My husband and I have not played golf here but we did spend a night in their RV park. Which was lovely. The views here are amazing and seeing the wildlife is a bonus. What a beautiful community. We booked our stay online. There was conflicting information about whether or not pets were allowed. We have a small dog, who we monitor very closely - especially in a golf course situation. We called the pro shop where you check in a few times and it was clear the RV park management was not a priority in their training. Our stay went well until we went to check out and my husband tripped over the grounding post at the electric box. There was a lot of bleeding and I called to ask them to send a manager to help me assess the situation. He never introduced himself, he seemed unclear how to help, although he was nice enough. I told him he might want to add a barrier around the post and might want an incident report in case his injuries were worse than cuts and a bloody nose. I don't do reviews, but we had a deeply disappointing experience at Gladstan. As out-of-town visitors, we booked and prepaid for 18 holes walking online. Upon arrival, the employee, Tanner, informed us we had to start on the back 9 which was no problem. He then said the back 9 is cart-only, and charged an additional $24 for a cart despite no mention of this requirement on the website. When I questioned this, he dismissively suggested walking the front 9 twice, which wasn't what I booked. Reluctantly, we paid the extra fee so we could play what we booked. Tanner then said we could "walk or use the cart for the front 9," which we understood as a goodwill gesture. However, after one hole on the front 9, a marshal confronted us for using the cart, forcing us to return it, retrieved my push cart from my car, and trek back to the 2nd hole. This interruption was frustrating and was so weird that we were being monitored mid-round. Whatever, we moved on and finished our round However, as we were leaving, Tanner approached us literally in the parking lot as we were about to drive away, and we thought he was going to offer an apology. Boy were we wrong. He accused us of "stealing" the $24 cart use, despite his own unclear communication and despite the cart being returned per their wishes. Being accused of theft as a paying customer, especially after such a poorly handled situation, was outrageous and unprofessional. Tanner does not know me or my character. The lack of clear policies, poor communication, and confrontational attitude made this a 1-star experience. Save your money and play at Hobble Creek instead. Payson, UT is not sending their best. read more

this is a great course but the workers there are very very bad. Tanner is specific is a very rude and impatient worker who does not try and help out anyone but just wants to hurry up the conversation so he could go back to watching videos on his phone. Tried booking a tee time since the whole day was wide open and he was giving up the hardest time ever! very ridiculous and not a good way to earn business. thanks to tanner i'm telling everybody i know not to play here!!! read more

I've played here 3 times and had a good experience, and tried call in to book a 4th tee time and had a horrible experience with a tanner over the phone he told me I had to book the time online and that they don't allow people to pay when they get in the pro shop which Is absolute bs as I've done this 2 times before, this was also confusing to me as they had quite a few tee times available, I would recommend the course but they for sure need to work on their etiquette as a buisness and train their workers better! read more

Staying at the Rv sites. Absolutely gorgeous Snow capped mountains , wildflowers and deer. What a setting ! The Rv park sits in the middle of the golf course. Heading up to the clubhouse for breakfast tomorrow. read more

First review I have ever done. Started the round and on the second hole our cart was telling us how slow we were playing. We finished the front nine in 2hr 5 min. That is without counting the late start their starter called us. Every hole the carts were telling us to how slow we were. I am always very mindful of pace and have never been called a slow player. We had nobody waiting to tee off behind us on any of the holes. The back nine more of the same. Cart blaring every hole. They came out and made us skip a hole. Still, nobody ever waiting to tee off behind us. We skipped the hole and finished in 4hr 5 min. 14 min a hole seems like a good pace even according to the USGA "The USGA recommends that a group of four golfers should aim to complete 18 holes of golf in 4 hours and 30 minutes." If we played the hole we skipped, we would have finished in around 4 hr 20 min. I have never been badgered like this on a golf course. If we were really playing slow I would take the L. This place sucks. I hope they get new staff because the course could be very enjoyable. read more

Golf course and views are AMAZING! Staying at RV park for 2 nights at 45.00 per a night. Kinda worried we might get hit with inexperienced golfers. Went up to grill inside club house for late lunch. We were only ones there. Both of us ordered cheeseburgers with tater tots. Beautiful big burgers with whimsy napkins. I asked for no mustard and mine had I swear 1/4 cup of mustard on both sides of bun. Worse part was the black slimy, unwashed old lettuce on the burger as I took a bite. Only ate meat patty itself. Tots were not cooked all the way and barely warm. Went inside and girl behind counter said, " I didn't see the rotten lettuce!". How could she not as she is the one making the burger. I told her I was just hospitalized with food poisoning and that her job is to protect the people who eat in her little grill. No offer for return on burger. Ate 3/4 of the patty and threw the rest away. No offer to refund my money. I would not recommend this place due to its poor food hygiene and customer service. Come for the golf and views but diners beware!!! read more

Wow! What a perfect course! Where do I even start! Right off the bat, I have to say that this is one of the most scenic courses you will play in Utah. With all the amazing views from the tee boxes that look back at the mountains or out on the valley, it's always beautiful. Not to mention all the wildlife I've seen while playing. Most recent we saw over 2 dozen dear and about a dozen turkeys. Secondly, The tee boxes and fairways are well kept. The greens are pretty good, a little slow, yet still good. Finally the toughness of the course. Gladstan definitely has some shots and lies on the fairway or off the tee box that can require quite a bit of creativity and skill. Regardless, it has some very beginner friendly holes on the front 9. In conclusion, This course is my current favorite to play. The views and all the animals you see are such a huge plus. And it's a great course for all golfers! read more

This is one of my favorite Utah courses. The views are amazing, the course is well-maintained, challenging and fun. And the staff is really good and helpful. Except the golf pro. This is the only reason for the 3 stars. Otherwise it would be a 5. Don't know his name, but he is a real piece of work. Management (Payson City) should hire someone else. Fortunately, I've only interacted with him on one round. Here's that story (Spring 2023). When I arrived at the course, it was sprinkling and the weather app showed it would get worse. (Fortunately it cleared up and was nice.) When I checked in at the clubhouse, though, I asked what the rain policy was. Before the staff could answer, the golf pro said "This is NOT rain. You won't get a raincheck for this." To which I replied "I'm here to play golf, not to get a raincheck." Then I explained that the weather app showed that the rain would get harder throughout the morning and I was just asking their policy. The pro abrasively said that if the course was unplayable due to weather then we would get a raincheck. OK, maybe he just woke up on the wrong side of the bed. After we teed off, we were driving up to hole 2 as the group ahead of us had just driven away from the par 3. The men teed off (two of us on the green), and my lady friend was about to tee off from the ladies tee when the golf pro walked down the hill and yelled at us for not keeping up with the group ahead of us. (That really got in her head for the rest of the front 9. We're here to have fun and play golf, not get yelled at by a pro asshole who might also be a pro golfer.) When we were finishing hole 6 (another par 3), the marshal drove up to us and said that someone had called the clubhouse complaining about the pace of play. We checked the time and calculated with the marshal our pace of play. We were on a 2 hour pace for 9 holes. (The standard pace of play for a 4-some is 2:15.) The marshal then said that the pro was two groups behind us to which my friend just said that he understands that it is bad optics that we aren't right on the heels of the people ahead of us. However, the pro seems like he is just being grumpy. We were playing at a fine pace. The marshal watched us play and said, "Well, I can tell that you all know how to play golf. Try to keep up the pace." And then he drove off. It's a beautiful course. But having a pro like that really ruins the experience. He should go find another line of work; one where he doesn't have to interact with people. read more

We were on an RV trip through the Pacific Northwest and headed south through Utah. Found this wonderful course that has an RV campsite right in the middle of the course! We arrived at 3, played an AMAZING round of golf then settled in to our site for the night. It was quiet and only a few other RV's. Definitely would return. Great course, grass is always maintained well. The back 9 is tough but scenic. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is im a beginning golfer, every time I've gone they've yelled at me for "taking too long" and theyre rude to any customer who isn't a "tournament player" I played almost $50 to be yelled at? The course is in good shape but the pro shop (assistant pro) was pretty bad. I've heard from a few guys he's kind of an A hole but we had an 11 year old who just rides in the cart and putts and 15 year old with a youth on course membership and he charged adult rates for both of them ($44) and just was pretty standoffish. I don't think we will be back but the course was pretty fun. read more

Fun course. Set on the bench of the mountains and very scenic. Front nine is more flat and open. Back nine meanders through the mountains & a lot more tight. Pretty good course for all skill levels. Good restaurant (I love the philly steak sandwich). Staff is awesome! Nice driving range. read more

I love this coarse. It is always in a good shape and incredibly scenic, the customer service was excellent workers at the desk were friendly and respectful and were very willing to help my group get a pushed back tee time when one of us was running late. The only reason I gave this four stars was because two times they started watering the coarse while we were still on it, interfering with our play. (And we were playing at a good pace) other than that however it is a fun, challenging amazing coarse! read more
