Kaweah Delta. I've received results as quickly as four hours! Truly amazing service by each of the staff members, from check-in to check-out to lab work. As a patient, you are treated with compassion and empathy by knowledgeable providers and nursing staff. Like I said, I can't say or write enough good things about ICC. I highly recommend this establishment. When I didn't hear anything for a day, I called and was told that they had the results and there is no break. No Break? Why haven't I been told? Something very gross about being seen in a room that features wicker lawn chairs with outdoor cushions that have Visual stains that appear to look like blood or other bodily fluid. My family is medically complicated and used to solely rely on the care of costly medical Specialists. Not anymore! Exceptional level of patient intuition and interaction at this clinic.
