What a wonderful and intimate experience this winery is. The wines are fabulous, relaxed atmosphere, and we didn't feel rushed at all.

This winery won me over immediately with their cosmic greeter, Lucy (the dog). Lucy met us in the parking lot and walked us to the front door to enter the tasting room. The wood interior is soooo cozy. I love it. We were then poured 7, 1 oz pours for the tasting. Their chardonelle was fantastic as were all of the reds. The chardonnay and the white blend were a bit past their prime for my taste. We left with a bottle of the chardonelle, the Barbera, and a sparkling albarino. read more

Cute little winery with some good wines. Not a lot of seating indoors so be sure to make a reservation if you want indoor seating. As lot of really nice outdoor seating in the gardens. They have a fun bocce court as well. The worker didn't have much of a personality, i don't believe she smiled once but the wine was good and the boards that the wine was served on were great! Very unique and fun. Very small tasting room but cozy. Worth a visit if you're in Thurmont (also recommended stopping at Catoctin Breeze which is very close). read more

I absolutely loved Links Bridge! They have four really top notch reds (barbera, Syrah, cab franc, and monocacy) and a lot of great whites as well (the Albariño and chenin bland stood out). They also have terrific charcuterie boards to pair with a tasting. Overall, this was a great stop, and I look forward to coming back! read more

This place is magical! It's kid and dog friendly but in the best way. There is bocce, pickle ball, a whole elevated patio near the river, and this lovely garden that feels like your own secret garden (minus the cholera). I could spend hours here. The wine flight is a generous sampling of their reds and whites and you can take a bottle down to the river with your kid or dog (or both) and Lucy, the resident pup, may even come to play. Even with the. Hold ten and dogs it feels somehow classy and casual so you can just feel at ease and enjoy the nature surrounding you. The charcuterie board was a hit! read more

Links Bridge is a beautiful quaint winery. Joan and her husband are so sweet, and helpful with any questions you have. Take the time to strike up a conversation with them, they're super passionate about what they've built. The wines are great too. Really loved the Cab Franc as a red and the Albariño white is also delicious. The grounds are pretty to take a walk down into the vineyards. This is my third time back and I'll def come again! read more

This is one of the most pleasant vineyards/wineries in the Frederick area! We had visited here once before for a group wine-tasting and thought it would be a perfect location for our recent small wedding. We had approximately 30 family members at the wedding and everyone loved the place! The owners (Joan and Bob) are friendly, helpful, accommodating and gracious. As we planned the event over the last few months, they were happy to meet during the week with us and the vendors we had selected and make sure that their physical site was ready for the occasion. We were pleased to see that they were "kid-friendly" with outdoor games (since we had grandchildren from the ages of 2 to the 20s coming) and could whip together a "Plan B" in case of bad weather (they have a ready supply of board games, "just in case"). The flowering trees and shrubs around the patios framed a lovely setting for the actual ceremony. We're pretty sure this will be our "go to" place for our future anniversaries! read more

New favorite winery in Frederick! Tucked away along the creek with plenty of seating, shade, and stuff to do. We took the kids tubing down the creek and then did wine and a big cheese board on the patio. And they have a great pickleball court if you want more to play. read more

This is a really cool spot. It's a small and charming winery. I was greeted by a barking dog when I arrived. I met the owner who was very nice. Their tasting is very generous. I think it was about 8 wines or more. The outdoor seating area is very charming and small. I didn't see a lot of parking options so my advice is get here early as I'm not sure how busy they get later in the day. read more

Joan and Bob are so sweet and welcoming and really were the best hosts. Somehow they made you feel like long lost family visiting their quaint vineyard, while also really knowing their stuff! Joan happily explained all the wines we tried and happily gave us the history of their small vineyard. I couldn't recommend this winery more. read more

What a great experience. We were Immediately greeted at the door by the owner and the tasting specialist (Suzanne) who was awesome. A little different tasting process, you sit at a table and they pour the seven wines, 4 whites and 3 reds ($7.00) at the same time. Suzanne did explain the process of how each wine was made. Don't miss this winery, it's definitely a hidden gem. Our favorite was the 2017 hillside Chardonnay and the 2015 Cabernet Franc which were not on the current tasting list. They also have a great outdoor area, and you can take a quick walk down to the river. The tasting room was pretty awesome too, it's brand new with plenty of room to move around. read more

We traveled 40 minutes out of our way to visit Links Bridge because of the great reviews on Yelp and Facebook. Both places say the winery is opened from 11am to 6pm today. Unfortunately when we arrived there's a sign on their gate that says "by appointment only." It never occurred to me that I'd also need to call to ensure the winery is opened if their hours are listed as opened online. So disappinting and a complete waste of time. read more

Spent a day vineyard hopping with friends and this was our last stop. This is a new vineyard, only been open three weeks, so I had no idea what to expect. We were greeted by Lucy, the adorable border collie owned by the owners. She showed us her trick of jumping in the air--really cute! We truly enjoyed our visit to this vineyard! The inside had a charming farm house feel with all the exposed wood. A nice twist to our tasting was instead of standing around a crowded counter, we were seated at a table and they brought the wine to us! Very nice touch!! They poured all seven wines at once and no one hovered around us so we were able to take our time. There were five whites and two Cabernet Francs. I'm a red wine girl but I did enjoy their Vichard, a off dry white. I found both of the Cabernet Francs nice as well. We also appreciate that even though they close at 6:00, we weren't rushed out and were allowed to take our time to finish. I hope Moore people get a chance to visit this really charming vineyard! read more

My now-husband and I cannot say enough good things about Links Bridge Vineyards, Bob & Joan, the servers, the setting, or the wine (or Lucy the dog!). We first came across the vineyards last year in searching for a small, intimate rehearsal dinner venue for our then-May 2020 wedding. We were instantly endeared by the remote setting amidst rolling hills, the finished barn, and the walkable path to the Monocacy River. It became our favorite winery in the DMV area when we subsequently met Bob & Joan and tasted the wines. Despite being a smaller winery, the wines here are the best we've had - my husband is normally a beer-only person and even he was buying extra bottles to take home and share with friends! We struck the jackpot in finding the vineyard for our rehearsal dinner, and were thrilled with how accommodating Bob & Joan were in working with us to finalize logistics. Then, COVID hit, and we were utterly blown away by how accommodating they were in first moving the rehearsal dinner from May to August, and then (upon significantly scaling back our wedding) switching from rehearsal dinner to being our wedding reception venue! Beyond switching the date and time, Bob & Joan worked with us to make sure tables were set up and distanced, tents were ready in case of rain, a server was present (thank you, Suzanne!), the wines we selected were plentiful, our detail-oriented families had plenty of time to decorate, and the evening progressed completely smoothly. We know a COVID-era wedding reception is far from what Bob & Joan signed up for when we first visited, so we cannot say enough thank you's for enabling an intimate, picturesque, perfect wedding day. We will be coming back here many, many times for relaxing Saturday and Sunday afternoons - something very few people can say about their wedding venues! (PS: be sure to try the dry and sweet Muscats). read more

The barn is really cute and we liked being able to sit down for the tasting. They also give you separate wine glasses for each taste which is nice. The owners are really friendly and we loved the 1 minute drive to the river where we could eat our lunch. What a sweet hidden gem! They are off to a great start with 7 tastings at a private table. The tasting menu tells you all you need to know about the wines, and no one hovers around to bug you. Joan and her staff were great! We brought a bus of 27 people to a small winery and she bent over backwards to accommodate us. The winery inside is beautiful with all wood. Their wine is VERY good. After our tasting, we went down to the river and sat under the trees for lunch and to enjoy the beauty of the river and winery. Joan had tables and chairs for us. A fabulous winery. We wanted to try out the newest winery in Frederick County and were blown away. Excellent wine in a wonderful setting. It was like spending an afternoon on a friend's patio. The cheese plate with the ash goat's cheese was very nice and generous portions. And they have really hit on something with the tasting served at a table! We'll be back! read more
