Our little one loved getting her face painted, jumping on the bouncy castle, petting all the animals, doing the hay ride, etc. My favorite part was that the pumpkins were still on the vine, which is a contrast to other pumpkin patches where it's obvious they grew them elsewhere and dumped them on the field. For this reason, the pumpkins were more expensive at Mile High Farms. The food vendors were underwhelming, which is why this is four stars instead of five. It won't stop us from returning next year, though we'll be sure to pack our lunch or pick up sandwiches on the drive over.

I saw after looking at other Yelp reviews that I'm not the only one who's encountered and immediately disliked dealing with her. Even simple, friendly, gardening small talk turns into something confrontational because she absolutely has to be right, until proven wrong. My advice would be to completely avoid her and enjoy the stellar service from any other employee. They've been to my house at least 10 times and our artificial grass still looks like a terrible terrible mess. There's no way that you should get artificial grass from them. I paid extra to make sure that the rock underlayment reached the neighbors, but I had to check on them and they had to come out and redo nearly the entire border. When they spread the rock in the yard, they didn't bother to put the drip lines to all the plants that were already planted. I had several plants die because of this. If you don't know how to supervise them or have the time, you are in trouble. If you need a tree planted or some shrubs, they are probably fine. If you need anything that requires labor and material, you better go somewhere else.

I love that this place is a low waste business. I am also just trying to limit plastic and buy less things with plastic. This place is great to buy products like that such as loofahs, wool dryer balls, and glass straws, etc. One thing that I was really excited about while visiting is that they have tons of options for fragrances for their products. They add scents with essential oils. I was not sure if everything would be unscented, that was not the case at all. They do have unscented options if you are into that. I am currently trying out their shampoo, soap, and laundry pods. They have been great products. I think the laundry pods do a great job and the shampoo and soap leave me feeling clean and refreshed after using. The lady who was working here was super nice. They also had a cat at the store which kept my kids occupied while I shopped! Definitely come check them out!
