Real New York Chinese food in Seneca Falls. I came here a while back during the trip to upstate New York to see family, and the quality of Chinese food. Here is better than what we have in Orlando by far! This place is just a regular hole in the wall with a couple of old dining tables and chairs, and it is by far some of the best Chinese food I've ever had ! We ordered the food at the counter and we brought it to us when it was ready. It was massive platters of orange chicken and some really good crab Rangoon. My mom got the fried rice. Only went here because all the other Chinese restaurants in town were closed and was craving Chinese,we also thought this would be a sit down restaurant so don't be fooled. When we got there we placed our order thinking it can't be that bad right, wrong. The tables hard and wooden same with all the benches, and the heater is right in the middle of the restaurant. Easy online ordering process, received confirmation email and could track my order (through door dash) you do have to pay at the restaurant though. That's no problem for me. I placed an order through Door Dash on Sunday and realized that I used the wrong card. I quickly canceled the order within three minutes before the order was even prepared. In the Door Dash app, it stated I would receive. a refund in two to three business days. It's Wednesday now and I have still yet to receive a refund. The restaurant says it's DoorDash is responsibility. DoorDash says it's the restaurants responsibility and everybody else is trying to blame my bank when they're the ones that are supposed to place the money back in for a refund. No personal accountability one the part of the merchant or Door Dash. The owner of the establishment stated that they were not going to open up their register to give back the money they didn't even offer a resolution that worked for myself the customer and my bank. Be weary if you use DoorDash to purchase your item and change your mind because you could be waiting 2 to 3 weeks to receive your money well the merchant sits and hold it until they decide to do their banking. My boyfriend and I love this place compared to the Chinese restaurant across the street. The food has always been good and service very quick. Points taken for lack of delivery and the interior of the restaurant. Granted, this is more of a take away place, but the one time we ate in we were competing against gnats and a ceiling spider for our food, and left feeling dirty. The whole inside looks dilapidated. Decent Americanized Chinese food with a competitor across the street with a much nicer storefront. Of the two places, the food is often better here if the older female is cooking. The food is definitely higher quality than those buffet style restaurants. Really loved the online ordering feature. I was able to place my order at work and new my total before I arrived. I remember eating Chinese from lin's as a kid. New owners took over years ago and it improved! The food is soooo good . A new Chinese restaurant opened near by and I fell in love with the golden chicken. But realized that the food at lin's is much better and the best priced. Hands down worst Chinese food I've ever had! The soup was more like pudding and was poor in taste and texture. The Lo Mein had little to no flavor and there were less than 5 shrimp throughout a large order. Will never order from again! Sad that I even have to give it 1 star. read more
