It would help with paying it off so we don't get hit with the finance charges. When it came time to pay it off with the second card, SNAP the finance company said we can't do that. When we called bros furniture to ask what happened, Jose told his brother Luis that we were lying. So now we have to come up with 1000 dollars before we get hit with the high interest rate. So Luis after saying he would look into it, didnt even try. He instead made sure he was too busy to talk to an upset customer. There customer service sucks. So a couple days later Luis calls and tells us Jose said he didn't say that to us, about using two cards. So Luis says he has a way to fix this problem. Well it consisted of giving him more money to pay the fees that it would cost him to help us. The mistake by lying to us, now is costing us more. Long story short, she bought one and I didn't find out until a week later. The salesman, Michael Jackson (yes, that's his name) basically only saw $$ signs and an easy target. He didn't address safety issues as the couch is way too deep for her to safely get on and off. When I found out, I called and spoked to him and all I got was "all sales are final." I then asked to speak to the customer service manager to explain the situation. He understood and opened a case and said he will also speak to the sales manager. I received a call from corporate and she, too, understood my situation and approved an exchange exception. I took my mom in the next day and spoke with Marty, who I haven't seen in maybe 10 years who I use to do business with in the rent-to-own business since 1989. He is the best! I got him up to speed with the situation and he took care of my mom like she deserved the first time she came in. She did find exactly what she needed and wanted thanks to Marty's guidance. She wound up spending much more than the original purchase but I know my mom and she wouldn't have done that if it weren't for Marty and both managers. They were all very understanding and genuine. We have been up here for 33 years and have had bad experiences with the other furniture stores up here. Save your time, headaches, and $$ and go see Marty!
