I had one of the worst customer service experiences at Ashley HomeStore in Victorville, CA. On September 14th, I purchased a sectional for $603. The very next day, the sales lady contacted me from her personal phone (which was already unprofessional) to tell me they had oversold the sofa and would need to issue a refund. I waited two weeks and still hadn't received anything, so I called the store--only to deal with lies and excuses. They kept saying my refund was "processed," but it clearly wasn't. Half the time they didn't answer the phone, and a few times they literally picked up and hung up immediately. I live an hour away, so going in person wasn't realistic. Customer support told me I had to get the refund directly through the store. My bank said a dispute would take up to 90 days, so I was stuck depending on them. After two and a half months of getting the runaround, I finally filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on Monday--and suddenly my refund showed up on Wednesday night. It should NOT take a BBB complaint for a company to return money for an item they never delivered. The whole situation was stressful, drawn out, and incredibly unprofessional. Do Not shop at Ashley's Furniture store in Victorville ca. If you like something order it online. Cassandra a store associate had applied us for a credit card without telling us. We had been told it was a lease like acima credit. We found out it was a credit card when we received it in the mail. Cassandra insisted it was a lease and we had 30 days to use it. We also had been told a different charge for the furniture than what she charged us. I also noticed the $400 delivery charge and when my husband said we can just pick it up Cassandra then notified us that they do not do pick ups and that we would have to drive all the way to Colton to get the furniture. My husband told her that information would have been nice to know beforehand. Cassandra then said she went to talk to management and lowered delivery to $200 but they would not set up just drop off at the front door. After Cassandra came back and brought the receipt we looked it over in the car and noticed the discrepancy. My husband went inside and asked for a cancellation. Apparently we should have been offered 12 months, 24 months and 60 months to pay it off. We then had been offered the 24 months. My husband just wanted to cancel. It has been a month and still no refund on a pending transaction. Going online the furniture was cheaper and no cost on delivery when they do not set it up. Just order online if you must purchase from them. Do Not shop with Cassandra. You ask her a question and she pretends like she doesn't know the answer to it. They returned the rug--but never gave me my money back. It's been a YEAR and every time I go back to the store, no one helps. They either act clueless or flat-out ignore me. Don't make the mistake I made and get the return policy in writing! Just past our first year anniversary with our Tempur-pedic mattress, it has been one of the worst purchase I've ever made. I went to Ashley Home store in Victorville and spent about hour with Francisco trying different mattresses, I asked him what was the return policy after bed was delivered because how can you really get true feeling on how mattress will be. He said the return policy was 90 days... I left and came back a week or so later with my wife and we spent about hour trying all the mattresses and she also asked Francisco what the return policy was and he said same thing that return policy was 90 days after delivery. Well we purchased and got it delivered and after about a month of trying to get used to it we were having more back and hip pain compared to our 10 year old Stearns and Foster that it was not going to work. Called and spoke with Francisco and was told Ashley Furniture has a no return policy on mattresses and once it was delivered you can't return, and I would have to call Tempur-pedic and have them see if the can repair. It didn't need a repair was just not the mattress for us.. So have learned a valuable lesson to no longer shop at Ashley Furniture and having spents thousands of dollars on a mattress and base and then finding out the hard way that your stuck with it, I have canceled my charge acount with them and will shop elsewhere. They are one of the more expensive stores to shop at and there are so many other places that give you better customer service and give you time to try out a 10 year purchase product to see if it works. read more

So We purchased furniture on December 28th. The furniture we purchased was in stock, saying delivery would be January 3. Then it was changed to January 8th, we called today January 6, to find out what time the delivery would be on the 8th. We were informed, it would now be January the 13th. When you call, nobody can help you because you only get their office, you cannot speak directly to any sales person at the Victorville location, absolutely a disgrace, and I will never purchase another item from Ashley Furniture again. I advise against spending your money here due to their poor delivery and customer service!!! I have experienced four unsuccessful attempts to receive the Jorlina table and 8 chairs. On all four occasions, there has been damage to the products with cracks, stains, chips and signs of repair on the table and white chairs. I have attached some of the photos for your eyes to see. The delivery guys were rude even saying I'm making them do double the work. They tried to make me sighn and keep the damaged product so that a tech could come out to fix it. If this happens to you do not sign as you're agreeing that everything is okay. Customer service will make you open a dispute and then they have to approve it before you getting any help. The store manages Lino and customer service manager Miguel has tried to get us compensation for all the time lost from work for different day deliveries, trips to the store, customer service miscommunication when scheduling deliveries. It's been over a month and we still have not gotten compensation or our table! We have yet heard anything back from corporate and store managers. We spent $60,000 on this location. The furniture is very low quality and definitely overpriced. They gave us a warranty on everything, including our mattress. When we recently tried claiming the warranty due to the mattress being faulty (even the manager admitted they don't sell the mattress anymore because of its faulty design), they gave us the runaround. They kept sending us back and forth between the mattress distributor, Sally's, and themselves, with each blaming the other for the warranty and expenses. None of them wanted to take responsibility. Our mattress is very sunken and deformed at the edges. It's still under warranty, yet they claim it's in good condition and refuse to accept it. Mind you the mattress was around $4,778. The borders are deformed out of shape. The bed also sinks in and they claim all these nonsense about stains, even though we have a stain protector on our bed. They said this in order to avoid the warranty. If you want to buy furniture for looks, you might consider these guys but just consider the overpriced cheap materials and poor customer service, I will never come back to this location. They have poor, horrible service. The managers are definitely at fault; they only point fingers and refuse to take responsibility, even though they admitted the mattress itself is faulty. Even the guy who came to inspect the mattress admitted that it was faulty and defective and should qualify for a reimbursement or a replacement. I do not understand why these people are being so cheap when gave their business so much money, but it's definitely my experience, and I hope none of you go through it. It's not worth it. Poor quality materials and their customer service is terrible once you buy furniture here they you're no longer value you or keep their word on the warranty. 03/18/25 6pm. Service is absolutely abhorrent. I spent $5k on some furniture. Went home and decided to cancel my extended service warranty off my final charges. So it would be a credit back. I called the Victorville Ashley store for an hour. No answer. I went back into the store 7pm. They didn't have one customer. No one but the sales was in the store. All 3 sales men. 3-4 men, were sitting in couches in front looking at their phones. When I asked them why they didn't answer the phone they said "customer service answers phone". They said they can't hear phones ringing anyways! Wow! Just wow Ashley. Unbelievable. Apparently, someone named Miguel is the only customer service and 1. He doesn't work Tuesday and Wednesday's 2. He also does not answer the phone bc they told me to call Thursday and the store like kept going to the Philippines. I am never shopping at Ashley. Their flippant and arrogant attitudes lost a customer. The young lady that initially helped me was very pleasant and nice - this store relies heavily and automation and offshoring to the point they don't try to satisfy their customers. I was looking for a new TV stand entertainment sectional to add to my living room. I loved their showroom item they had on display and gravitated towards purchasing it right away. With the help of Mr. Paul I was able to decided which furniture I wanted. The manager on sight was absolutely helpful as well. We purchased a sofa from Ashley's and has been a nightmare getting it repaired! It has been a year of going back and forth and having them put in a work order to only have it denied. The gentleman that has been assisting us has only given us the run around of putting in an order for parts and nothing has come of it! We have bought a lot of furniture for our home but no more!!!! My husband and I had the worst experience at Ashelys. First off Leo the store manager was rude to his sales person when he asked him to come do the prices since someone put the wrong price on a mattress. Then we were told we had to pick up the mattress in 48 hrs which we said we will be there the next day at 7 which was fine they said that it would be in the warehouse so we can come in and let them know we're there to pick up only thing is the warehouse guy will be gone by then so we said that's fine we can load it from the doc no problem mind you the store manger leo is still standing there and said it will be fine. The next day we go to pick up at the time we said we deal with a manager (Elias Andros) with no name tag very rude chewing his gum like a cow very short as he answers us. Says he was told we would be there earlier we said no then we ask about our items he said oh it's on the floor I have no warehouse guy I said it's supposed to be in the warehouse so we call pull up to the doc and load. Elias Andros kept chewing his gum saying I can call Leo and you can talk to him on speaker which he called him and Leo said he couldn't talk to me he was with his family. Then they hung up I asked Elias what can he do to accommodate us he just kept throwing out how he can cancel the order because we are already getting a deal on it since someone in there store had put the wrong price on the mattress which was not our fault it was on the store. Not once did anyone call us to let us know the remote for the power base was not found and they needed to order. They lost our sale and business we will NEVER return or recommend them to ANYONE!!!! It has been a nightmare dealing with Ashley Furniture. My disabled Dad moved into a beautiful room in a house and I wanted to purchase him some beautiful furniture, it was also required so hospice would have drawers for their supplies. I bought three items, dresser, night stand and a tall chest dresser. Of course it's brand new furniture, and it should be fine and perfect shape, right! Here is my experience, the furniture arrived, I have as kit present as I didn't think it would be necessary with brand new furniture, after work I was amazed that every piece had an issue and that they would deliver furniture with these issues, one piece had delaminated area on the tall chest, as well as noticeable spots on all three pieces, paint that noticeably had ran when painted, gouges and the long dresser had some issues with quite a few areas that were very obvious. I automatically filed a claim with pictures and was told a tech would be out on a certain day and time and I would be notified 30 min prior. I made anyone I spoke to aware that I was the only person that would be authorizing anything as my Dad is not capable of making decisions, nor any of the nurses. I never received a call. That evening I emailed customer service stating I never received a call. The next day I received a voicemail that the tech showed up and stated the furniture was fine. Not only was the furniture not fine but the technician never came and lied saying he had. At his residence there is always at least two people working if not more and there are also cameras. The technician was never at the residence. The second technician was scheduled to come and he did come in the allotted time line. He states I can fix it all. I said, where he said here in the room. I said there is oxygen in his room and unfortunately these types of fumes you would utilize cannot be used anywhere in this home. He said he would let the office know I denied the repair. Here is the thing though , why did I purchase brand new furniture for it to have to be "fixed". I ended up having to go in person to Ashley to speak to a Manager, he spoke to someone that authorized a new set to be delivered. I was told on the phone that they would utilize a VIP service to provide new furniture and it will be looked over closely to make sure it is new and no issues. Wonderful news and I was informed that I had to approve the delivery upon arrival. Not a problem I will be there when I receive the call. Tuesday morning I received a text that they would arrive from 10-2 am Wednesday, replied back with yes to confirm. Later that night I received another text that it would be from 9-1 am, I replied yes and reminded them to contact me 10 -15 min before arrival so I am there as this was the agreement I had with the VIP employee. Wednesday morning at 7am I am at work and receive a text the furniture will arrive in 30 min. This is NOT the timeline I agreed to. I was not able to leave work. I automatically called Ashley customer service and let them know they cannot deliver until the time agreed. She stated I will let them know. I waited for the call that they would be delivering, around 1200pm I received a call from Ashley asking if I was happy with the furniture and so said I have not received a call as discussed to meet for the furniture delivery. I found out they showed up to the residence at 730 am and the nurses didn't let them come in as they were taking care of the residents, deliveries and visitors are only authorized from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. I was furious. They delivered per Ashley at 8:22. I waited until the end of my shift and went to my Dads and all 3 pieces had issues. I emailed them right away with pictures. The response was we can send out a tech to review. I responded with oabsolutely not, I did not authorize the furniture as agreed, come pick up your furniture and I want a full refund. This was so stressful and at this point is still not resolved. I'm am so angry that they have wasted my time and stressed me out about furniture that should be in pristine condition when delivered. New items should require fixing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ASHLEY FURNITURE unless you want to feel taken advantage of, lied to, receive damaged products and endure terrible customer service. We told him what we were looking for and he found us options. The store was empty everyone wore masks and there was sanitizer stations throughout. It was an extremely easy process. Incredible sales people who will go the extra mile to sell you something... and then you get the delivery and receive wobbly chairs, missing screws, and a looooong process to fix the issues. They will take weeks to assess simple things and technician sent to "evaluate" will refuse to try to fix issue because "their policy" requires they only see and report. Furthermore, they will bring no tools or screws; once they order the parts, it may take up to 21 days to receive, at which point they will offer you the chance to "do the work yourself" or schedule another visit from their tech guy. Parts arrive, but not everything that was requested. "What? Something is missing? We'll send someone to evaluate" (again). And this was supposed to be a brand new dining set. However, 2 chairs are unusable and it seems it will end up taking months, and lots of holding on the phone for customer service, to finally get to use what we paid top dollar for. Why didn't we buy from a small business with cheaper pricing? Because we thought, "Ashley is a big store, they'll have better and professional customer support." Boy, we're we wrong! read more

My girlfriend and I came in a few days ago just to see what our options were, Rey greeted us at the door and listened to our very specific needs with our limited space. She was very friendly and talked with us as she has known us for years. We weren't set to buy that day, we planned on checking other store but we came back to Ashley just because Rey was so helpful and kind. We had purchased their protection plan but then through that company we were told this was not covered. 2. The showroom people gave my father the run-around but assured him if he called their office number they could help him with a replacement part and. They gave him the number. I called and was told I was currently 221 in line. WTF?! 3. I opted to get texts but of course the poor Indian man from wherever they outsource their "customer service" could not be of any help. This store is giving us the runaround. We bought an expensive table set 2-tables with 10 chairs, and within 2 months, most of the chairs became extremely wobbly -the screws and bolt don't hold. This is BRAND NEW FURNITURE. We do not have children and we don't misuse the furniture. Yet the chairs are so bad they cannot be used. So we've tried for months now to get this resolved and Ashley Furniture keeps giving the runaround rather than just replacing the goddamn furniture. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable, as is solution of repairing the furniture. Its new. It shouldn't have to be repaired. They are happy to take thousands of dollars for it, but REFUSE to help us since they sold us crap we haven't even been able to use for months! Absolutely criminal. And this Theresa supervisor has done NOTHING to help us. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Do not buy your furniture here... this is the worst experience we've ever had with buying furniture. We literally have furniture that has lasted 30 years and is in amazing shape. Sturdy. Strong.
