I had recently participated in a toy drive for underprivileged children and/or young adults in our local communities. I sponsored 8 young adults between the ages of 17-20. Some of the gift ideas were mostly gift cards so here I am at Target to see what are available. Wall of gift cards has lots of options from sit down restaurants to fast food restaurants to shopping to movie theaters to Google Play to Play Station to Target and more. Please note there are NO Amazon gift cards available. Why would there be, right? That's okay. I ended up getting these gift cards... 4 $25 Target, 3 $25 AMC, 1 $25 Play Station, 9 $10 Subway, and 8 $10 Starbucks. Subway comes in 1 pack with 3 $10 so I got 3 packs. Starbucks come in 1 pack with 4 $10 so I got 2 packs. Total came out to be $370.00 which averages out to be $45 per young adult (I gave the extra $10 Subway to my daughter). Hope the shopping/movie and food/drink treat brings the young adults some good cheer this holiday season. Check-out was easy. Staff was friendly. Btw, Target no longer has the red gift envelopes for their gift cards. Thank you Target for your Gift Cards wall! Grateful for the massive options. read more

This Target makes even the worst Walmart seem like a Neiman Marcus in terms of service. The employees are beyond rude (the women at least). Also, their inventory count for online + in store orders on the app is super off. I came here specifically for something, having placed the order online the previous night. The item was canceled and deemed unavailable when I got there even though their inventory showed 3 available and they told me to go to another store to try my luck. If I would have known, I absolutely wouldn't have driven all the way out here. Inventory issues, I can tolerate. But the disgusting attitude from the employees (even a vendor who was there) was so bad I am at a loss for words. I'll never step foot even near this ridiculous store again. read more

The manager by the name Marcus was very racist. He took one glance at my skin and decided to be completely unhelpful and rude. He was unwilling to help me sort out an issue and claimed he was unable to provide me simple information about my purchase. I feel hurt, degraded, and profiled I hope no one else has to experience this kind of treatment. This Target is the absolute worst when it comes to drive up orders. To begin, they are notorious for missing items or giving DAMAGED and EXPIRED items. Now they have started a cool new thing where they mark all of your items as ready for pick up but when you get there, they cancel items and call it a "technical issue." It's not a technical issue. They are just not marking items out of stock when they shop as they should be. There are many reasons why this is WRONG but what makes it so messed up is because customers can't prepare for alternatives, we can't pick a different store to pick up from, and we can't pick to have it shipped for free instead either. Target is just screwing us over to make their numbers look better. They also like to have you give them your code to indicate your order has been picked up, then make you wait 10-15 minutes for it to be actually brought out. I'm not sure what incentive they get from all of this but it comes at the cost of customer service and caring about their customers. In a time, where the economy is uncertain and inflation is at an all time high, I encourage you to give your business to other companies who won't do this. Initially this target was not my fav. I preferred the one on hwy 18. I had a negative experience when trying to return my VR headset I got from this particular location. They claimed the serial numbers did not match however they did not know that only 1 number on the box was suppose to match in which it did. I left the store crying because I was so embarrassed however after speaking to corporate, the manufacturer, and the store manager over the course of a few days, they corrected their error and apologized. Sadly it was a lesson needing to be learned at my expense but it help the store overall. The turning point was when I needed to return some unopened bags of diapers but I did not have the boxes to them. These diapers were on my baby registry and they were all target brand "up and up" diapers. I did not want a refund, just store credit to purchase larger sizes for my baby. After a bad experience on hwy 18 target, I brought them here and Emily and Jesus were beyond accommodating AND with a smile on their face. I did not feel singled out because it was a "ghetto" transaction but totally legitimate. Little things like this matter to me. And I appreciate them for having staff that is willing to listen and help. This is my neighborhood target and I'm proud to shop with them. read more

I went alone at dusk. Found most of what i wanted. When I got to my parked car, a couple had just pulled in next to me. I moved a cart that was setting directly behind my car up to the front of my car. the girl from the car started walking toward the store, but turned back waiting for the guy. He told her to go on ahead. that he was going to stay and "have fun" with me. I got in my car. The young male who had just parked next to me put the cart back behind my vehicle. He stood there with the cart for some time, pinning me in that parking spot. Finally, when someone came out, he got back into his car, but left the cart behind me. I didn;t know if he was trying to force me to get out of my car. I waited for a bit hoping the girl -would come back out and they would just leave. She didn't come right back out. In fact, no came out of the store. I didn't have my phone with me, so could not get help. I ended up pulling out and damaging the rear end of my car. I will not shop there again- especially at night and when the place looks deserted. Incidentally, I am a disabled great grandmother. It's sad how many predators and enablers there are now in the High Desert. read more

Was there earlier this morning with my two young daughters. Picked up some groceries and some play jewelry for my daughters senior pictures. At the self check out, a worker stood behind me stalking me like a hawk. Making sure I wasn't stealing anything. I was going to turn around and ask her what she wanted. She was a Latina like me, and she singled me out, out of the white people that were also there. She's forgetting that she works for us. And me spending my hard earned money is what pays her. I went to go return an item first it was a regular guest service advocate he did not bother to help me and he immediately called his manager. Which I was whatever about but the manager was super rude she was tiny and Mexican. Refused to do my return "policing my return". I had to go into this store for my son who texted me to get him something when I was at Oggis, so it was close by. The inside of the store was sickening busy, not even room to walk. The aisles were all out of everything. I had to make a 2nd stop at St. Bros in Hesperia, to get my son his stuff for him. I was afraid due to the corona virus that I was going to get sick from being inside this store with all the people. I mean, it was PACKED. I've never seen anything like it. It was so cramped. We purchased a new TV a few days and today we hired someone to install the tv on the wall and while opening the box we noticed the tv cracked and so we took it back and you didn't have it in stock and didn't help with an exchange for another tv for the inconvenience. We went to this store today to buy a gift for a baby shower. The store was dirty with most sections in a state of disarray. We arrive to checkout and the girl, Andrea, had just sprayed the conveyer belt with disinfectant. My mom tells me to not put the baby clothes on the wet surface. This employee interrupts her to with, "it will be fine". My mom stated that she doesn't want the clothes for the newborn baby ruined. The girl continues to argue by telling us that we are wrong. I finally ask if she has a newborn baby and if she would put disinfectant on it. She proceeds to glare at both us. Her annoyed looks and attitude were extremely unwelcoming and rude. I have never experienced such awful customer service from a Target employee. She is a redhead with curly hair and around late twenties. I sure hope that she doesn't typically argue with customers and perhaps can take some of her irritation out on the disorganized store departments. read more

I have a non verbal 4 year old son who threw out my keys out of the basket without me knowing. I walked back into target to ask if someone turned them in, the guy I asked just said 'idk' without asking on the walkie or anything. I walked away from him and went to guest services. The girl said 'idk I was on break' and the guy said 'I'm not sure'. Like can you guys ask on your speaker or even look to check for me? I walked around the store with my toddler without any employee offering to help me look for my keys or anything. I asked an employee in one of the sections I was at and she finally asked on the walkie and they told her someone turned them in. Thanks to her for actually trying to help! read more

He is super nice and never fails to ask how you are doing, he is vary talkative with positivity it's always great seeing him working hard. Had a lady follow me all over the store and when I went to check out she stood behind me the whole time (which makes no sense because if they had actual cashiers they wouldn't have to harass customers while shopping) while waiting in the self check out line she scanned one of my items with her scanner while my back was turned and rushed me to check out after scanning one of my items. Once I scanned the 20$ item she walked away. Mind you when I come here in my work uniform I never have any issues but regular clothing I'm followed I wonder why??? I'm pretty sure I stop by this target daily. Literally guys I'm here everyday! I love this target it always has what I need and things I don't need let's be real. I popped in to get my son some waffles for breakfast and I always know I can find them here. I stopped by the beauty section to pick up some Pixi by Petra products because it's literally the only drug store brand I use. There were a few empty spots which is always a bummer but no surprise. I highly recommend a lot of their products especially the serums and glow sprays. Everyone loves a good summer glow! I also found the Vital Collagen drinks everyone has been raving about. They only had the strawberry lemon flavor so I snagged it. I know Costco carries the variety pack. I have not tried them yet so idk if they work or not. But it's collagen...who doesn't want more! The 4 pack is $16.99. You can buy the powder also for under $25 and make more than 4 drinks but I'ma try it all (I bought both ). The beauty area is nicely stocked and clean. And my fav section the home decor is always a big hit for me. I will not go to target without stopping by this section. Im not giving this location 5 stars based on the disaster I always find in the shoe area. I always peep at the shows cause I'm nosey but never get any haha. I feel that this is one of The Best Target Stores in the HD. It may be smaller in size compared to the Super Targets , but it's always well stocked and has the Best Front End Cashiers, Customer Service Representatives,. Sales Floor , Parking Lot Attendants. Every Department is orderly , clean and they do a hard job to satisfy you . It it really bothers you to see the shoes in such a mess or clothes off hangers . Or lose shopping carts wild and free all over the parking lots * , I'm sure they won't get mad if you want to help straighten it up ? Or return the carts to their proper places ? People don't social distance. No tape on the floor at the pharmacy line to help remind them to social distance. Employees don't social distance and wear masks improperly. Went Christmas shopping early this morning and was disappointed to see so many shopping carts in the parking lot blocking many parking spaces. Once inside, the cart area was filthy with so much trash on the floor and in the carts! I should've left as the shopping experience wasn't good due to the employees stocking shelves and blocking aisles. Why can't stocking be completed before or after the store's business hours? This target is so unorganized I waited in line in the pouring rain for the new Stanley x Starbucks cup since 5am and they said I needed to have an ID to buy a cup!!! This isn't alcohol ! And I didn't have mine so I had to get out of line and lose my spot all for me to come back later with ID in hand waiting 10 spots behind where I was at and not only that everyone's moving inside and they tell me if you don't have a ticket you can't get a cup when the person I was in front of had a ticket meaning I would've had one if they didn't say I needed an ID and not only that I called corporate and they told me there is NOT A POLICY needing an ID TO BUY A STANLEY ! I later on talked to Steven the manager who was very rude he basically said there's nothing I can do you don't have a ticket ur not getting a cup which is so unfair . Me and everyone behind me were waiting in line in the rain for absolutely nothing they didn't even tell us they didn't have anymore they just kept us waiting there in the rain I also talked to Felicia who was also very rude and basically said the same thing as Steven. The Target that I frequent most. The location at Jess Ranch is ideal, and there is always something you need, though usually you can get it cheaper at the 99 cent store next door. They have your average Target selection, the service is fine and though this is a busy area, it doesn't get full and there is no wait. This store is extremely dirty. Not so much on the inside but the outside. Trash everywhere in the parking lot and up against the front of the building. Hire a street sweeper or maybe give one of your young awkward employees a broom and dust pan. Or would that make them cry.
