Ruth is the sweetest!!! She fit my mom for a bra and a prosthesis last week. She was patient and kind and very knowledgeable. It was a great experience working with her. My mom received her order today in the mail and sweet Ruth included a free swimsuit for my mom!!! My mom had told her story about how much she loves to swim and trying to swim with her prosthesis can prove very difficult and embarrassing at times. My wife and I came in today at the recommendation of a good friend of ours for a fitting saying they would do a much better job at fitting us then (insert competitors name here) (Some background) We are both full-time out and proud transgender women. I have recently completed all my surgical stuff and my wife is well on her way to doing so. we are both legally female.. right down to our birth certificate. Not a fetish, Not temporary. Anyhow, so we both came in and Jill helped me, and she was completely awesome. Helping me to select something that had the perfect fit. Kimberly helped my wife out and gave her a couple to choose from and then said "well I guess that exhausts our options" and we basically did not see her again. As we were both getting dressed once more I heard a voice on the other side of the curtain ask me if I had "the surgery" yet. I just responded "yes" because I had nothing to hide. We went up front with our selections and Jill explained to us that one of her coworkers was freaking out because (I forget the exact words) but what I gathered because she did not feel we were "real" Jill gave us her card and explained that we could call and see if she was working and she would gladly help us but she did not know how welcomed we would be there again and that she did not know the owners feelings on the subject. Overall the experience was (OKAY) but I am not sure if this was money well spent. Recommending that my friends and family NOT shop here. read more

Donna Bella's return policy sucks. I will never go back. Paid 70 for bra I can't return because after the 10 day return policy. I finally broke down put it on yesterday (brought it on 9-19-17)and I couldn't ware it for only couple of hours had to go home and change it. The underwires were poking me so bad it was making marks. Get your bras here! Their selection is surprisingly large for a local store-- whether your average-sized or hard to fit, they have bras for you. They have sizes up through H cups, and they even have pretty bras in the large cup sizes! I was blown away that a place with their selection is here in Corvallis and not a bigger town. Service is speedy yet very friendly and helpful. They will custom-fit you, which makes all the difference in the world (I've apparently been wearing the wrong size all this time, and having the right size is a whole different world)!! That's the short, now for the long if you want detail. My first trip there, the owner, I think, measured me, told me what size I needed, asked what I was looking for, then brought tons of great bras in. She showed me what constituted a good fit and what didn't, I learned so much! And all in record time, I've never had such a speedy, satisfying bra-shopping trip! And the staff will be honest with you-- say you find a bra that you LOVE but doesn't quite fit right, yet doesn't come one size larger... if you can't decide whether to get it or not, they'll be straight with you and say "it doesn't fit, I don't recommend it," not "oh, it's perfect, let me get you one in every color!" I know this one from experience. :) Their honest, no-pressure approach to selling their merchandise is refreshing. As for price, they're on par with department stores. I can be kind of cheap and will only pay premium prices when it's warranted (i.e. I will pay for quality but could care less about name brands), and this is absolutely one of those cases. Having beautiful, comfortable bras that fit and last is well worth it. At Donna Bella I've had the quickest, easiest and most satisfying bra shopping excursions ever (that's saying a lot. While i don't generally discuss where I buy my lingerie or how it fits for Donna Bella I'm making an exception. The owner Susan and her staff all know how to fit a bra (and let's face it gals - if the undergarment doesn't fit right the outfit just won't work). Proper fit is crucial and makes the clothes work. The last time i was "fitted" it was at a large chain that doesn't carry much in my size so what they told me I should wear was wrong, i had sore shoulders and was always trying to adjust my bra.. Now that I've experienced the difference I'm hooked - prices are a bit higher than at a chain store but you will get better quality, fit and service. read more

I went in to find a bra for my 90 year old mother, armed just with a tag from another bra she'd had for awhile. The ladies who work there were exceptionally friendly and found exactly what I needed. I love Donna Bella!! All women need to get fitted for a bra you don't realize how easy it is to wear the wrong size bra and it is AMAZING to finally have bras that fit correctly! The girls there were very friendly and helpful and made me feel super comfortable. I'm not too shy about underwear or being naked so it didn't bother me but I went with someone who is not comfortable with any of that and they were very professional and did their job well! I would recommend this store to anyone they have lots of cute fun "special occasion" bras, panties, etc. along with more practical undergarments for everyday wear. We decided to go here because of the idea of getting a good fitting bra and not feeling like we dont fit in with the norm of 32-36c. I thought a good professional certified fitter would be helpful. However, they "no longer carry most sizes". Finding anything in a B or C was not possible. And band widths are ONLY 30-38. To make matter worse, the "trying to be helpful" but just trying to make a sale person offered a "mastectomy" bra in her size!!!! (that's all she had) REALLY? That was just wrong. Price range for a decent bra (keep in mind the size ranges are only 30-38 d-f, was around 100-160. Rather high. Overall, it was a rather horrid experience. We ended up at Woodburn Outlets which also has certified fitters and tons of bras in many sizes. read more

Customer service is awful :( I normally love supporting local businesses but I definitely will not be going back. I not only was disappointed in their merchandise and how my friend had to educate their employee on their product but was also disappointed in how we were treated. If you have the time I personally would recommend Nordstroms or posh lingerie up in Bridgeport village. After 3 disappointing experiences here in the last 6 months I will not be going back or recommending it to anyone. Customer service goes along ways. read more

I have wanted to visit Donna Bella since I moved to Corvallis, and am I ever glad I did! The staff are very professional. I was maybe in the store for 3 or 4 minutes looking a little lost before someone asked if they could help me. I was promptly sized and give very personal, attentive help in finding bras that work for me. I require a larger cup and band size and the staff were able to find me many options, including some very pretty options. I also put in a special order for a color that they didn't carry in store. Maddy (the associate who helped me) was super helpful and nice. She took all the worry and frustration out of bra shopping. Be prepared to spend some serious money, but I feel like it is well worth it to have quality, comfortable bras. I've also price checked their products online and they are very competitive for the brands they carry. Better to get fit in person, than take your chances online! read more

I've purchased lingerie here on 3 occasions. I like that there is a local store where I can find bras in my difficult-to-find size (small band with large cup). They have a decent selection and quality products, but prices are $5-10 more than I would find on Amazon or even Nordstrom. I was most impressed with my first visit--I was properly fitted and educated, and found a great nursing bra. The second time I was less impressed--I needed a sports bra, and the salesperson gave me a bra in what seemed like the correct size, only the cups were WAY too big. I mentioned this, and she tried to talk me into thinking it fit okay, even though it clearly didn't. Turns out the bra (Panache) used UK sizing, which is off by two cup sizes compared to US sizing (e.g. US 34H = UK 34 FF). After I was adamant that it was too big, she said that some brands just fit differently, and maybe it wasn't the right brand for me. I requested to on a smaller size, in spite of the salesperson's doubts, and it fit perfect--imagine that! My third time in, I needed a strapless bra, and was given only two choices to try on. One fit fairly well, and the other had cup sizes that were again way too big (Freya - another UK brand). I stated this to the salesperson, and she tried to convince me that it "just came up higher for more coverage" and that it actually did fit me. I could see down the cups to my nipples because the gap was so big! Instead of offering me another choice to try on, she just told me to think about which one I liked and bring it to the front when I was done. Thankfully the first bra did fit, and I was in a hurry, so I bought it. However, I felt like she was trying to rush me out and didn't really care. At a specialty store like this, the staff should be aware of difference in size equivalents between different brands, particularly the UK brands. And when a customer says it doesn't fit, at least take the time to consider if the customer is right, and don't just try to convince her it really does fit! These experiences left me feeling like they didn't really care and that they were just trying to sell me what they had in stock even if it didn't fit. I also lost confidence in their competence. I will likely go elsewhere in the future. read more
