This Vet Hospital saved my puppies life! Hands down the best animal hospital I've ever been to. Incredible customer service, incredible treatment of animals, incredible everything. I walked in with a puppy mouth filled with tartar and gingivitis and walked out with a happy dog and a good antibiotic. Not only did they remove the tartar, but they ended up not even needing any extractions or pain medicine because they did the work so clean and perfect. It also only cost me $195, when other offices were quoting me $1,600 minimum AFTER being forced to pay $100 for a "pre-dental evaluation"! Outrageous! Thank you thank you Linn Veterinary Hospital. I really appreciate the pristine work, and I know Faline (the puppy) does too!

My beautiful baby boy

I had to have a large dog euthanized. after sitting in the car for almost an hour 85 degrees I called back into the office to see if they'd forgotten about me they said "no they were preparing a room for us " after about another 20 minutes someone came out to get us they took us into a room and we filled out paperwork she told me to hold my dog if I couldn't do it she would bring someone else in because the shot was painful (The shot was to make him drowsy) she immediately left the room within about one minute after she had left my dogs had started swinging violently back-and-forth back-and-forth back-and-forth Similar to when you see a blind person that cannot control her head movement And they move their head back-and-forth only this was much more violent He started to walk in a circle and finally his rear end gave out and he laid down his head was still moving back-and-forth violently I was holding his head trying to hold him still and talking to him to calm him down his front feet were digging into the flooring We were crammed in a small room between a table and a wall he didn't even have enough room to lay down he started gasping for air (there was absolutely no room preparation if that's what they call it ) The vet popped her head in and said "oh his head isn't all the way on the floor yet" " i'll be back in in a few minutes" his head wasn't on the floor because I was holding him to keep his head from swinging back-and-forth My dog started drooling and gasping for air clawing at the floor she finally came back in and said "oh has he been doing this very long?" She told the assistant to hurry up and shave him so they could euthanize him. He kept gasping for air and shaking his front feet clawing at the floor she listened and said "there was no heartbeat take as much time as you need" and she walked out of the room. My dog started gasping for air again it was the most horrible experience I've ever had i've had to put sick animals down before and they didn't go through anything like this my regular vet had brought in a beautiful pillow for my dog to lay on a beautiful blanket to cover them up when I had to euthanize my dog at Reid Vet I would never recommend these people

10 days after becoming deathly sick and 4 days after a blood transfusion little Pookie Lu is going HOME!

I've been taking my dogs in for years. The same great staff and Dr's here after Ben Braat retired. Will always recommend them.

Bad scheduling. An hour in the parking lot waiting for care is unacceptable. Will fin a new clinic.

Always running behind time. You could be waiting up to 30 mins or more. When you call you are on hold for looooong periods of time.

Great veterinarians. Super nice people. They have different waiting areas for dogs and cats. Their prices are fair.

She has arthritis in her back but she started to lose her hind legs from underneath her. She would fall several times a day. She was having trouble getting up from sitting or lying down. I tried to call our vet we had been taking all our animals to, but they were unable to get her in for another whole week. At this point my baby girl was whining from her pain. I looked around for other vets and ER vets. That's when I came across River's Edge Pet Medical Clinic. They got her in the next day. When we arrived we were instantly greeted. When they took us back to the room, the girl who wrote down what was going on with Isabella and our concerns. She also has a cough and gags while coughing. They addressed that issues as well. Dr. Gray was amazing with our dog, took his time examining her and listening to her heart, checked her legs, hips and back. He explained what Isabella is going through, was very thorough in explaining her condition. He went over possible medical procedures that could be done later if that's what we would want to do. He didn't push for extra tests or x-rays. He gave us a good a good therapeutic treatment for her, that is the best for her at this stage. She was given a pain shot and they filled the other pain medication for her there. He also went over some things we should do and change in our home for her to make it easier for her to walk, sit and sleep. Discussed raising her food and water dish so she is not bending all the way down while eating or drinking. Make a ramp so she doesn't have to go up or down stairs and changed how many times a day she is fed. So 4-5 times a day instead of 2 times and just divided what she was eating in the 2 feedings into 4. This will help her acid reflux and her esophagus because that he said is irritated. We got more questions answered by a vet we saw for the first time, than we have with the vet she has been seeing. We were shocked when we were given the price break down of the visit because it was a lot cheaper than we thought we were going to pay. We would have paid at least $600 plus at our regular vet but this visit was only $223 and it was an urgent care visit which costs more. I am so impressed with how well they were with our dog and explaining everything to us, that we are changing vets. We will now be taking all our animals here. Yeah, I may have to drive 30 minutes to get there as to only 10 minutes to our old vet; but it totally worth the drive! Thank you for making us feel comfortable and helping Isabella with her pain. I definitely recommend this vet!!

Steph and the manager Chris (Christine), were horribly awful to me accused me of stealing cats. I had to send a picture of the dead person (literally) to PROVE she was dead. WTF Both of them need to be fired! They wouldnt give me the boards info because they knew they messed up. Awful place. Warehouse. Animals in animals out. Everyone there was super friendly from the front desk to the cat rooms. I've had 6 cats over my life from shelters and the way this place is set up makes the adoption process easy. They allow access to a lot of the cats in a play room, so you can interact with them and see if the cat a good fit. I was so impressed with this place. You could say it's the cat's meow...LOL. I also want to give a shoutout to the young lady helping me in the cat room. I forgot her name, but she is young and has red hair. She was a delight and also knowledgeable. This is the kind of employee all Humane Societies need. A very pleasant young woman. I'm already in love with Dorothy, who now answers to Kiki. I'm indebted to SafeHaven and "Red" for helping me find the perfect match. Thank you, SafeHaven for the great work you do for your community and for all the animals you help.
