If I could give negative stars I would!!! Screw Marcus and his power trip bc he's a team leader! So here's what earned this review: a group of 8-10 customers with myself had gathered before the store even opened to buy Disney Lorcana cards, the associate Cathy that let us in knew what we were there for and instructed us to keep the line we had formed outside, inside the store and to give the vendor space to work. Reasonable request, reasonable response. After patiently waiting over 90 minutes for the vendor, Marcus decides he's going to put on his big boy pants and exhort what little authority he has by changing the instructions that were given to us by the opening associate. This neckbeard Marcus decides that we can't ya know, line up in an orderly fashion (as we had) that we had to disperse and wait, when I asked a question about lining up, Marcus instructed the vendor to put the items in question away and that they would not be on sale today. No doubt Marcus pulled this power-play just so he and his friends could buy up the stock only to flip online. Marcus! read more

I went to Starbucks (they were wonderful) and Target this evening and was treated very poorly by an employee at the self check out department (Cassandra). For personal reasons I needed to purchase my items in 2 different transactions. I was still at the scanner with my items on the scanner when she accused me of stealing in the middle of my transaction. She demanded to see my receipt when I was done. During my second transaction she literally removed an item from my cart and again accused me of attempting to steal it while I was still scanning! I told her if she was going to continue to remove items from my cart while I was trying to purchase them then she could have them. I then made sure as I was leaving to show her my receipt and she proceeded to say I'm good. I have never been treated so poorly in a Target and I will not be going back to that one. My daughters were with me and proceeded to buy their toys and items separately which she hovered over as soon as I walked up to them. They were embarrassed and shocked by how she acted. We left and immediately reported via email to corporate. No customer should be treated that way. read more

Ok been going to this store forever and loved it because u never have to wait in a long line the manager always calls a checker up if the line gets like 5 people in it. However the last 6 months every time I come in this store at night there is only one or two check stands open and lines are crazy long. read more

We shop here often as this is our local Target. The reason for my review is that we had Rachel as our cashier. She was very pleasant and attentive. We have had her in the past and she has always been very nice. It was a breath of fresh air to interact with her positive attitude. read more

My wife and I had to go to target today, which is a normal Saturday trip. We went to the one in Apple Valley and were pleasantly surprised by the helpful and friendly workers. We have shopped at many Targets and they could all learn from this one how to do customer service. We don't live in the area or we would be back. Target was great then we went to the starbucks inside we ordered three peppermint hot chocolates. My mother and my hot chocolate was fine. My sister complained that her hot chocolate tasted like coffee we didnt believe her bc because ours was fine. She refused to drink it. So when we were leaving I said I would drink it I tasted it and it WASNT even peppermint it was straight coffee. read more

By far my favorite target always clean inside, outside sometimes it isn't but we do have lost of wind in this area. I love the size is not too big that I that I may think twice before stopping and it has jut about everything I need on a daily basis. Some things I do have to go to super target but mainly if it's for household items. But very seldom has that happen. Is close to home so is perfect. read more

The high desert is a boring place. You can't help but recognize the fact that eventually, sooner than later, you'll run out of interesting things to do. Target is a great alternative for boredom. My dad says that no visit to AV is complete for me without a visit to Target (and a load of laundry). He might be right... in any other town, Target is just for necessity. I love coming to the store sometimes I come all the way out here from Hesperia rather than the Target on Main st. The unloading employees were very helpful and try to do everything they can to find my item as far for some of the cashiers and the lady helping you at self-checkout not very friendly and make you feel very awkward . Target is always a hit-or-miss for me sometimes I wonder if I'm at the same store. read more

Brandon and Rye have horrible Customer Service skills. My family and I went in because online, it showed they had a TV in stock. We tried calling the store before hand with no answer at all. So we drove an hour to get there because online it showed they had them in. We show up, and ask Brandon for help. He claimed that even though their system said they had 3 in stock, they had none in the store. My wife asked to check the back, and he said he knew there was nothing back there because he had looked for another customer. We were upset, asked for a manager. Rye came over after Brandon told her the situation. She asked my wife for the item info, looked it up on her system and she claimed it showed none in stock. So why did Brandon's system show 3, yet her system showed none? Do they have different systems? They both suggested coming back, but calling first. Since we told them they didn't pick up before I dont see what good that would do. In short, they had a "Sucks to be you attitude". I asked if they would give us a discount on one of the TV's they had and I was told no. So we left. Went straight to Walmart and got a better TV there. I only give this store a 2 star, because 2 days ago my wife made the same drive to get a blender that no other store seemed to have, and they had it. This Target tends to have stuff always in stock. It's unfair we can't take advantage of shopping without a mask! Stupid announcements about taking advantage of curbside if you don't want to wear mask. You can't do groceries through drive up.Not everyone can wear one especially when some have health issues. Do not buy a phone here (AT&T, Verizon and Sprint) horrible customer service. Target/phone representative Kelly was rude and eating while trying to talk to customers. She refused to help me with a SIM card issue. Don't shop at this target, unless you want horrible customer service. Wal-Mart has better customer service than this! read more

Bathroom was nasty. And the customer service is even worse. I asked a guy about a perm and he didn't know what I was talking about, which I can see that because he's a guy, but then he asked two other girls that worked there. And one replied to me, "we wouldn't have anything like that here." So I went looking myself and found it. This One Location always Hot the Ac never seems to be working . I brought a single Item for exchange and it was The worst Exp ever! Did I mention I had a valid Receipt and I was way within my return period , But yet this Cashier went way above and beyond to inspect a simple un opened toy with inpatient customers annoyed. Miserable shopping experience...forgive me for not knowing that your store had 2 seperate lines, and thinking I was next for checking out, as there is no signage or anyone to explain procedure upon entering your establishment. We were at the Target shopping center. My wife and granddaughter wanted some cards. So while they were shopping in Target I sat out front. The front of the store is littered with trash and cigarette butts. The people that smoke must come here to throw their cigarettes down at the front of this store. I thought that maybe the wind is the cause of the front of this store looking so trashed. But the other stores around Target don't seem to look trashy. Winco, Staples, and Petmart don't look trashy in front. My guess is Target doesn't have anyone cleaning the entrance to their store. read more

Love this target. Staff are very helpful. I found an item online and the website showed me that it's available at store. So I went there but couldn't find it. This a nice store with a large selection of clothes, but a small selection of groceries compared to the other super target in Apple Valley.

I went in to buy some makeup, and was surprised to find a makeup specialist in the aisle. I told her I traveled a lot, so I needed some bronzer that wouldn't crack in my bags (a lot of pressed powder does it) and the brand I liked was a little out of my price range. She showed me a cheaper option that came in liquid form (I didn't even know they made such a thing) and was very helpful. She also explained their return policy on makeup, which I wasn't familiar with. Her name was Brenda and she answered all my questions! I go to this target a lot, and her helpfulness will bring me back even more. Checkout people are always friendly and ask if you found anything. When I went and bought a plunger a few weeks back, both employees actually had the plunger themselves and were able to tell me it worked very well. Great location! read more

Some of the employees are lazy. I saw two guys standing around by the carts just talking not cleaning the carts or even getting the carts from outside. The carts outside were overflowing and hitting vehicles in the parking lot. It looks very dirty and there was a lot of trash in the parking lot. read more

Target would have gotten 5 stars besides the fact of my last shopping experience. I shop at Target 1-3 a week and I am disappointed that when I was going through self check out the associate had hawk eyes on me the entire time I was checking out, the first item I range up did not scan which was an accident and she came by to tell me so I range my item up again and as I was doing so she went to get security and they watched me the entire time for the rest of my check out experience. It's a shame that a simple mistake causes an employee to act as if you're a criminal and security even followed me out of the building and the associate had a rude disposition as I was leaving. I paid all my items in full as ALWAYS. Next time I am treated so rude from the moment I get in the check out line I'll change my Target location. read more

3.5 stars. Now that the Victorville Target at Kentwood shut down, this is the oldest, most rundown Target up the hill. The bathroom is always filthy. It's also more crowded than the other two Targets up the hill (Hesperia Main St & Apple Valley Hwy 18) for some reason. I don't understand why people still shop at Target, except as one Yelper put it, its a hipster Walmart.... Hipsters wouldn't be caught dead in a Walmart and they don't mind paying Target prices so they don't have to see some fat lady in yoga pants beat her kids.... I stopped shopping at Target when they stopped carrying Quorn products a few months ago. It is the only non soy based meatless product on the market. Now I go to Bj's health foods to get it. Two words: Hipster Walmart. You pay a little more and have less selection but it's worth it not to look at the toothless scowls and the dead eyes with their 10 kids trailing behind them. Sure I shop at Walmart too but when I do I always leave disgusted and angry, with Target I leave feeling unfulfilled and slightly annoyed. Why is this target so dirty?? I go to the hwy 18 target and its cleaner and the members are even nicer and helpful. Yet jess ranch is considered higher end?? I love this store. Sometimes I see a lot of trash flying around outside but I realize if it wasn't for lazy people, that trash would never be there! The employees are extremely helpful! Just had to write a quick review about how nice everyone was at this store, especially Shane. There was something wrong with the price of one of our items at the register and Shane came to help. Even though we did not interact with him very long, we noticed the way he handled the transaction and how he interacted with us as customers. He has such a vibrant and sincere personality!
