They were very nice and patient. They also didn't argue with each other at the drive through like some do and they were very fast. Food is amazing as always!

We arrived and to our surprise were actually greeted by a friendly employee. He patiently took our order. You first timers and all. The menu was simple. Ham, Turkey and Roast Beef are the stars of the show. Hot dog looked great but having been at the ball park the day before it was not on the must try's. There was also salad and chicken which didn't peak our interest. In our group we had someone try the ham sandwich and the turkey. Both were big hits. The block sandwich had all three meats and it was a tasty blend of goodness. The baked potato was simple and delicious. And the fries were perhaps not the best but good. The Mac and cheese was another big hit. We didn't dine in but I want to say their dining room was nicely decorated and extremely clean. After the experiences we have had at other establishments in the area this was a refreshing and welcome change. This was restaurant is economical for the amount of food you receive.

Roast beef was good. Salty but tasty. My husband had the Mac and cheese and enjoyed it. Service was quick at the counter.

It is really hard to find boudin balls on menus outside of Louisiana so we had to try them. Wow! So good! They come in a plate of 4 with template and brown mustard to dip. We found out that they make them in house, and apparently will make boudin empanadas from time to time, def want to come back to try those! I ordered the Queban Po Boy with a side of Mac n cheese. The sandwich had beautiful smoked hame and bbq pulled pork with pickles-- really tasty. I only ate half of it and saved the second half for lunch. The Mac n cheese is a tasty white sauce with shells and I nearly licked the bowl clean. My husband ordered the smoked half chicken with BBQ beans and the red beans and rice. The red beans and rice was easily the best I have had. Perfectly seasoned with every bite. The smoked chicken was good and not dry, a VERY common mistake for smoked chicken. Kids menu includes Mac n cheese, chicken bites, burger slider, and one other. All come with seasoned crinkle fries. My girls loved the Mac n cheese and the French fries. My aunt and uncle both got the brisket platter and really enjoyed their food as well. They spoke highly of the brisket and the cole slaw. The pit master came and spoke with us which was really cool! We learned that his mentor is a competition gumbo champion in Louisiana so his menu reflects the down home Louisiana wonderfulness! He also told us about the boudin empanadas that they make occasionally. Now if only they were closer to home for me ...

I love an authentic Route 66 stop, and this is certainly one of those. From the road, it's difficult to tell how big the place actually is. Once inside, it opens up and really shares its character. We went on a Thursday evening, and it was packed, but not uncomfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone. Our server was friendly and efficient, and she seemed genuinely invested in customer experiences. Our food was outstanding, and there was plenty of it! We even had room for dessert: a chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. It was the size of a dinner plate! This was an outstanding indulgence, and I can't wait to have another one, as soon as my glycemic index allows. LOL The restrooms were pretty darn rough. Urine all over the floor, overflowing trash can, filthy toilet, etc., gave the impression that it hadn't been cleaned since the Route 66 days. Here, I am not focusing on that, since it's not what we came here for. Our overall experience was fantastic and memorable. We look forward to returning to this special historic establishment.

Our favorites would be the classic country fried steak and the chicken pot pie! I would recommend going earlier if you want to try any of the desserts (so worth it!!); whenever we go for dinner there's limited options since most are sold out by then. There's also an ATM machine if needed!

We were both pleasantly surprised at the decor, menu, etc. Reminded us of County Donegal. I started w Stella, Seamus w water. We then split a basket of fried mushrooms w "shamrock sauce". Excellent w a hint of horseradish. On to one of the specials - Irish meatloaf w green beans and smashed spuds. Both of us. We offered kudos to one of the chefs. The meatloaf consisted of ground beast, corned beast, chunks of carrots and other veggies. The spuds were infused w rosemary (not sure of her last name). The beans were paired w fried onions and bacon. A rich gravy accompanied the meal. Our server, Grace, was graceful, friendly, attentive, and efficient. All in all, a fantastic meal. 15 leprechauns; 5 for O'Dells, 10 for Grace Highly recommended

Due to the holiday, there was a bit of a wait, but the servers were quite attentive in making sure we knew we would be seated as soon as possible. We were sat at a high top near the bar. This spot definitely has a pub, quaint feel to it which I definitely appreciate. The servers were prompt and helpful in getting our orders in. I ordered a Caesar salad and Dublin dip. The salad was good and fresh, and I liked the dressing. The Dublin dip was good as well, it came out a bit colder than I prefer but the flavors with the provel were good. Fries were tasty and crispy. I had a bite of my SILs corned beef she ordered and that was delicious. I'd return!

I read about this place somewhere and added it to the list and we tried it tonight! The patio was empty. I'm guessing it was because it was near 100 degrees. The bar area was pretty full and the dining room was fairly busy when we got there, but we were greeted and seated right away. Our server was pretty new, but she was friendly and gave us some recommendations. The menu looked great so it took us a few minutes to make our choices. We started with drinks and I ordered the Blue Heeler which was nice and summery and refreshing. My husband ordered a beer. We decided to start with the Fried Lobster Bites. We each ordered a sandwich and we split them between the two of us. We got the Local House Burger and the Reuben. We chose fries for our sides. I know the Fried Lobster Bites are popular, but we're not fans. They were too salty, very heavily breaded and the lobster wasn't great. We won't get those again. Both the burger and the Reuben were really good! We ate the Reuben first because the bottom piece of bread was already getting a little soggy (not sure that I've ever had one that didn't get a little soggy). There was a lot of meat on it! The burger was good, but I was already full and only had a few bites. The fries were also very good! We'll definitely be going back!
