My husband and I came across this toy store and we're blown away of the vision and mission the owner Sarge and his beautiful daughter Eden have. We feel that we were brought here by God's will. Not only do you get amazing toys for the kids at a very reasonable price but also Anime action figures as well. One of the greatest blessings for us was to discover this gem of a store that gives out to the community. Sarge is an amazing person and blessed us with the story of his mission but also gifted my son and husband with a Brett Favre Funko doll and my son who has autism a sensory Pikachu pop toy. They've really taken advantage of the space by including floor to ceiling options of products. You can find ceramic character displays, posters, plushies, and functional items like lanyards and keychains. I personally like to visit here for the Totoro products. I've bought a small ceramic Totoro at the bus stop figure and it lights up. The staff have been really accommodating each time I've visited- excited to help find products, and willing to hold them up front so you can continue shopping with ease. My only wish is that they would get a larger variety of Studio Ghibli products- for instance, they don't have any Howl's Moving Castle products. But, any of the really popular animes are easier to find products for here.

They weren't busy with other customers; they were just chatting with their friends. Eventually, an employee came over and passed me off to Nick. I explained I was new and needed some help, but from the get, he was unfriendly and dismissive. I tried asking questions, but he barely answered, acted annoyed by my lack of knowledge, and gave me these disdainful looks like I was wasting his time. It got worse. He finally said, "You should probably leave and come back with someone who actually knows what they're talking about." My jaw dropped. I asked if he was seriously telling me to go. He backpedaled a bit--"You don't have to, but it'd be better if you did, since you really don't know anything"--So I left, feeling humiliated and frustrated. Thankfully, I went to Sevens Goods and The Paladin's Rest instead, and it was the complete opposite-- staff was genuinely kind and patient and not for one second did he make me feel stupid. We've been going back ever since for buying, trading, whatever. My boyfriend says the prices are fairer there too, and the whole vibe is just so much more welcoming. In the end, it worked out--thanks to Nick, I found a better spot. But I still feel bad for the owners. I can't imagine Rudy would be happy knowing how the staff treat people like that. Some of the gift ideas were mostly gift cards so here I am at Target to see what are available. Wall of gift cards has lots of options from sit down restaurants to fast food restaurants to shopping to movie theaters to Google Play to Play Station to Target and more. Please note there are NO Amazon gift cards available. Why would there be, right? That's okay. I ended up getting these gift cards... 4 $25 Target, 3 $25 AMC, 1 $25 Play Station, 9 $10 Subway, and 8 $10 Starbucks. Subway comes in 1 pack with 3 $10 so I got 3 packs. Starbucks come in 1 pack with 4 $10 so I got 2 packs. Total came out to be $370.00 which averages out to be $45 per young adult (I gave the extra $10 Subway to my daughter). Hope the shopping/movie and food/drink treat brings the young adults some good cheer this holiday season. Check-out was easy. Staff was friendly.
