One of those things has been tooth pain and finding out I needed to have a root canal before leaving. I was referred to Uzzel Dental Group by a friend and they were able to schedule to see me within two weeks. Dr. Uzzel is the most gentle, kind, and exceptionally talented Dentist I have ever been treated by. He and his staff have been clear with all that is going on and how they would treat it. Dr. Kristy Bultema at Beavercreek Endodontics who he referred to perform my root canal itself was warm and comforting (even after having some not so fun side effects from the numbing agent) and did an amazing job. Then to top it all off due to some PCSing gymnastics I had to wait at Dr. Uzzel's office for a couple of hours after walking across the street from having my root canal done to put the permanent crown on and his staff has been absolutely amazing. (To reiterate the wait was not their fault it was due to PCSing fun. If anything it was a huge favor to squeeze me in before our out processing date.) His staff has taken care of me all morning. Treating me like family. Even giving me snacks and making sure I have been comfortable. Additionally, I had a beautiful connection with a fellow patient that was extremely encouraging. I would recommend Uzzel Dental Group and Beavercreek Endodontics to anyone looking for dental care in the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base area. Especially for those of you that might have aversions to going to the dentist.

They answered all question and was very helpful. This was ultimately why I stopped shopping around and went with them even though there were about 25 mins away from me. A day or two days before service, I received a text to confirm my appt. But due to me being under the weather I was unable to respond right away and kinda forgot about the text. That prompted Casey to send me another text, within 12hours, were she basically said I would be assessed a charge if I didn't make the appt. The tone of the message was a little off putting :( but I let it go because of the prior interactions with them. On the day of service, the location of the office was ok to find. it was right by the highway but I do think they should invest in some signage at the entry and down the driveway because they are a small office off in the corner of an office strip mall. My first impression of the office was, it was small. but nice. the furniture in the waiting room was ok for the space they had. The area rug could use some updating but for the most part it was welcoming. The office staff didn't seem as friendly as they were in prior interactions. Which seemed odd considering I spoke to them several time prior to the appt about payment, insurance and scheduling. But I wrote it off to it being early in the morning. I was called back within 10 mins of me getting there. The Nurse was nice but not really social. I felt she could have been a little more inviting considering the nature of the appt. She kept in short and sweet. However, she did explain more as the appt went on but there was not a lot of reassurance. When the Dr. came in, he was nice. He didnt have a good bedside manner but he was pleasant. He was effective and quick. I only felt pain for a moment and when I did, he quickly fixed the problem. He was a little heavy handed, like pulling on my jaw several time as he was trying to get to the tooth. It was uncomfortable but not enough to make him stop. When he was done, he said his good byes and went to the next patient. It was a business transaction to him. Another patient and that is it. Overall, I was please with my appt. Could they have been a little more warm and inviting..... Yes! Could the nurse explain the detail of aftercare instead of giving me paperwork and telling me not to eat on that side....... YES! Could Dr. Lawley had a better bedside manner......YES! But for the most part, the job got done without any issues. I would recommend this company for their efficiency to get the job done. But I would not recommend them for their in-person interactions. People are nervous and scared to have this kind of dental work done and Dr. Lawley's office should be sensitive to that. Bedside manner is just as important as getting the job done.

    Recently had a root canal on a back molar. I was referred here from my dentist because my previous…read moredentist didn't do a complete job. She was guessing that was because it was hard to get all the roots. Dr. Lawley did a fantastic job. He had me come for an initial consultation and xrays. He gave me several options to choose from along with his recommendation. Based on that I scheduled the procedure. It went well eventhough the tooth was stubborn. He was very patient and calm. He did a great job in administering the novocane. I didn't feel a thing. I like how they give you headphones and a galaxy Note to pick music to listen to. His assistant was very calming! Left with instructions and follow-up to my dentist. Assistant called 2 days later to checkup on me. I would definitely go there again! Highly recommend!

My dentist recommended Dr. Mihailoff. The procedure this time around was the total opposite of my previous experience. In fact, it was both quick and totally pain free during and after the surgery. Dr. Mihailoff provided a running narrative during the operation which I found informative and reassuring. The entire procedure lasted about 30 minutes. IMO, I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. If you need a root canal, this is the doctor you want to see!

They will not verify your insurance or tell you the cost prior to a procedure even after providing insurance information (assuming the procedure is covered because... you just gave them your insurance information and their job is to verify it) they will make it seem like you are "good to go" & after trying to fix the issue with the office manager and instead it was her trying to argue with me that I myself should be "asking" how much it cost and verifying my own insurance prior (so what's her job there?) & all I got was "let this be a learning lesson for you" WOW was all I could think. Stay on the look out for the full details on this horrible experience as I will be working with the local paper to publish this story on how a business is not observing the Ohio Healthcare Price Transparency Law (HB 52)

My dentist recommended Dr. Bramy and I quickly found out why. He and his staff are professional, informative, and kind! I have some anxiety towards root canals because I had a bad experience years ago. Dr. Bramy ensured me I'd feel no pain and patiently explained the procedure before he started. I was done within an hour and there were no issues. The second visit was what my dentist (and I) thought was going to be another root canal about a year later. Dr. Bramy uses state of the art equipment and after doing the scans, assured me my tooth did not need a root canal. I can't tell you not only how relieved I was, but mostly how much I appreciated his sincere honesty! Fast forward to yesterday: I saw Dr. Bramy a few weeks ago and indeed did need another root canal. The soonest they could get me in was a few weeks later. A few days ago I called and explained the constant pain I was experiencing, so I was put on a cancellation list. Christy from Dr. Bramy's office called yesterday and said they could get me in that day. Dr. Bramy started with the usual numbing procedure, and came back 15 minutes later to check and see how I felt. My tooth still hurt, so he administered more. Again, 15 minutes went by and the tooth still hurt, so he gave me more. Fifteen minutes later, it was better but he will not start until you can feel no pain and I especially appreciate that! He then did some different kind of numbing procedure. That almost did it, but again, he isn't satisfied until you are completely numb. The last one finally did the trick. I want to emphasize, I didn't feel rushed at all. He also never expressed frustration, only patience and kindness. His assitant was also so comapssionate. The roots on this molar were difficult to get to but Dr. Bramy and his assitant worked flawlessly together. They also do another scan after the prodedure to make sure it was successfully completed. I definitely recommend Dr. Eric Bramy and his staff very highly!
