The clothes here are okay, but I don't really come here for clothes. I'm 13. Not a mature, sensible, older woman who comes to buy her stockings and pencil skirts. I come for mostly the cosmetics! Sometimes, depending who's working, the women at the makeup counter can be neutral to downright rude. I recently went there, and there were a bunch of girls who talked and gossiped behind the counter, uninterested to really help the costumers. A blonde girl with bangs came up to me and asked in a sharp voice if I wanted to see anything in particular, and I politely declined. She went back to her friends. When I was looking at lipsticks, I asked if I could try one on, and she huffed and gave me a look, like "Really, bitch?" I tried on a few more, and she just looked at me like "Can you just buy something and get out? HURRY UP ALREADY." Ugh. read more

I came here for Estee Lauder cosmetics. Started buying clothing here due to the fact they have some great styles and even better sales at the end of summer. The clothes I have recently bought hold up under wear and washings. Can't say that about some local department store pieces. I enjoy stepping into the shop when I am in Corvallis, may not always buy, but great to see what's in. The fall clothes look great! Check it out, it's not just your mamma's store... AND... the sales staff are helpful and extremely pleasant. They make you feel good to be in their store... again, different from some of the local department stores! read more

I was looking on face book to see the new arrivals for the Clothes Tree in Eugene. I noticed the large cover photo and was happy to see that my favorite gal was still working there. I arrived at the shop and not a soul in the store. I said "hello" and out came a gal from the back after about 5 minutes. I asked for the gal that always helped me but was told she had been gone for several months. I later learned that most of the people pictured in that photo are gone as well. This store is great! I heard that it recently got a new owner who has been bringing in other lines that are targeted towards all age ranges. I think that the employees are passionate, helpful, and personal with their customers. They know what to help me look for and are always willing to give their most honest opinions. If I cant find what I need in my size they are never hesitant to check on making a special order for me. Its so great! I always feel so welcome and never leave empty handed. I also come in for cosmetics and the makeup artists behind the counter are always knowledgeable and willing to help with any questions I have. They are great at color matching and I've seen them do makeovers before and they do flawless work! Thy are always willing to call when something comes in that I've been waiting for. It adds a nice personal touch. All and all I'm a big fan of this store. I've been shopping here a long time and I love the changes that have come through. Best clothing store in Corvallis! This is a great women's clothing store for the "mature working woman" or "local community leader" who needs classic, contemporary wear. The clothes are simple, stylish, and conservative with brands like Joseph Ribkoff. This means - Don't come here looking for distressed jeans. However, this is the ONLY place in Corvallis that has a decent selection of gorgeous dresses and evening gowns. I found a gorgeous little black dress here that has a traditional style that will last for years. Last but not least, you can buy Clinique and Estee Lauder cosmetics here - I go here for my Clinique berry stain, the most all purpose lip stain in the world.
