This greatly damaged the interior of the doors. Additionally, the house was built in 1994, and the exterior of the doors had been damaged from sun exposure and weather over time. Antelope Trail was recommended by another contractor that we had paint the exterior of the house, so we gave them a call. Travis was able to switch around his schedule to fit us in before my parents came in for the holidays. He completely refinished the exterior and walked my wife and I through the entire process. It came out perfectly! The doors basically look brand new... he gave great advice on color choices, finishes, etc. In the end the doors look great. The interior was more of an issue. The padlock rigging had done a lot of damage to the door and Travis tried to fix this with some oak plugs, but it didn't look quite right. So, he literally went and took a class to learn a different touch-up method. Upon completion, he came back and redid the interior (free of charge) and it looks almost as good as new! Super-friendly, super-trustworthy and very good at what he does. I would recommend to anyone looking to refinish or repair any door/furniture that may need a "refresh."

Meanwhile, we were in Denver for a 2-hour layover for flight to Chicago. I found this kiosk on Terminal C offering clothing merch and other souvenirs (socks, beanies, lanyards)... and, yes, stickers! Founded in 1873, it's the largest brewery in the world (according to Wikipedia). I just looked at the merchandise. The guy working there seemed rather busy. The shirts, caps, keychains, bottle openers, lanyards, socks, caps, beanies, and soft coolers were okay. I even saw some soft sleeves that go around the aluminum cans... I'm not really a fan, and I don't have space to carry anything else! Are you a Coors fan?

Mareks Disease Warning I bought a sexed female silkie…read moreAugust 2025, which is not cheap by the way since it's a guaranteed female. I noticed right away that one of her feet was curled a little when we got her home, although she was still getting around ok. They did refund me half for that. I thought maybe it was just a birth deformity never corrected but her condition got worse over a few weeks and she became paralyzed in both legs, couldn't walk at all, and stopped eating and drinking. I'm a novice backyard chicken keeper so it took me a bit to learn what this was but it was definitely Mareks, vet confirmed. They obviously should've mentioned the possibility at least when I alerted them about her foot. I'm fairly new to this so i didnt even know this was something i had to worry about. They claim the chickens are vaccinated. Maybe she was already sick beforehand if that's true. Incubation period can be 3 weeks to several months. It is incurable and progresses fast once symptoms start. I'll never buy from a non-commercial breeder again based on this experience. So heartbreaking for backyard chicken keepers. My kids see these guys as pets. I now have to assume my whole flock has this virus. And they very likely do.
