This was my first time that I went to a restaurant where all the ordering was done on an IPAD, I loved this way of looking at the menu and ordering! I do not eat red meat and there were plenty of chicken and vegetarian options to choose. I cannot wait to return to try more of the sushi as well as the soup dumplings again-so tasty! I was the only customer inside but another lady came for a take out order. I ordered an appetizer- dumpling with sweet chili oil. This was very tasty and not too spicy and I really enjoyed this app. My main dish was the Cumin Lamb- I was very disappointed and I had to work hard to eat. This dish was overwhelmed with red peppers that were not edible and not chewable. I had to pick the peppers out of the dish and then eat. I had no time to enjoy the food that was placed in my mouth. There were also a plethora of onion and green pepper chunks. Some of the onion chunks were not chewable nor digestible. This was very unpleasant. I would like to come back to try the Peking Duck but I was not impressed by my first visit. I am not counting Taste of Chengdu totally out of my rotation but I am not in a hurry to return.
