I have left messages at the front desk and on his cell phone. Finally got someone else to give me a lesson from the local paper. During my lesson the grass was great it wasn't very pitted and was well taken care of. We spent all our time on the driving range and putting range. Today I went back to practice my new love for golfing on the driving range and I think the rain softened the grass because it was pretty beat up. Then again maybe I was just being more sentsative based on the fact I didn't have any instruction this time. The woman at the counter was extremely helpful and pleasent and she went and found my husband clubs to pratice with so he didn't just have to stand there and wait for me. It was only $4.00 for a small bucket of balls (72) and there was no other charge to use the driving range. Inexpensive and fun Saturday mornings!

Despite having no one behind us (we had let faster players through) he continued to hover, interrupt our flow, and spray while we were setting up and actively hitting shots. He saw us hitting, yet he would creep up on us, drive in front of us, and stop right in the middle of the fairway. I had to yell to get him to move from the fairway so we could hit. Reporting this safety concern to the clubhouse was equally frustrating there was zero sense of urgency or apology from Brian who simply brushed it off. As a younger, diverse group of daily fee players it felt very clear that we weren't being taken seriously. If one of the established local regulars had complained about being actively sprayed with chemicals in the middle of a fairway I'm sure it would have been handled as an urgent priority instead of being dismissed with a shrug. Poor service, bias, and a complete lack of care for paying customers makes it hard to recommend coming back.

We had a fun time together--because mini…read moregolf is hard to mess up when you're with good people--but I walked away honestly just feeling sad about what this place has become. I remember coming here when it was still Cascade Mini Golf (still calling it Cascade in my head). It had charm, character, and those signature water features that made it feel a little magical. Now most of those water features are completely dry. The few that still have water look dirty and unmaintained. Algae, grime--it clearly hasn't been cleaned in a long time. I noticed that the owner has responded to similar reviews over the past year or two, saying that the ponds are periodically drained, cleaned, and treated. But based on what I saw--and the photos I took--I find that hard to believe. This level of disrepair isn't something that happened last week. It looks like it's been ignored for quite a while. That's the frustrating part is that this place still has so much potential. The course layout is fun, people are still showing up, and with even a modest amount of upkeep, it could be great again. But it needs care--and right now, it just doesn't feel like it's getting any. I really hope the owners invest in bringing it back to life. Until then, it's hard to justify more than two stars.

What a beautiful community. We booked our stay online. There was conflicting information about whether or not pets were allowed. We have a small dog, who we monitor very closely - especially in a golf course situation. We called the pro shop where you check in a few times and it was clear the RV park management was not a priority in their training. Our stay went well until we went to check out and my husband tripped over the grounding post at the electric box. There was a lot of bleeding and I called to ask them to send a manager to help me assess the situation. He never introduced himself, he seemed unclear how to help, although he was nice enough. I told him he might want to add a barrier around the post and might want an incident report in case his injuries were worse than cuts and a bloody nose. So not impressed with the employees, but the place really is nice.

Upon arrival, the employee, Tanner, informed us we had to start on the back 9 which was no problem. He then said the back 9 is cart-only, and charged an additional $24 for a cart despite no mention of this requirement on the website. When I questioned this, he dismissively suggested walking the front 9 twice, which wasn't what I booked. Reluctantly, we paid the extra fee so we could play what we booked. Tanner then said we could "walk or use the cart for the front 9," which we understood as a goodwill gesture. However, after one hole on the front 9, a marshal confronted us for using the cart, forcing us to return it, retrieved my push cart from my car, and trek back to the 2nd hole. This interruption was frustrating and was so weird that we were being monitored mid-round. Whatever, we moved on and finished our round However, as we were leaving, Tanner approached us literally in the parking lot as we were about to drive away, and we thought he was going to offer an apology. Boy were we wrong. He accused us of "stealing" the $24 cart use, despite his own unclear communication and despite the cart being returned per their wishes. Being accused of theft as a paying customer, especially after such a poorly handled situation, was outrageous and unprofessional. Tanner does not know me or my character. The lack of clear policies, poor communication, and confrontational attitude made this a 1-star experience. Save your money and play at Hobble Creek instead. Payson, UT is not sending their best.

WE ARE OWED AN APOLOGY FOX HOLLOW…read more My boyfriend golfed fox hollow on March 2nd. Let me start by saying he is a very experienced golfer, he golfs 18 holes numerous times a week at many courses throughout the Salt Lake and Utah Valley. He is more than accustomed to golf etiquette and is very patient with courses when things are just moving slow on the course. His 1:00 tee time was delayed by 10-15 minutes. By the 4th hole, a gentleman from two groups behind them drove his cart over to them and told them to speed up their play. My boyfriend and his playing partners politely explained they've been waiting at every tee box and understood the course was just playing slower. He drove off and said have a nice day. This man was not the course Marshall, just someone from a random group. At the 11th hole, the same man began taunting my boyfriend's group telling them to speed up. This continued from hole 11 thru 18. Even though it was obvious that my boyfriends group could not speed up their pace of play as they were waiting on the group in front of them, and if they would have allowed this taunting gentleman to play through, it would not have accomplished anything as the gentleman would have then been waiting on the same party my boyfriends group was. Normally we would chalk this up as poor sportsmanship and golf etiquette of random people on the golf course. However.... This gentleman proceeded to drive up to my boyfriend and yell homophobic slurs. At which time it was uncovered this gentleman is an employee of Fox Hollow Golf Course by the name of Mike. Who was sporting a Mohawk, skinny denim jeans and a zip up hoodie. Not only is it incredibly upsetting that an EMPLOYEE would be ruining a paying customers experience by taunting and belittling a customer, but his homophobic slurs while representing a course he is employed by are disgraceful. As an employee of the course on or off the clock, if you are playing on the course you should be showing the utmost professionalism. Including dressing in true golf appropriate attire and not in street clothes. We will not give our money to Fox Hollow ever again, and strongly encourage any one that is LGBTQ+ or is an ally to rethink giving your money to these people. We will be following up with a better business bureau review as I truly think the amount of taunting my boyfriend went through was a sign of discrimination as Mike believed my boyfriend as Gay based off the slur he yelled. Do better Fox Hollow.
