They couldn't get the coffee stain out of my cotton sweater!! They said they tried but they couldn't get it out! As a result they made it very impossible to get it out as it has been ironed in!! I've been bringing my clothes to Linden Cleaners for a few months now and couldn't be happier with the service. The staff is super friendly, they always greet you with a smile, and the turnaround time is fast. Everything comes back perfectly cleaned and pressed -- no weird chemical smell like I've had at other places. This review is specifIcally for their tailoring, which in my experience they don't actually do. They charged me $22.50 to hem my pants 1.5 inches "with original hems." This was offered but not explained, so I figured it meant "looks like the original hem." Apparently, I'm ignorant of this scam. Fine, I fell for it, fool me once. HOWEVER, I got my pants back dated 10 days after i was told they would be done, & I tried them on at home. The hem looks different, but they are not shorter. I'm 5'6". These jeans were NOT 3 inches too long. I cuffed them myself & measured before bringing them in, and I know how to read a ruler. The guy at the shop offered to show me the scraps of my jeans, My jeans were "done" the 10th. I got them back the 14th, & brought them in the 17th. So this guy still has the 1.5 inch scrap of my pants over a week later? And he's telling me I don't know my own height and I can't read a ruler. Also, the thing I learned is that original hems is a scam meaning they slice off the old hem and reattach it. Whether this "service" happened is debatable It was not the service I wanted. But thanks for the complete menu of deception. Lesson learned. This isn't the first time I've had issues with their tailoring. Once they hemmed my black pants with white thread. It was well done & I didn't notice until I wore them a couple times at job where I got filthy daily, so I didn't much care. But that was a $12 job. This time it was no difference for more money. The shop guy called my dad to say that I'm "upset" and offered to fix them for free. I asked for that in the shop & he wouldn't. My dad was also waiting in the car & heard me recount my experience right away. I don't like not being listened to, I don't like being lied to & I don't like being defrauded. Linded Cleaners owes me $22.50. Get tailored there at your own risk. read more

I LOVE Linden Cleaners. They may be more expensive than others but they do a top notch job, excellent customer service - they know you by name when you come in, and no article of clothing has ever been lost (unlike other dry cleaners I've been to, where I get someone else's clothes occasionally and on two occasions, mine have gone missing and never found). I was shocked when I brought in a fine silk shirt that was covered in wax (soaked throw completely, when a large candle fell on me, burning through to my skin with hot wax!). I thought I'd have to just throw it away, but Lisa at Linden Cleaners said she thought it could be saved and I was shocked when I went to pick it up and it was just like new. Thank you, Lisa! After work, got there 10 minutes before weekday close (7pm). It was my first time there, and when I asked for a pricing sheet, the man at the counter said they had none (??). This angry little man proceeded to usher me out without answering my questions - he clearly thought I was unreasonable to come in, during business hours!, to inquire about their services . My preference is to support local neighbourhood businesses. But do NOT go here. It's not worth the poor service and terrible communication. read more

Horrible experience! Took 3 pairs of my husband's shorts in to be hemmed. $65 later, the woman who tailored them berated my husband when he told her he thought her prices were too high. Literally yelled at him while he paid at the register. Unbelievable! read more
