I am always greeted warmly by the volunteers, and strike up genuine conversations each trip. The shelves are abundant but still well-organized, offering everything from home decor to utilities to crafting supplies. Prices are fair and affordable, which is so refreshing amidst the overcharging of big corporations. I appreciate this especially as a college student on a budget. And every purchase I make goes toward the most precious animals! I visit them frequently, too. :) I'm so excited for the opportunities that their relocation and expansion will bring; I can't wait to swing by the animal corner at the front once it's been developed!

There's an eclectic mix of stuff. Prices can be just OK or totally super value. I always have to make sure I have a wad of cash if I go in because it's a rare day that I leave empty handed. Fun dishes, kitchen implements, groovy clothes, hats, random bits of hardware, and who even knows WHAT you'll find. Sometimes I just have to leave things I want because I already have enough stuff. But wow. Just wow. Then there's the staff. Is it OK to call them staff? They are volunteers. They do their work because they love the Humane Society. You know what? That's awesome too! Their revenue goes to the local Humane Society and provides over a quarter of the Humane Society's annual budget. That's huge. The staff is also friendly and helpful. I better get on down there; it's been a couple days!

Two bins of Lego's over $100. I wonder if they ever sell anything at those prices. They do have a "sale" section. But it's a "thrift" store, why would you have a "sale" section.. Well because the prices are so high. I dunno, I don't think we will be back because we have so many real thrift stores around here that are thrift store prices. The people that worked there were nice, but that doesn't help the prices unfortunately.

Testing is cheap and easy I found out.. especially for a store that gets everything for free. Signage about the risk could be another solution, again very cheap. At the very least what I called asking for was a refund and explained why and the guy on the phone was extremely rude and made it clear that he could care less (apparently he is the manager). I will never shop here again because if he cares this little about customers growing a literal human being imagine how he treats his employees!

It feels like a cross between Night at the Museum and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. VERY very well curated. The natural history specimens and science objects were my favorite. It is so refreshing to walk into a shop full of all the amazing curiosities you will never ever see in a big-box store. It has something for everyone. I kept finding so many new things to look at that I apologized to the owner for loitering! This place is a total treasure in downtown Corvallis!

Ended up picking up bar stools for a fraction of the cost at any of the store nearby, and even ikea. We love them and have come back many times for various other furniture. It appears to possibly be consignment of different vendors, as they have multiple collections throughout that are grouped together by theme. This is a fun place to hunt and peck for vintage, but we also noticed that pricing here was higher than expected: hence the name "antique mall."
