Disappointing. That's all I want to say. What I had scheduled for my pet didn't get done. I will not be back.

He was not better by the 23rd hence I rang the ER Vet in Salem only to be told they were overwhelmed with patients and could not accept any more that night. They referred me to the Covallis Willamette Veterinarly Hospital. After a 50 + minutes, pouring rain drive from Salem with my very sick cat, I arrived and was warmly greeted by Isabella. After the vet had evidently seen my sick kitty I was presented an estimate of costs to perform what they deemed necessary tests. The estimate had 2 columns one the "high" and one the "low"; one was over $1900 and the other over $1300. I was honest and told them I could not afford these extreme costs. after some conversation I was told I could have fewer tests done but nothing would be conslusive as to his ailment. After 5 hours I was given RX's for pain and nausea for Kitty, neither made sense to me but as it was after 4 a.m. I chose to take him home and try this treatment. He did not improve on the 23rd and I took him to the Salem Emergency Vet where he was diagnosed with a bacterial infection and given IV hydration and antibiotics. I picked him the 25th at 10 p.m. much improved and has continued to get better daily. He had RX's for antibiotics and an appetite stimulant. My time at the Corvallis Vet was a waste of time & money.

I felt the beagles were getting great care. I took my dog in to Alpine this past Nov. 13. for a blood test. I was told results would come in 24 to 48 hours. there was never a call. EIGHT days later, I called. Asked for the results was told the Vet was busy. I called on Nov 26th. And asked them to mail them to my house. I called several days later. Asked again. they said they would. Today is Dec 6th.....still no results! I complained again and asked for a full refund. This brings me to the other issue....,as I was paying they verbally told me the total cost $215.00, when I got home the receipt said $298.00! Some would say this was a bait and switch deal. Just what the bloody hell did I pay $298.00 for?????? They didn't even take her temperature! they took her from the room was there an actual blood test??? Found a new Vet. Always do your research!

They now have one single vet assistant (not even a vet tech!) at night to check on things apparently. Reassuring right? This is one of the worst vet offices in the county. The above example of not wanting to pay someone qualified for overnight care of sick animals should be the first clue... they are 100% about making the most amount of money possible. Their appointments are always triple or quadruple booked. They seem to cheap out on everything, from the run down building to the poorly maintained kennel in the back. Some of the veterinarians there seem good at their jobs, but there are plenty of better run, cleaner and more ethical vets in town.

Worst for Reproductive breeding management! The prices for…read morec-sections are going up drastically. They also quote you a price and never end up with that price it's always way higher!!! Numerous times I have had stitches come out on my females after c sections. One repair ended up with two more stitches popping inside. Did surgery on a puppy without my authorization, almost killed my one female by giving her hormone meds she had a bad reaction and passed out twice, they had no idea there were side affects, had to call my regular vet who said to stop giving to hercand she immediately got better. Also you better have a calm dog because they practice drawing blood multiple times on multiple jabs, students are nice but it will cause your dog some stress and discomfort . Have had semen over spun and killed by Dr Strickland who can have a horrible bedside manner. . They gave my newborns plasma without my permission as well. No longer going to use them as I have had bad experiences with every c section. Multiple stitched coming out causing hernias. This is also happening to other breeders in the area. Newberg is definitely cheaper than osu teaching school. Osu is double what newberg charges unfortunately. Makes no sense it's a teaching school so prices should be lower than regular vets but they are doubled now.Last visit Forced to sign a waiver I would not sue them after all the negligence..

Unfortunately they have gone downhill in recent years. A year ago, I lost my fur baby due to complications that they caused while trying to treat her for a more benign condition. It was something that could have been avoided, had they caught the cause of the complications early but they didn't. When my pet became worse, they couldn't be bothered with her and told me to take her to Willamette instead. By then it was too late. Please don't bring your pets here. Corvallis has better veterinary options.

They tell you a price, then when you checkout its different higher price then what you were told on the phone. last year 4/9/2024 i took my dog to Dr.Weston . My dog kept licking her private erea(i thought maybe she had a uti? I told Dr Weston,( and everyone else there my dog) has hip displaysia in both hips and has had surgery, gave them her records and said please be careful because her legs are not connected to her hip joint. They took her in another room to examine her and was charged $260.00 Later when she got home she couldnt walk anymore due to town and countrys not paying attention to my dogs records or what i said to them. i called back the very next day 4/10 and was charged AGAIN for a emergency visit and another exam visit to add insult to injury , literally! Dr weston would not take any responsbilty that they did anything wrong and i paid another $242.00 and it was basically a infection of the skin, there wasnt a uti at all. I paid total of $602.00 because of their neglect with my dog. i am a snow bird and been going to town and country since jan 2022 to present 2025. when my dog is here she has bad allergies, when i am away in another state the allergies stop. Dr Weston has given my dog cytopoint injections when i am here which work for my dog always. On june 12/2025 in for that ,and a da2p shot, when i went to pay they charged me for three years instead of one which i was quoted for, didnt explain until i questioned it. the cytopoint for allergies didnt work my dog is still suffering day and night scratching and biting constantly. so i called town and country back and they wont correct or help her from relief and told me i had to make another exam visit with dr weston at $70.00+ to discuss it ! i am out $125.00 already with no relief or help for my dog. How do they get away with this and not even try to make it right? I will be putting my next complaint with the better buss. bur. too. Read this and beware
