This may be a winery, but the dumplings here might be the best food for miles around! It's a bare bones quick service type place for takeout. Take away to eat at home or sit down at the picnic tables in the back and enjoy. read more

Went here with a group of friends. They had placed an order ahead of time and our order was ready when we got there. We had the chicken and pork dumplings. All very good. I didn't do the sauces because of allergies but my wife said they were very good. read more

Came in before our tasting at Kemmeter. Took about 40 minutes from ordering until we finished eating so be aware if you have a tasting after. They will also take your order before your tasting and have the food ready when you finish. They have a few picnic tables outside to eat at, though it was quite windy on the day we visited, so we opted to eat in the car. Ordered the chicken and pork dumplings (one with salad and one with salad and rice) and the curry chicken bao. Everything was outstanding and just enough food for 2 for lunch. read more

I've heard nothing but good things about these dumplings and we had to stop by as we were in the area. I had no idea it was on site of a winery. There is plenty of parking and it's a very short walk to the storefront. Menu is simple with a variety of dumplings to choose from and sides (salad or rice). We liked that you can pick multiple fillings for your order. We went with chicken and pork. You get one sauce per order, so we added an additional sauce because we wanted to try the spicy vs non spicy option. We were given a pager and were told it would be about 15 mins. Drinks are also available for purchase. There is no indoor seating, but picnic tables and Adirondack chairs are available. We really enjoyed our lunch with a view. The seating area overlooks the vineyard and a small pond, creating a lovely picturesque view. The outdoor seating patio also has a shaded area which we took advantage of. The food was truly worthy of the hype. These dumplings were some of the best we have ever had. The filling was plentiful and flavorful. One of my favorite aspects of the dumplings were the crispy bottom. The sauces helped to enhance the experience. The spicy sauce was not too hot. The perfect amount of heat. The rice paired well with the dumplings and we ordered another large count for our group after devouring the first batch. These dumplings will be hard to forget and while it is a drive, I know we will be back. Our visit to San's Dumpling is one of my favorite dining experiences of the year so far. read more

We're obsessed with dumplings. We got so happy when my husband found this place. Serendipity! They were really nice. We decided to get the medium dumplings with half chicken and half pork. OMG!! They were some of the best dumplings that we've ever had and we've had a lot of dumplings. Haha both were really good. I preferred the chicken and my husband preferred the pork. They were really meaty and cooked perfectly. The shells were really thick. We loved them. If you love dumplings, you must try them. Your taste buds will thank you. There were also some beautiful views outside. read more

The food is really good, especially for this area-to be honest, this area is a pretty barren place for most Asian cuisine. The dumplings were hot, well made and plentiful. We had the family meal, both chicken & pork dumplings as well as an order of the curry chicken Bao buns. The dipping sauce could've been a bit spicier and more vinegary, but that's a small quibble. The hours of operation are pretty narrow, so between that and only outdoor seating at the winery, I took off one star. Definitely worth the ride down the lake to check it out. read more

Stop here for the freshest, most delicious dumplings (and bao) in the finger lakes area. Situated on a hill overlooking beautiful Seneca Lake, this is a must-stop when you are on the wine trail. A simple ordering counter in a bright and clean kitchen. The dumplings are extremely flavorful, and perfect balance of soft and crispy. The cherry on top was the chicken curry bao bun, I'm still thinking about it! read more

The food was so delicious and the kitchen where it was prepared was so clean. The owner was very nice and it was refreshing to hear that all of the food is all made from scratch with locally sourced produce too! read more

Sans Dumplings was suggested to us by a friend from the area. It was not super obvious from the main road where it is located but we were pleasantly surprised to see it next to a winery. We each ordered the small chicken dumpling meal and waited for about 15 mins. The space only offers to-go orders unless it's a nice day, in which case you can sit at the outdoor tables. The dumplings and rice were absolutely delicious! They are large and very filling, plus the sauce totally completed the meal. The service was also so welcoming. I noticed how the owner spoke so kindly to her staff which always makes me more inclined to support and recommend a business. It also makes the food taste better too! read more

Delicious dumplings with fresh ingredients and tons of flavor. We went with the chicken dumplings with rice on a recommendation from a local winery owner and so glad we did! After hiking the gorge in Watkins Glen this was the perfect dinner. Sauce spicy or non both very flavorful! Now that we know about this hidden gem we will be back. Hours are varied so check before you go. Excellent service very friendly. Spotless kitchen exceptionally so. There is seating outside and a fire pit area only pickup in the shop itself. You can buy them frozen as well to take home and make yourself. read more

Dumplings were incredible. Curry bao buns were insane. Had to get a box of the frozen dumplings to take home. So delicious!

If there was ever a dumpling oasis, this would be the one. I can't believe that such a high quality dumpling restaurant is truly in the middle of nowhere next to a winery. I come from a foodie Mecca in Northern California, and this would be competitive with some of the best dumpling houses in the Bay Area. I will truly go out of my way if I'm even remotely in the area to come back to this place I was met by a very nice woman at the counter who guided me through the menu and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. read more

So we came here as we had a reservation for a tasting at Kemmeter Wines (they are in the same place) Basically it's a to-go situation and also it's a seasonal set up so check all your social media channels. They have outdoor seating a plus. You can either call in your order or go in an order. You will be standing around but it's ok. It's run by the wife of the vineyard her her assistant. The owner )of the vineyard) was actually sitting in the back eating the dumplings. Get you some..they are fabulous We got the combo plate with is six dumplings with rice and salad and choice of sauce for the dumplings. The dumplings are absolutely scrumptious and you can also order some to cook at home. Also you can pick up a bottle of wine in the spot too from the vineyard. So please give them a whirl. We will be back.. Parking on site. read more

All around amazing experience! The women working were sweet and the food only took 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend calling to order. The dumplings and bao buns were amazing!! The bao was so soft and flavorful. The dumplings were juicy and I 100% recommend the spicy sauce with them!! Sitting outside and looking out onto the vineyard was a beautiful addition! read more

What to eat besides cheese and meat on the Seneca Wine Trail? Dumplings! Yes they are pricey but so good! They really fill up the baos and dumplings with meat. I loved the curry chicken baos (3 in an order) and pork dumplings. So delicious! You place your order inside Kemmeter Wines (same space), and then wait outside. There are picnic tables outside while you wait and you can eat there as well. Probably the best thing to eat around here! read more

Best dumplings in the Finger Lakes( maybe even Upstate New York!) Make sure you pair it with local wines

Delicious dumplings that I recommend for anyone passing through while on a Finger Lakes excursion. I previously reviewed the owner's husband winery Kemmeter and mentioned the dumplings as it did not have a Yelp listing at the time. I am excited to see Sans Dumpling taking off with its own listing. Several visits later and Sans is still a must do on my trip to the Finger Lakes. The owner is very friendly, and the dumplings always come out delicious. I always burn my tongue here because I just can't wait to get my hands on the dumplings. My girlfriend and I love getting a mix of chicken and pork long with Bao Buns on the side. We love to order dumplings and sit outside alongside the vineyard soaking in views of the property. Unfortunately, you can't enjoy wine from the property on-site, but the restaurant has a great selection of soft drinks to choose from to wash the food down. You don't need to schedule a tasting or even be a wine lover to dine at the restaurant. If you are in the area craving something different, you won't regret the food at Sans! If you only take one thing away from my review, let it be this. Enjoy the dumplings, make memories, and spread the word so this business can continue to prosper! read more

Excellent format for a dumpling restaurant. The dumplings are all amazing and the Curry Chicken Steamed Buns are incredible. Good selection of beverages. The scenery is also amazing, just wish there was more outdoor seating. read more

A cute little takeout shop that specializes in dumplings to go or eat at a few picnic tables. The pork dumplings served with salad and rice were delicious. Everything about Sans Dumplings is great. Seriously. Just go there. It's just that good.

The dumplings are really good. Rather expensive, but really good. I gave it 4 stars because there some carafes of water and I asked if I could have a cup. They said no, I could buy water from the cooler. Come on... I just spent $42 on dumplings and they can't give me some water?! I might never be in the area again, but if I am I will probably be back but will bring my own water. read more

Just yum! What a lovely texture and spice. Perfect wrapped up in a dumpling. The bao were perfectly made, soft on top and crunchy bottoms!

Little pristine dumpling kitchen tucked into a winery. Friendly service. Take out only. May well be the best dumplings I have ever had.

Our favorite stop along the wine trail for lunch or a take out dinner. Call ahead and place your order if you have a larger group.

Oh. My. God. Such good dumplings! We had the pork with the spicy sauce and they were everything! I wasn't even hungry and wanted more.

Amazing dumplings tucked inside a very pretty Seneca winery. What an unexpected and delicious addition to the area. My family lives 30 mins away and we made the trip twice during my recent visit. (it's a very rural area and good places like this are worth the drive!) Everything was great but you can't beat the classic pork dumpling. Worth calling ahead to place an order before you head over. read more
