My Ford Fiesta Zetec 2013 heater was defective, but I did not want an appointment for a repair immediately. The call-answering person redirected the call to the Lisburn location, as the Belfast BT4 location was not available on a Saturday for service matters.
I was told that only a Ford-trained mechanic could inform me whether the existing Heater Control Unit (I abbreviate as HCU) needed replacing, or whether a service repair would suffice.
I went to the Belfast location, left a number, was expecting a call back but all morning nothing, so I will have to call them now via the call-routing system - the number can be found by searching on Google or other search engine.
To call in, when a customer rings the main Tel number, the call is diverted through a call routing system.
(press 1 for Topic A; press 2 for Topic B, press 3 for Topic C, etc).
This is for efficiency and call-tracing, but the caller needs to know whether they need the Ford Parts desk, to book a service appointment or to speak to Sales, for instance. My query was finally taken by Parts. read more
