Because my English is limited and your Spanish isn't good either, I made sure to write down and translate exactly what I wanted to say so I could explain it politely: "Hi Mena, I called you but you didn't answer. Since I left work early, I came because I had the time. It's not a big deal, I just don't like my haircut because it's flat and I want layers." At first, even though you only wanted to give me a lesson on how to style my hair, I said yes, I wanted your help. But when you started giving opinions about my face shape and telling me you had already done "many" layers, as if to say I didn't need more, that's when I decided to tell you no -- because it's not up to you to decide whether I like my own hair or not. However, the business owner can def do better especially given the situation and be Anything less than condescending. I will probably see if my coworker will consider another place. This was def a disjointed call. Clarity for others who may need this info: -They offer full receipts for reimbursement from your insurance company if your insurance offers the coverage (call your insurance to ask). -Wigs may cost between $60-200 depending on what you choose, based on your desires. -They do not offer wig trimming for products not purchased through them. - The owner emphasized having the accurate labeling of a Prosthesis Wig Prescription to get reimbursed by your insurance company and she gave an example that medi-caid doesn't cover it. A copy is not necessary for her as she charges the cost up front to the client.
