I got a premade Italian sandwich for $7 that was actually quite big and very tasty! And I got a $2 bag of salad - ate half of each for dinner, and the other half the next day for early breakfast before going to the national park. They do also have a limited beer/wine section; I found a voodoo ranger imperial IPA which I had with my sandwich once I got to my airbnb. Overall, was an A1 dinner. The staff were friendly too, and plenty of parking in the lot! Bathroom was reasonably clean.

Here's to the health nuts and all the benefits of eating our fruits and vegetables. No matter where ? The need for healthy eating overtakes one. Eat great to be great ! Highlighting this, the produce area was top notch ! So much variety. The rest of the store was well organized. This local market offers everything that an individual needs and lots of different options. The employees here are very kind and knowledgeable. The check out process was very thorough. The cashier made some small talk and noticed immediately that we were foreign but was still kind. Passing through or just living here local stop by for all your needs

After trying to remove the asphalt by driving one tire on the rumble strip, we exited the freeway and sought help. The tire store at the truck stop was useless, so we Yelped tires and located the Walmart automotive center. It was located behind the store so it was not visible from the street. After a few minutes of explanation they pulled the car into the tire bay. The almost new tire was fine, just coated in one spot with lumpy asphalt! We didn't need a new tire! While waiting inside the store we Googled asphalt removal and discovered the good old WD -40would do the job! We had to back out of the tire bay since the store couldn't use the product on the tire. We bought the large regular formula and sprayed down the tire. And waited a while...like ten minutes. The poet gooey asphalt started to melt, and we were able to drive away, shedding asphalt with every rotation of the wheel! Thanks Walmart for being so honest!

I am not an employee of Walmart, I do not get an employee discount. So my question to you is why do I shop there if I do the work and take others jobs? I don't want to ring up my groceries, don't want to bag them, get checked as I leave your store. I don't mind people who are other than US citizens HOWEVER I expect people who can speak English when I ask a question in your store. If you want US dollars then pay English speaking people who can give "CUSTOMER SERVICE " and represent your store. I have never seen your groceries go down in price ever, always up!

Hoping to share the benefits of fresh locally grown produce with my mom, who still lives in Vegas, I searched the internet (thanks, Yelp forums!) and was pleasantly surprised to discover a family-owned farm in Moapa which offered that and more. Since 2010, my mom has been a Meadow Valley shareholder. The shares are split into seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, and range from 8 to 14 weeks long. When we first signed up, a weekly box per season was the only option, but now they offer a Half Share (every other week), and a choice between a Standard Share (the vegetables in your basket are preselected) or a Premium Share (customize your basket online the previous week). You can pick up your basket directly from the farm, but they will also deliver to the Las Vegas, Henderson, and Mesquite areas for a small fee. Their prices are incredibly reasonable and the product far surpasses what you can get from a grocery store. Obviously, the harvest varies by season. Still, after two years, my mom never fails to comment about how the fresh carrots or kale or beets or squash or (feel free to substitute your pick of produce here) are bursting with flavor. I never would have imagined that such an abundance of greens, veggies, and fruit could come from Moapa. Not only that, but they offer an Egg Share option, and sometimes have honey or bread. It's not uncommon for herbs or flowers to pop up, either. I have to make special note about the quality of customer service offered by the owners, Lyndy and Bryce. My mom isn't internet-savvy, so I handle everything from my end, and how I "signed" her up to be a shareholder was complicated because of the circumstances. It didn't show from their end, though; they were happy to accomodate us and have always been quick with responding via e-mail. They even called her to make sure her first delivery was on par. My mom is picky and unafraid to be vocal about it, but Meadow Valley has far surpassed both her and my expectations. I'm happy to support both their business and their principles. In the spirit of "community", they even support other local CSAs -- trust me, Las Vegans, if you haven't experienced what's akin to a farmer's market delivered to your door, you don't know what you're missing out on. Anyone looking for fresh, local, quality produce in the LV metro area should absolutely give Meadow Valley a try. Yes, you can join a CSA even if you live in a desert!

I have to tell the cucumbers I buy from Bryce & Lyndy are fantastic, as well other vegetable fresh chicken and eggs. We also find there honey, fresh bread, nuts, and more. I recommend my clients to go and hold fresh produce. I am an Esthetician who likes very much natural products to eat and for my services, specially for masks, lotions and more, I have my Spa close to the market so it is convenient to go between clients or before I open. So most of the time we eat like we should not, let's be happy, healthy and fun too all at the same time . Walking through and around this store is too exceptional, the people that work here are so "happy!" I cannot fathom how much they care. Actually I can . Love exists here and it's a place to food shop in the local area. I so enjoyed walking through the store and seeing all that is happening. They are veteran friendly and strong here. How patriotic!! As you shop it's seems like you can just experience so much joy walking up and down the aisles . At every turn is a different wonder that makes an impression on the individual. You have random dogs that are walking their owners enjoying being out. You have beautiful flowers that look great. What sort of plants do you need? It's that time of year for Halloween and they have pumpkins . Carve up a puzzle for all to enjoy. Let's go out and see what you were missing . And remember to have fun.
