In the past I've waited 30-45 minutes past my appointment time just to be seen, even when I arrive right on schedule. Not here, every time I've arrived on time I've been taken back with 5 minutes and Dr. Larson does the entire cleaning himself. Most other places use those metal picks that jab and poke at your gums leaving them tender for hours. At Dr. Larson's he uses a water pick; highly effective and not even a fraction as painful (although the over spray can get on your face - small price to pay imo). Staff is friendly and patient. Prices are competitive. Excellent denist...and I don't really like the process so that's saying a lot for me.

Once about our insurance declining (and when we called the insurance company, they confirmed they never even ran a check of our insurance). The second time was telling my spouse wrong information about the condition of his mouth and what was needed for it. We have since found a new dentist, and found that if we had gone through the plan that Powers place had, it would have worsened things and been far more expensive for very little to show for it. Absolutely disgusted by the service the past few times I went. Lady at the desk was incredibly rude and nosey, and repeatedly made my spouse feel self conscious over the situation and the fact that we did not financially have the ability to get the priciest options. Very poor quality of care. Went to a new dentist recently, and most of the things we had been told in the past from Powers was wrong, and things that SHOULD of been addressed (that we were told were "no big deal" ended up needing adressing) Never again.

There is a nice waiting area and this year they have upgraded to digital x-rays and you can even watch TV while your teeth get worked on. In walks the Office Manager, rudely informing me that she was tired of me asking these questions. Things then escalated with her hostility until I walked out of the treatment room, heading to the front desk. When politely requesting to talk with Dr. Brooks, this office manager, who followed me out demanded that I would not see Dr. Brooks, and if I persisted, she would CALL THE COPS. My Husband has had his appointment cancelled and pushed back a total of 4 times. We also went 2 years with lack of dental care with the dentist that works here. The lady middle aged woman. Another lady up front claimed I was super smart to bring a mirror to check the quality of my cleaning cause all few times she did a horrible job. Last appointment before my previous one the dentist here left calculus rings around my back teeth and stain's on the two front teeth. She also ordered that my teeth were healthy no cavities at that time. Since that appointment 2 years ago I need 12,500.00 of work on my teeth, so she says. I will be having a second opinion here. This appointment I went to the dentist told me my whole entire bottom row needed crowns but couldn't give me tooth numbers to tell me which ones. Or give me reasonings to why, when I asked. She told me I needed 5 fillings on top and she did 10 when I came in. Now I was on Medicaid at the time, but just because I am poor does that give her any right to treat me like trash. She didn't make this any more comfortable, by jiggling my face while she gave me my shot. Looked me in my eye evilly, and shook my face. While doing so caused me great pain. And she could tell I had anxiety about this. I said owww and she wouldn't listen. So I said damn it. And she said I needed to calm down In front of her other patients. As if we aren't in a doctor's office where things might hurt, and she wasn't listening to my cry! She didn't soothe anything. Made me so terrified to ever go back to a dentist. Matter of fact, she fails to do routine check ups every 6 months recommends them once a year or every other year. Also she fails to educate on how to care for the teeth properly. Least with me she didn't. And after her year off for maternity leave has decided to start to crown every tooth I have in my mouth. Just throw a 1300.00 crown on them all, that'll do it. I felt taken advantage of. I feel like she didn't take good care of me at all. I bought a tool off Amazon and cleaned my own teeth way better than her. I wanted to try to give her the benefit of the doubt, but when she was doing my fillings my back tooth hurt a lot. Something popped. It has never gotten better or stopped hurting. I 100% think this place should be investigated by the board or something. I didn't want to write a bad review out of anger so I've waited to see how my teeth have held up. Seems like every back tooth (all four) have been left without care for a while. I wonder if there's something to that? Like a more bang for your buck type of deal. I guess all the crowns she offers will replace for the lack of routine dental care available here. And the year long maternity leave. I will never ever be going back here! If I could, I'd give them a -10 stars! And I'm not angry anymore. Just confused why a medical professional is involved in this type of behavior.

I had a root canal about a week ago and my experience was good for the most part. When I first…read morescheduled my appt....... the staff was nice and quick to respond. They answered all question and was very helpful. This was ultimately why I stopped shopping around and went with them even though there were about 25 mins away from me. A day or two days before service, I received a text to confirm my appt. But due to me being under the weather I was unable to respond right away and kinda forgot about the text. That prompted Casey to send me another text, within 12hours, were she basically said I would be assessed a charge if I didn't make the appt. The tone of the message was a little off putting :( but I let it go because of the prior interactions with them. On the day of service, the location of the office was ok to find. it was right by the highway but I do think they should invest in some signage at the entry and down the driveway because they are a small office off in the corner of an office strip mall. My first impression of the office was, it was small. but nice. the furniture in the waiting room was ok for the space they had. The area rug could use some updating but for the most part it was welcoming. The office staff didn't seem as friendly as they were in prior interactions. Which seemed odd considering I spoke to them several time prior to the appt about payment, insurance and scheduling. But I wrote it off to it being early in the morning. I was called back within 10 mins of me getting there. The Nurse was nice but not really social. I felt she could have been a little more inviting considering the nature of the appt. She kept in short and sweet. However, she did explain more as the appt went on but there was not a lot of reassurance. When the Dr. came in, he was nice. He didnt have a good bedside manner but he was pleasant. He was effective and quick. I only felt pain for a moment and when I did, he quickly fixed the problem. He was a little heavy handed, like pulling on my jaw several time as he was trying to get to the tooth. It was uncomfortable but not enough to make him stop. When he was done, he said his good byes and went to the next patient. It was a business transaction to him. Another patient and that is it. Overall, I was please with my appt. Could they have been a little more warm and inviting..... Yes! Could the nurse explain the detail of aftercare instead of giving me paperwork and telling me not to eat on that side....... YES! Could Dr. Lawley had a better bedside manner......YES! But for the most part, the job got done without any issues. I would recommend this company for their efficiency to get the job done. But I would not recommend them for their in-person interactions. People are nervous and scared to have this kind of dental work done and Dr. Lawley's office should be sensitive to that. Bedside manner is just as important as getting the job done.

Recently had a root canal on a back molar. I was referred here from my dentist because my previous…read moredentist didn't do a complete job. She was guessing that was because it was hard to get all the roots. Dr. Lawley did a fantastic job. He had me come for an initial consultation and xrays. He gave me several options to choose from along with his recommendation. Based on that I scheduled the procedure. It went well eventhough the tooth was stubborn. He was very patient and calm. He did a great job in administering the novocane. I didn't feel a thing. I like how they give you headphones and a galaxy Note to pick music to listen to. His assistant was very calming! Left with instructions and follow-up to my dentist. Assistant called 2 days later to checkup on me. I would definitely go there again! Highly recommend!
