There are some cute clothing items for sale and an even cuter coffee shop in the back. They also sell tallow which is amazing. We get the ice cream often too. Admission includes a hayride to the pumpkin patch, where you actually get to walk around and pick your own pumpkins off the vine. (Unlike the pumpkin patches up in Longmont that don't let you wander anymore.) Plus there were games, animals, food, tractors, slides, a corn maze, and a craft fair--something for everyone! The views are gorgeous and there's lots of photo ops, too. But the hayride and the pumpkin patch were the best part, in my opinion. Bookmarking this farm for next year!

Our son was really into the corn maze, since supposedly there were little Lego men hidden in a part of it. We never did find them, but the carrot made him more willing to explore the maze. Our little one loved getting her face painted, jumping on the bouncy castle, petting all the animals, doing the hay ride, etc. My favorite part was that the pumpkins were still on the vine, which is a contrast to other pumpkin patches where it's obvious they grew them elsewhere and dumped them on the field. For this reason, the pumpkins were more expensive at Mile High Farms. The food vendors were underwhelming, which is why this is four stars instead of five. It won't stop us from returning next year, though we'll be sure to pack our lunch or pick up sandwiches on the drive over.

Even in the busy holiday season! + The staff is for the most part friendly and helpful. They have always been able to answer my mailing questions. + This location is always clean, has a small selection of packaging materials, and of course various seasonal/collectible stamps. - Even though my work is located not even a quarter mile away, they won't forward/drop off mail addressed to our physical address. This gets incredibly frustrating. Everything has to include our PO box. Never mind that I live half a mile away and there is no issue getting mail delivered to my home. Lame! At the end of the day, it's a post office. I never expect too much, but they get the job done!
