Asked him for a script for the nausea/vomiting... he refused. His treatment plan? "Lay down & sleep it off." (LITERALLY his words.) This doctor did not care at all about my discomfort or individual needs as a patient. Rude, discourteous, & insensitive bedside manner. Pompous & impersonal attitude too. Doctors like this that use a one-size-fits-all cookie cutter approach are a huge red flag to me, as all patients deserve an individualized treatment plan. Additionally, if a doctor isn't there for you for the simple routine things like post-op symptoms of pain & nausea/vomiting... they won't be there for you when a serious unexpected complication arises. He lost my trust & confidence in both the "caring & compassion" department, and the "lack of individualized patient care" department. If you want to be invalidated, discredited, disrespected, gaslit, and treated like garbage regarding your post-op needs... this guy is definitely your man.

Recently my brother and grandmother were treated at Cincinnati Oral Surgeons aka Lamping and Lucas…read more Dr. Lucas was the provider they saw and he was great! My brother had his wisdom teeth removed. The surgery went smooth and his recovery was very fast with no complications. He is a little old to be having his wisdom teeth removed so Dr. Lucas had his work cut out for him but did an amazing job. After that great experience we also had Dr. Lucas remove some teeth my grandmother was having trouble with. Her regular dentist wanted her to keep 2 out of the 3 teeth but Dr. Lucas made the decision to remove them all and we are so happy with that. I believe keeping those 2 teeth would of caused her more problems and cost her more money in the future. All the staff at the office is very helpful, nice and welcoming. The billing is great and any questions you may have are answered quickly and accurately. Thank you so much to everyone in the office for the care and compassion shown to my family!

I live out of state and she is in assisted living) and first asked if I was her mother! My mother is nearly 90. I said that I was her daughter. Then they told me they had her back in the chair, but couldn't do the work until payment was made. Not very friendly and seemed irritated that they had to call for the payment. So they do want the payment right then and there, prior to work being done. I found that unusual. I called back to see how things had gone (since she is elderly)and the girl said "it went ok. Your mother came in here with her driver who had her instructions." I already knew that part! They seemed annoyed with us. Not that friendly on the phone, but they do get the work done.

Dr. Cassidy was strongly recommended for my mother's tooth extraction by our dentist (who we trust implicitly) but seemed irritated or impatient with my mom's ALZ and anxiety. I understand that those behaviors are challenging and upsetting for some people but it has me in tears thinking of his interaction with her at the consult and on the day of the extraction. He was cold, brusque, and talked over the top of my mother as she was speaking. One of my mother's behaviors is repeating herself or asking the same question again and again. This was not received well by the doctor, and his tone made that clear. When he showed this behavior at the consult, I chalked it up to a busy or not great day for him. To see it again yesterday was heartbreaking. I wish more than ever that I could have been permitted to be with her during the procedure. How did he behave with her when I wasn't in the room? The staff were all extremely kind and pleasant, including a word of compassion from the staff member who wheeled my mom to the car. I felt compelled to share my impressions and perception of our family's experience.

Thankfully, Dr. Cassidy took my concerns very seriously and got me through the surgery with absolutely no noticeable stress to my jaw. The entire staff here was very knowledgeable and professional. All of my appointments ran on time. Though Dr. Cassidy and his associate run three separate offices in the area, this did not impact his availability. You can schedule your surgery in a different location from your consult if it works into your schedule better. Dr. Cassidy even called me to see how I was doing the evening after my surgery. He and his staff take good care of you.
