I have never in my life posted a negative review on any business. If the service was poor, I just did not return. I felt obligated to give a review on this business, so anyone who reads it will enter with caution. I returned to a business, that I first went to when they first opened, many years ago.
The sweet young couple named the nail salon after their little girl. "Lindsey" . Moving back into the area I returned to the salon and my first experience with Michelle was wonderful, and I returned a few more times before moving to Shawnee.
After leaving Shawnee and returning to the Basehor area, I went to the salon twice and each time the service was poor and the staff was rude. Including "Lindsey" the young lady that the salon was named after.
The young lady that gave me the manicure asked if I was not pleased. It must have shown on my face.
I mentioned the color did not look like the sample. She explained the sample was only one coat. She offered to change it and I replied "No, it's ok, but the samples don't match the finished product" She apologized and explained it wasn't her fault she applied the color I chose and I agreed with her, that she did nothing wrong. I liked the nails and the shape I just was not pleased with the color.
Lindsey approached the table, after leaving her client she was servicing and proceeded to humiliated me in front of the entire salon. She said it was my pigmentation not the product.
I explained that my pigmentation did not change the color of the polish and that the sample should match the finished product.
She then returned to her client and started complaining about me to the two ladies having pedicures. Loud enough for me to hear her. I paid $45 for the service and left a five dollar tip, before going across the street to "Envy Nail" for a color correction. The sample matched the finished product. (See photos)
There are too many other salons to choose from to be publicly humiliated. Many salons pamper & cater to their clients. That is not the type of service you will find here. Lindsey behaved like a spoiled child in a salon that her parents built for her. read more
