Our homeowners warranty insurance referred us to Lionhearted Roofing. After calling James to set up an appointment, within a few days Joshua and Robert were here to do the estimate and within a few days the repair was done. Even after the warranty denied the claim, we knew we were going to have them do the job and the price was so fair. We had had some minor roof and gutter problems a few years ago and with just labor and no materials a with another (Knox) company that charged us 3 times the price James charged us to replace two vents and repair tiles. The Lionheart Roofing team came to our rescue after a speeding car crashed through our garage. Although the accident happened very early in the morning, Robert and members of his crew responded to our call for help right away and, together with a hardworking crew from Done Right Fire and Flood, worked tirelessly past midnight to ensure the structure was stabilized & secured that same day. After a structural engineer confirmed Robert's initial assessment that the damage done to the roof was so extensive it required replacement, we didn't hesitate to have Lionheart back to do the job. And what an EXCELLENT job they did! The materials used were of the highest quality and, thanks to the skills, knowledge, professionalism and commendable work ethic and attention to detail demonstrated by everyone on the Lionheart crew, so was the final result. From the initial tear-off to the meticulous job they did cleaning up after the roof was finished, each step in the process was accomplished on-time and we were kept well informed along the way. With 45 years in the construction trade I have seen those companies that give the rest of the contractors a bad name but let me tell you this, Lionheart Roofing ISN'T ONE OF THEM! In all of my years I would have to rate this family owned business as ONE OF THE BEST I have ever seen, bar none! James, Robert and Josh are great human beings to start with and they know their business, inside and out. To see the actual owners of the company on the roof with their crew working shoulder to shoulder is just something you don't see much of anymore. Their crew is very respectful of your property as well as you as a person, that says a lot about a company in itself. Their prices are very competitive price wise but they actually give you more than just roof repairs. They see something wrong outside of the roof itself, they take care of it. While they were replacing my roof they cleaned out my gutters, repaired sheet metal and siding issues as well as repaired my patio cover that has been leaking for the 10 years I have had it (this was part of the original bid). The company that installed the patio cover was one of those contractors I spoke of in my first sentence. Excellent quality of workmanship, very thorough and great communication are just a few of the great qualities Lionheart Roofing displayed throughout the process. I had several roof tiles lifting on a fairly new house (about 5 years old) on one side of my roof that catches a lot of wind coming in from the north because it faces a wide open field about a mile long. Being fairly new to the area I went to Yelp to check for reviews of the roofers in the area. Lionheart popped up with great reviews so they were my first call. James took my call and said somebody would be out towards the end of the day. Not knowing what to expect I called a few other companies and they made appointments for the following day. One wanted a service fee just to look at the roof. Aound 3:00 I got a text from Joshua saying he was on his way. He and Robert showed up and checked out the roof tiles. I was watching from the ground as they lifted several tiles with ease. I was a bit surprised at how easy they came up. After they came off they told me what's going on with full disclosure. I wasn't happy because we we've been dealing with bad news for the last few months. They also mentioned it was a small job, but insurance might cover it. When they heard who we were insured with they informed me that the company was the worst when it came to exterior claims and they probably would'nt cover. Almost forgot, James the owner of the roofing company showed up after the initial inspection and ran a drone over the roof. We all conversed a while and I just figured they'd send me an estimate later. we said goodbye and I went and sat in front of the house. They talked for a few minutes and afterward Joshua Came over to me, had a seat next to me, and asked if it would be okay if they did the repair for free. I was completely blown away. After all we're going through the Lord sent us an angel of hope. The next day, yesterday, Robert came and did the repair. These guys: James Robert, and Joshua are awesome people. I won't be looking to any other roofer should I need another job taken care of. Not because they did my repair for free, but because of the quality of people they are. James, Joshua, Robert, Thank you for your generosity and restoring my faith. Not sure you realize just how much your act of kindness means to us, but it really means a lot.
